Was on a time crunch and needed help moving some bigger furniture. One complicated and heavy adjustable bed frame in particular. Isaac showed up and was very friendly. He and his partner got right to work wrapping everything well and loading it up. It went pretty quick. Unloading into the new place was a little trickier. There were definitely things out of their control I can't blame them for. The bed frame was tough and it got a bit damaged, but nothing that shows or affects its functionality. They also had trouble with the couch and ended up breaking a stairway light cover, which was not fun to clean up and a bit embarrassing to have to tell building management about after just staring to move in. I texted BZ Moving, and Ryan got back to me immediately to make things right. All in all, they got the job done way better than I could have done myself, so I'm thankful for that. read more

I would like to update my review a bit. We still had a pretty bad experience the first day with the crew that was sent. They were late getting there took way longer than we anticipated and stripped my son's bed, to the point they couldn't move it that day. It took me a while to get in touch with a supervisor. When he finally called he apologized and automatically offered to send someone out to fix it the next day. Thankfully they sent another crew out, at whatever time was convenient for me. They were able to take the bed apart, repair it, and move it at no extra cost. It's a pretty close repair to the original so I am happy with it. I can't say that I recommend this company. When I booked I made it clear that there were stairs at both locations. When the movers arrived I noticed one of them was in sandals... they took inventory of what needed to be moved (some items were staying in my old place) and began moving my boxes. About halfway through moving my boxes and after I signed the contract they said they needed an additional $150 outside of the contract due to the stairs. At this point they had half my items in their truck.. I told them I'd pay it then called the office who stated there was no charge for stairs. They then called the movers and corrected them. It just made the entire experience uncomfortable because I could tell they were mad then I had to trust them to continue moving my items. I will say all of my items arrived without damage. The second location was only half a mile away so while the stairs were difficult, there was virtually no drive time. When the movers were leaving they were adamant I leave a Yelp review and wanted me to write it in front of them. They said "we will help you" and asked me to take a photo of them "but not show the shoes". They also tried to click through the tip window and tip themselves 30%. The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. $700 later I just felt the need to warn others to really think twice before using them. I will say when I called the office later in the day to discuss these issues, they were very nice about it. But for what I paid this experience wasn't worth it. read more

Initially reached out to several moving companies for quotes/rates. BZ Moving was very competitive and since they have solid reviews, decided to select them. Ryan was very pleasant and professional answering all of my questions and accommodated my last min request to start my move later in the afternoon as I needed more time to finish packing and getting everything ready. Den and another mover were the 2 movers that came. The part that I want to highlight was what happened. We had two stops, one at storage center and one at the arrival home. We ended up getting locked in at the storage center because it was past their access hours of 10pm. Tried everything possible to get out but no go. Thus, we had no choice but to leave the moving truck and my car full of stuff there and get a Lyft. I spoke with Ryan of this situation and since the movers lived quite far away, it was agreed that they would stay the night at the empty home we just moved out of - on the floor, no pillows or blankets, we all slept on the floor. This was the worst situation I ever encountered regarding a move, but BZ Moving was so understanding and didn't complain or charge anything extra for the inconvenience. Den and his worker had another job to do in the morning which got pushed out a few hours because we had to go back to the storage to get the truck and finish the move. Den and his worker were beyond helpful, understanding, and made a nightmare situation doable. Ryan was also very friendly, professional and did not even ask to charge anything extra, and only charged the agreed hourly rate for the moving time. 5+ stars all around, especially on their customer service. I picked 1PM for my pickup time and they gave me a window from 1-3PM, where they arrived around 2:40PM. I have a queen sized purple mattress so I was worried if they would be able to take it up 3 flights of stairs but there weren't any issues!
