The sales woman was so uncooperative and difficult. She didn't listen at all. Talked over me. Kept repeating we had to do this "the old fashioned way" to price the truck. Well,yeah. I tried to show him the email from one of his sales reps telling me to just bring it in, he told me he didn't give an F what anyone else said. Ooookay. So i filmed myself dropping the keys off to another rep but I need to sign the closing papers. To say this was a bizarre and weird experience would be the least of it. The customer service here has always been pretty bad but I've never had encountered a retail establishment both employing such an angry, hostile person and treating customers like this.

He came out to greet us. Saw the car right out front and it was in amazing condition, After a quick test drive, Elham had all the paperwork prepared quickly and efficiently. No hassle whatsoever. We decided to finance the vehicle. Zac Auto partners with Travis Credit Union in Concord. Took a short drive there, where we worked with a gentleman named Herman. He mentioned he regularly helps Zac's customers, and it showed. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Travis Credit Union was so welcoming and professional that we even opened a savings account with them. We picked up the car the next evening at Zac's. We were told it had been serviced and checked at their partner shop, Ace Auto Care in Lafayette. The car was in pristine condition. It looked, smelled, and drove like new. About three and a half weeks later, I noticed white smoke coming from a small tube underneath the car. Long story short, it turned out to be related to the battery/heating system. The car still drove perfectly, but not knowing who to call, I reached out to Zac Auto for guidance. A gentleman, Aziz, answered and without hesitation reassured me: "Don't worry...we'll take care of it." I explained what was going on, and he immediately directed me to bring the car to their partner shop, Ace Auto Care. But, they took me in at about 815am. I didn't think it was going to be as expensive as it was. The service writer said I should have my spark plugs changed out. Even with $150 discount, the total was a smidge over $2,200. I guess I can't blame them for their pricing. But, this does reinforce why I use my local Pep Boys for everything else. But, I will always take my baby to a Nissan dealership for the regular servicing. But, they were friendly, very quick (to not have an appointment). I got a call about 1pm that it was complete. The shuttle driver was cool. We talked about the electric car he was using. Very personable.

Before coming in, we called and agreed on the purchase price. When we arrived, they had prepared all the paperwork for financing, even though we had never said we wanted to finance or discussed financing at all. After correcting that mistake, the dealership asked us to sign documents for a vehicle that wasn't even ours. The VIN and registration belonged to another customer's car, and we were shown that customer's information. We were the ones who caught the mistake. After they finally located the correct paperwork for our vehicle, the purchase price was suddenly $500 higher than the price we had agreed on over the phone. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes or honoring the agreed-upon price, the sales manager told us, "If you don't like it, you can just return the car. We're not trying to sell a car." That comment was both shocking and unprofessional. It made me wonder: if a car dealership isn't trying to sell cars, what exactly are they doing? Everyone makes mistakes, but professionalism is measured by how those mistakes are handled. Between the incorrect paperwork, the disclosure of another customer's information, the change in price, and the rude attitude from management, this was one of the most unprofessional dealership experiences we've ever had. If you're considering doing business here, double-check every document before signing and verify every price carefully. Based on our experience, I would not trust this dealership to handle an important transaction without reviewing everything yourself.
