What a cute nail shop!!!! I'm in love, mostly with the customer service (and of course my pedi/mani). I've never talked so much while being pampered, but it was such great convo! Tony handled my pedi and it, and he, were so amazing and so sweet! My girl Tran handled my manii and she was amazing too! We all chatted do much and I just really enjoyed this shop! It's gorgeously decorated inside and I can't wait to come back again! I even chatted with the owner, who is a bombshell and sooooo sweet and helpful! Definitely worth checking out. A long time favorite, first time review! I love coming here when I'm looking to be pampered in a cute spot. Located across from the Charlotte Convention Center on the edge of uptown sits this very well decorated nail salon. They also have a location in South End, though I've never visited that one before. They offer beverages while you're pampered ranging from water to white or red wine. They usually have some pretty interesting things playing on their two large Roku TVs, mostly Netflix. Sometimes they'll have music playing; if they're not busy you can usually request whatever you want to hear! The staff is really cool here. They have a wide variety of nail colors from regular polish, gel polish and SNS. They really take their time when doing your nails and are very knowledgeable about nail health. This is the healthiest my nails have ever looked! One thing I will say is that there's a lot of nail techs rotating in this salon, thankfully when mine left I ended up in the hands of an even better one. It can be a little alarming falling in love with your nail tech and then not seeing their name to select the next time you try to book. I'm not too privy on what the situations are that causes the high turnover rate, I haven't noticed anything amiss. They also validate parking! Just ask the front desk whenever you're checking out for the validation slips. Just make sure you park on the second level of their garage! Not the Whole Foods parking lot. read more

Sort of disappointing experience. They were able to make a same day appointment for a friend and I, which was apparently a big ask for a weekend (SO many shops in Charlotte are walk in only on the weekend with 3+ hour waits). However there was some confusion, even though I was very clear on the phone and the receptionist even clarified. My friend wanted a mani/pedi and I just wanted a gel mani. I ended up waiting about 35 minutes after our appointment time, but my friend was able to be taken immediately. They did apologize for the confusion and I clarified that I would be done in 45 minutes since we had something scheduled after that. They confirmed they would be okay however it was down to the last second. Personally, I think a pedi without a massage chair is only half a pedicure, but aesthetically the green booth seat is cuter, and I wasn't the one getting the pedi. I did see that they lined the pedicure foot baths. The manicure stations are situated so you have to sit on tall chairs/stools, I personally don't like these as they make my legs fall asleep, and the chairs themselves were quite beat up (leather cracking/ripping), it was also QUITE warm in the shop. I don't know how clean the tools are here, unfortunately. The towel laid out for me was stained, and I only saw the tools being wiped with alcohol, and the files are definitely reused. My friend's nail tech was kind of grumpy, especially when she asked for her nails to be shaped/filed a little more, and pointed out some missed cuticles to be clipped. They also had her get down from the stool with wet toenails to wash her hands at one point (something I was not asked to do) and since stools are hard to climb back on to she smudged her polish and her nail tech was PISSED (threw up her hands, rolled her eyes, the whole bit). She fixed the polish color but didn't even put another layer of topcoat on. On the other hand my nail tech was SUPER nice and really friendly (blonde, petite, didn't catch her name). She did a fantastic job shaping my nails and cleaning up my cuticles. I have shorter nails and I'm pretty hand on my hands but she made them look so nice!! She was really precise with the polish application as well, cleaning it up before it went under the light. She even checked in after two coats because my polish was kind of sheer to see if I wanted a third coat of color. She was really understanding that we were trying to make our next activity and got my manicure done just in time without sacrificing the quality of the work. I wish I'd gotten her name because she deserves the recognition! Even though this is probably the best my nails have ever looked after a manicure, overall I cannot recommend the salon as a whole. read more

Meticulous and thorough care for my pedicure at Cachet. I've had some very short and bad experiences getting a pedicure in the past. I felt some of the places thought because I was a man I didn't know how a pedicure treatment was supposed to go and they would finish in about fifteen minutes. Luckily, that was the exact opposite at Cachet. My pedicurist, Alondra really went above and beyond and my feet felt like I was walking on air after it was completed. I will 100% be back and make sure Alondra is there to take great care of me again. read more

I went here on Friday and by Tuesday 3 of my nails had popped off. I got acrylics and SNS powder and this has NEVER happened before. My friend got a regular pedicure and it took 2 hours... she was unable to get a manicure because we ran out of time. The staff here were nice but unfortunately the services provided did not meet expectations at all. I will not be going back here - not even to try and fix the current state of my nails. read more

I tried this place out recently as it is in my apartment building which is super convenient. My nails came out looking okay but the whole experience was just slightly uncomfortable. She removed my gel manicure completely with an electronic file, no soaking, which is terrible for my nails. The whole place was a mess, there were powered containers and tools and employee's personal items everywhere, which leads me to doubt the overall cleanliness of the services they are offering. read more

My grey + white ombré ended up looking like grey with French tips. The shaping is horrible, my nails are inconsistent lengths, and the technician left the hardened dip powder on the sides of my fingers and cuticles. What is worse is they allowed a technician who didn't have experience do the service I requested. I spent 2.5 hours on a subpar nail removal and dip. The receptionist gave me the wrong price on the phone. When I called to ask price for SNS manicure, I was told it's $45. After I went there two days later for the service, they charged me $55! They fooled me and charged $10 extra just to push back and trim the cuticles. So deceiving! read more

Came in for a scheduled service and the staff made me wait after others with no appointment. Usually really accommodating, but due to new staff slight confusion. I used a gift card that was given as a Christmas and was told it had to be used at the location purchased. However there is nothing stating that it has to be using a specific location. Ordinarily I do not leave reviews but today it was just one thing after another and I actually like this salon I really liked the young lady that gave me my service because she doesn't amazing job and today for me was a day that I set aside to just do self care and so this was not the way I wanted to start my day. I really hope that the management does a better job of communicating policy as well as when situations happen may be compensating with a discount or some form of gracious behavior to let customers know that you are glad that they continue to choose your shop for services. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. I booked an appointment for a French ombré on my nails & a pedicure. When I got there they acted like they didn't know who I was or what appointment I was talking about. Once I was finally sat with a nail tech, I asked her if she could do an ombré French tip on my nails she told me yes & that was a lie. My nails looked so bad. She didn't even finish one of my hands. When I left I was so upset I had to reach out to the manager myself. Worst pedicure I've ever received. Don't waste your money here. No massage chairs. Minimal foot massage, no hot wax, and the technician tried 3 times to get the polish right and they still look bad.
