Had a great dinner at CJ Cannon's last night. Only problem was that a couple of our meals were not as hot as we would have liked, but we didn't mention it as we should have, but they were tasty. Lunch with my friend after shopping should have been pleasurable. We both ordered the hot open face turkey sandwich. We chose mashed potatoes with gravy, cole slaw and hush puppies for our sides. First of all, it wasn't very hot. I think it was thrown together and put under the broiler to warm it up because the gravy had a skin on it. Tasting was worse. It was obviously canned gravy which made the instant potatoes unappetizing. We scraped it off the turkey as best we could making that edible. The cole slaw had weird taste that we chose not to eat. The hush puppies however were very good. Pretty sad to spend money on a meal and only like one of the sides. No, I will never go back or recommend. read more

We had a short wait to get in line (again) to go through the airport security after checking our bags so we ordered drinks and an already prepared soup of the day. The soup was a delicious creamy chicken and rice. I'm giving 2 stars because the bartender was a stressed out jerk. He was so rude, to us and other guests including a poor guy who spoke with a tracheostomy speaker box who wanted to pay with a $100 bill. He couldn't accept it? No change? The bartender needs to go to another restaurant. I was too scared to ask him what was a good quick bite so I asked the waitress near the bar instead. read more

Just WOW! This aviation buff was happy just walking through the door - right at the local executive airport, planes all around, aviation memorabilia... fun stuff everywhere you look! Wait time on a Sunday morning wasn't bad at all. Our server Felicia was delightful- and the food!!! Amazing!!! Actually came to this establishment on the recommendation of a client of mine. When they mentioned out by the airport I was a bit skeptical. Glad I followed my stomach (gut). Wanted to try a new breakfast spot anyways and CJ Cannon's did not disappoint. Located in Vero Beach Florida and serving up delicious breakfast lunch and dinner with classics such as Omelets, Breakfast sandwiches pancakes, burgers, seafood, poultry and beef. Decided on Sunday Brunch and it appears to be located inside/near the Vero Beach Airport. While eating you possibly could catch views of planes coming and going. It has a large room to host events and the walls are filled with photos and plane artifacts and such, The wait wasn't long to be seated and order came out in no time. This place was so awesome! Super fun decor, awesome view of planes taking on and off from the airport, great variety of food, friendly staff and clean. The food came quick, was fresh and tasty. The staff was patient and kind with my two children. There were so many cool pictures and antique items. The ambiance was awesome. They had a bar area, cool restaurant area with tables and booths, and then a separate banquet room. I loved this place from start to finish. I ate lunch for breakfast since I don't like breakfast food. It was 10:15am and everyone wanted breakfast, I was happy I could order coffee with lunch and they could have breakfast. Our coffee was refilled before we could finish it, and my boys had refills before they needed to ask. I can't wait to go back. read more

Unexpectedly delightful. Who would expect an airport restaurant to have good food at reasonable prices? I certainly didn't. The only restaurants I've been to at an airport were chains and only after passing security. CJ's is open to the public even if you are not flying. No security check! Four of us dined on prime rib, crab cakes, salmon and a filet. Food was good and hearty portions. Dinners came with an appetizer of cornbread and cheddar biscuits muffins. Went there for breakfast (1/8/25), I ordered eggs, bacon and biscuits, eggs OVER MEDIUM but they were very runny and the white part was like snot and they were cold. The server didn't come back for a while to see how things were and as hungry as I was, I ate the bacon and biscuits. When the server came back, I told her my eggs were runny and definitely not over medium and she said sorry about that and walked away. She also didn't come back to refill my coffee so when she returned with the bill, I asked for a refill. They didn't take anything off my bill for the runny/snotty eggs which I didn't eat. When my husband asked her why we were charged for my whole breakfast she replied "it's part of a combo, I can't do that." She then argued with me and told me my eggs were not raw and we could talk to someone inside. When my husband went inside and asked about the bill and let them know how rude the server was, she grabbed the bill and said we owed nothing and we were told NOT TO COME BACK. We went this evening for prime rib night based upon recommendations. We ordered the regular prime rib and the blackened prime rib, medium rare. Both were quite fatty, and the blackened was more medium, medium well than medium rare and quite salty. We ordered whiskey sours, but returned them because they were too sweet as they were made from a mix; sort of like ordering fresh margaritas and getting margaritas made from a mix. We then ordered one old-fashioned and a glass of wine to go dinner; we got two old fashions instead, which we got after the dinner arrived. The waitress asked if we wanted creamy horse radish sauce or any extra sauces. The creamy horse radish sauce supposedly comes with the black and prime rib so I'm not quite sure why we had to order it separately. Complementary desserts are a bonus. Think we'll stick to brunch which we've been several times and have enjoyed very much.. very disappointed in our dinner though read more

this restaurant doesn't treat people of color equity. I walked in with my emotional support dog (papillon)in a very tiny stroller, and I was told that the stroller couldn't go in. although they have a dog in the restaurant. I don't leave my house without my dog , he's a senior and so am I. it's sad to think that the only restaurant next to the Vero Beach airport will treat customers as so. they need to hire somebody from the airport staff, because in breeze airways, they were very polite and friendly.
