I believe your experience here really depends on the nail tech you get. While my nail artist was very nice, she unfortunately did not have the skill level needed for the set I requested. Before booking, I specifically asked whether the salon could recreate the design I wanted and sent a reference photo. The person who confirmed my appointment assured me they could do it exactly as pictured. The appointment ended up taking over two hours for what I consider a fairly simple set. There were a lot of issues throughout the process--uneven shaping, multiple attempts at recreating the design, and it was clear my nail artist was struggling. I was so unhappy with one of the designs that I eventually just asked her to leave it as is because I didn't want her to keep redoing it. She also told me that my fingers were different sizes on each hand, so she used different extension sizes, which made the overall set look noticeably uneven. Each finger was an additional $5. I've had my nails done many times before and have never had this happen. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially because my nail artist was kind and tried her best. But I left disappointed, and I think the salon should be more transparent about whether a specific nail tech can actually execute the designs they promise to recreate. I'll attach photos below of the inspo and my final set so others can decide for themselves. I've been to a few nail salons before, but my nail artist, Jo, really stood out. She took her time shaping my nails and paid close attention to detail. I requested gel extensions with multiple designs, and the total came out to $118. Considering the level of detail and the time she spent, almost 2.5 hours, I definitely think it was worth it. The process was a bit long (my back was definitely feeling it by the end), but I'm so happy with how my nails turned out, perfect for graduation! All of the nail techs are great! I request for Cici when I want to do cat-eye or more simple gel manicures. If I want more artsy designs, I'll usually request for Ella or Karen. Gel manis are still $45, with full cat-eye adding an additional $15. Hand drawn art design nails may add between $4-6 per nail, depending on the design; while if you're okay with stickers, it may be $2-3/each. More intricate nail designs will require more time & cost more depending on what it is -- so I would inform them if this is something you want to do so they can allot the right amount of time for your booking. I typically spend about 1.5-2 hours to get my nails done (including removing the previous months' nails, nail trimming, shaping, cuticles, etc.) As stated before: Easy parking in the First St. structure behind the shop. Restroom available in the back of the store & always clean. They also do have bottled water, if needed.
