I just had the most relaxing pedicure at Cabernet Nail Spa. First of all, the spa is beautiful with aged brick and reclaimed wood on the walls. The light fixtures and decor are super cool and I loved the copper foot tubs. (Best part is that they use a plastic bag so it is hygienic) I got the wine soak with load of herbs in the foot soak. Amy did an amazing job with massage (my favorite part) and they include hot stones as part of the treatment. They also massage your shoulders if you purchase the higher end treatments - very nice. There are so many chairs - 11 chairs and tubs for pedicures!!! I highly recommend this spa!!! The staff is very professional and nice. I thought that for paying more they would be better than elsewhere... it was a man I didn't even see that he wash his hands nor did he ask me to wash my hands at any time... like they do in other places... Very sad about my experience today. I went in to get a gel pedicure. Ended up getting a not great gel manicure with leftover cuticles and gel on my skin. One of the girls that worked there spent the whole time talking extremely loud on FaceTime with her significant other so it wasn't even a relaxing time. Not relaxing at all when they keep helping other people at the same time leaving mid treatment to answer their phone, collecting multiple payments, or get started a new treatment for another customer. So gorgeous inside! The modern gorgeous decor makes every service just a little bit sweeter. Wine theme is great and they even offer you a glass to enjoy as you're getting your service. Dang I truly wish the nails turned out as great as everything else. The staff is nice & accommodating, the salon is super cute & clean, they have a ton of color options...but my nails looked like I did them myself at home in the dark which the whole point of coming to a nail salon is because we all know we can't paint our toenails ourselves without it looking like your 4 year old niece wanted to give you a free pedi. Mind you, I got gel polish so me smudging up the color would be pretty difficult to do right after getting them done. The color of my manicure was fine but it ended up being very thick so it looks fake even tho it's my natural nail. Not sure if I would try this whole dip gel thing again. But my toes?? Gahhdamm! That being said, the polish job for my pedicure is... not good to say the least and definitely NOT worth $35. It's bubbly, uneven and doesn't cover the entire surface of any of my toenails(I included pictures). Prior to my appointment, I called to verify the yelp offer they promote "1 free treatment." Best organic mani/pedi I've ever had. Upon arrival, you are welcomed by friendly staff and a wonderful aroma of essential oils (not chemicals like other nail places). The music was calming and serene, very spa like. They have a wonderful price tier of manis/pedis to choose from. There are a ton of colors to choose from as well and they even have an all natural bio seaweed gel. Zero chemicals. I had called an hour before arriving and wasn't able to get there until 6 which is when they close and they still accommodated me! I had originally planned on just getting a pedicure but halfway through my pedi I was really loving it and wanted to try a mani as well. They were more than happy to do it. I never once felt rushed. I went with the organic lemon + mint leaf pedicure $45 and the $30 mani (I can't remember the name) both were exactly what I was wanting (and needed). I'm 38 weeks pregnant and wanted a real spa experience and they delivered. Hot stones, sugar scrubs, hot towels, and massage were all included. Plus, they use the best smelling lotions and essential oils. I wish I would've gotten the names of my nail techs. They were wonderful. The spa is also decorated very cute and is one of the cleanest I've ever been to. All the more reasons to love it, which is why I will definitely be returning. I also noticed the chairs for the pedicure area, were just regular chairs. They're pretty, but I don't think they have massagers in them. They handed me a board of different color nail polishes to choose from. I chose a peach color with some sparkle in it. The color on my nails doesn't look anything like what I had selected. Used to love this place but recently they have gone down hill. Last 3 times I had to wait awhile despite making an appointment more than 5 days in advance. Poor job on dip when I called to explain how terrible it looked after only a few days, they said it was a bad batch and won't use that vendor again. Offered me no discount or anything. I said ok and still booked another appt for today which booked 4 days in advance and when I got there, no record of my appt and told me they were so backed up no idea on how much longer it would be. I expressed my disappointment and she said give her 15 to 20 minutes to figure it out. During this time I called another nail salon and got in right away. It was so bad that I took them off after a few days because I couldn't deal with how my nails looked. It was my fault that I didn't say anything to her right after she did them but I was waiting to see if she was still gonna improve on them. She didn't. By that time I was already in there for 2 hrs so I just left. Also, my bill came out to $50+ dollars. This place is truly AMAZING! They give u a hot stone massage along with you service (ex. mani / pedi) & spend more time than other salons to make sure u get your monies worth. I also love the smell of this place, they allow you to pick a specific herb with your treatment, such as rosemary, eucalyptus, lavender etc. which takes the experience to another level. Unlike other salons that smell like chlorine and chemicals, this place smells great and the waterfall and music are welcoming. This place is absolutely wonderful. I've had a lot of pedicures & manicures, and I can honestly say that this place is the best on every level. When you walk in, you don't smell chemicals... you smell lavender and eucalyptus. The check in process is easy and within minutes I was sitting in a big comfy chair, relaxing. Not the typical massage chair with plastic tub, but a big cozy easy chair with a copper basin with cucumber slices for my feet to soak. I got the cucumber manicure and pedicure. The tools came in a sterile pack, she didn't skimp on the massage (it was divine), and Amy was super professional and sweet. I tend to carry stress and she reminded me to relax as she was working on my feet... I realized I was totally tense! She really did help me to to enjoy the experience to its fullest extent. In fact, everyone who works here is incredibly attentive & kind. I noticed that every employee introduced themselves and shook hands with their client before proceeding. I've never seen that in a nail salon before! The entire time it felt like a healing, relaxing luxury spa, rather than a typical loud, busy, stinky salon experience. I appreciated the quiet and an environment conducive to self-care. I understand this place is relatively new, but I have no doubt that they will be very successful. This is certainly the nicest nail salon I've ever been to. It smells wonderfully of essential oils instead of acetone. They take care to keep it very clean and have all the little touches to make it more elegant. For instance, the chairs are individual easy chairs instead of the fake leather massage chairs you see at most salons. What was most interesting to me was that I could custom pick the herbs and essential oils used for my pedi. They have an apothecary table full of dried herbs and they use these blended with oil for the services. It was fun being able to pick what I liked. They also use fresh cutting supplies for every service that are santized and packed fresh for each service. It helps to know they stay so clean. The only reason I did not give 5 starts is because of the selection of the colors and how the color chipped pretty quickly. They use special organic nail color, so I know that's why the selection is less. However, it is a bummer that my pedicure started to chip after only one week. Usually when I get pedis using OPI brand, it lasts much longer. However, this is a very fine salon and I will be taking out of town visitors and special guests on their birthdays because it is a very lovely experience! read more

I've been a Yelp member for longest time, and I'm still waiting for Yelp to come up with the "half star" option lol. I'd actually rate this place 3.5 stars. The Staff was great no doubt, but there were some "critical" elements that made my rating for this place go down from a 4. First of all, this is by far the cutest nail salon I've ever been to! The interior decor is so pretty, the place is very clean and on top of that, you have countless options for nail color. Don't let the nail colors on the shelves near the entrance fool you--there's way more selections especially when you're looking at their multitude of nail swatches. What's even crazier is that if you can't find a certain color you're looking for, they have this neat machine that can custom-make the color for you...what a trip lol. Anyway, I came here with my husband and my sister-in-law to get pedicures. Being the bougie man my husband is, of course he opts for the more expensive pedicure treatment (the Vino Wine treatment--feet soaked in red wine with herbs, plus massages, a scrub, and even a paraffin treatment); my sister in law and I opted for the lemon and mint treatment which didn't include the back massage or paraffin. The staff got started on my husband right away, while my sister and I were stuck waiting for our nail techs--they came 20 minutes late unfortunately, but luckily there wasn't a mass of people coming in just yet. We were offered some tea while we waited which was nice. I'll admit, this is the first place I've been to where there's more than one male working as a nail tech. Totally nothing wrong with that, it just caught me by surprise hehe. Anyway, so me and my sister's techs were males--my sister's nail tech did a good job according to her. My nail guy did a good job too in terms of doing the leg scrubs, cleaning/trimming my nails and painting my nails, but...as I stated earlier, I requested for the lemon and mint treatment--in his tray of tools and such needed for this pedicure, he forgot to put the lemon, mint, and herbs in the water, so basically my foot was just soaking in warm water the whole time :I During the pedicure, he was supposed to wrap both of my legs with a hot towel. Instead, he just took a hot towel, and placed it on top of my legs and left shortly to go help another customer. I looked at my husband's and sister's legs, they totally had their legs wrapped...ughh...whatever lol... Anyway, it was a nice experience for the most part.
