Disgusting. We had this ordered for a company luncheon and everything besides the bland chicken was disgusting. Let's start with the chicken. Very bland and it was not crunchy at all. The ravioli were still frozen in the center. How hard is it to warm up frozen food. The potato salad looked like baby sick. Only a handful of people ate it and even the ones who ventured said it tasted the way it looked. I passed by this place for decades and always wondered if it was good. Ordered on Yelp/ grub hub & paid about $45 for 12 piece, a quart of spaghetti & garlic bread. It said about 45 min. No problem, do some shopping at target and then headed over to pick up. Time came & went inside for pick up. A few people hanging around inside waiting, a Young teenager taking orders. I talked to him, he ran to back to coworkers to check. Order still not ready. Waited indoors thinking it would be next. Then another teen came out & start telling coworker they are out of spaghetti sauce. So one by one, they are calling names for refunds or substitutions. After a bit I talked to him & asked was my order ok since I placed it hour ago. He said yes. So another 15 -20 min Go by. I ask again, is my order ready? Still no. After 1hr and 35 minutes he hands me my order. I didn't check til in the car driving, no spaghetti. I call no answer, make a u-turn to talk to them & was told I was substituted fries which I didn't ask for, would of been better potato salad or dessert or something I chose. Leave again after almost 2 hours. Get home & it's regular French bread. Not sliced garlic bread. Ugh! At least the chicken was good, crunchy and lots of meat. Been passing by this place for my entire life, finally bought something from here. We got the 4 piece chicken dinner. The seasoning is different from what you'd expect. The price was okay, around $15. I would skip the spaghetti, my brother said it tastes like school lunch spaghetti. But the bread was good. The chicken is crispy on the outside and it isn't dry. Pretty solid fried chicken. I actually discovered it while walking at the park nearby, there was this amazing fried chicken smell and it lead me to Caesar's. In terms of the chicken; its not a crazy variety of flavors place like Wingstop and it's not a super spiced up chicken like Popeyes. It sort of reminds me of a good old plain textbook home cooked fried chicken which isn't a bad thing at all. The flavors weren't super powerful but they weren't bland either it was kinda well balanced. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly like very pretty and juicy white meat once you bite into that delicious breading. The spaghetti was ok, I got it because I saw a lot of reviews on it. But for me it wasn't anything special. It tasted more like... if you had a basic cup of chili and threw some pasta in. In the end it's a great fried chicken experience I'd definitely come back especially if they keep tempting me with that smell when I'm walking my dog at the park! read more

I could honestly say I grew up on Caesar's Chicken. My mom would always get it for dinner and the catering for special occasions. It was the combination of the spaghetti, bread and chicken that was the best. I don't know what it is, but everyone remembers the crumbs at the bottom of the box that were good to pick at. Sometimes, I would throw in a pint of the ravioli to mix things up. Flash forward, it is a different owner, but the same chicken. Ever since the first time I passed by Caesar's Chicken, its mangy exterior and small building size has always eluded to me something "off" about the place. Cynical me thought it was some money laundering thing with a chicken being the front, hence the SO's and my nickname for it: Chicken Trap House lmao After hundreds of times passing by on Hesperian, we finally made a decision to try the place out and then make a more educated judgment. Well, it's got its pro, but it's also got them cons. Pro: 1. Their main attraction - the chicken - is pretty damn good. We both ordered a 4-pc dinner box that comes with a couple of sides, and the chicken was definitely the star (I guess, since the sides were duds). Chicken is juicy and tender, and their batter blend is well-seasoned. Cons: 1. We were able to try their spaghetti, potato salad, raviolis, and garlic bread... and honestly, these tasted like they came out of a can. Raviolis definitely had that Chef Boyardee texture... yikes. Garlic bread was flavorless and soggy. Potato salad tasted like it came from a package and not home-made. 2. We called in our order at about 5:25PM, and the nice dude on the phone told us it'll be ready in 30 mins. Perfect! Except when we arrived at 6PM, we still waited an extra 25 minutes before getting our food. So we waited an hour for our meal. Pretty ridiculous. I also saw some people waiting that were getting antsy as well. Overall, I'm glad we were able to finally try Caesar's Ch(icken)rap House. Hands down my sons favorite fried chicken spot! I've been a customer since 2008 we got a couple of trays for my first born's baby shower, guess he loved it since the womb. The chicken is fried to perfection without any excess oil drip which we love. When you bite into the chicken's crispy skin it's not only seasoned perfectly, but it's also remarkably juicy on the inside. The staff is young, and friendly. I have been going there for 55 years. Last couple times. I've been very bad experience. Last time I went in. They left a whole order out and I drove all the way back to Alameda and had no food today I went there and check my order before I left and the girl working. But on this cold afternoon, there was a sudden craving for fried chicken and I was in the area trying to find some good Christmas clearance at Target so I took a chance. Everything seemed the same, but the menu had shrunk. It's pretty simple now with either options for meals, just chicken, and sides. The meal had better chicken portions but it also came with spaghetti ad garlic bread. I was there just for chicken so decided on the 10 piece a little under 20 dollars before tax. They take credit card and cash here, and you can also order ahead online to not have to wait. I was pretty surprised by the wait time because the chicken was done in about 10 minutes! There was a couple other people waiting around inside, and we all got our food around the same time (we all ordered around the same time, too). The interior is clean. Counter space and two tables with chairs that look like it's really just for waiting and not eat in. No drive though, but it is more of a to go place as most of Yelpers have mentioned. The chicken was super juicy and the flavors were still there. I actually think it tasted better than before, but it has been a while. The skin was crispy and thin; the insides were fully cooked! It came with wings, breasts, and drumsticks! It's not Popeyes (which is down the street) cheap, but you got to support your local business and Caesar's Chicken is no different! read more

I really wanted to like this place more. We drive by here all the time and I always wanted to try their food. We finally caved in and ordered their 3 piece movie box with spaghetti and ravioli. The chicken was okay. I don't think I would return for the chicken unless they add more spices/ seasonings. The skin had a good crisp to it but was lacking some flavor. Now onto the spaghetti and ravioli. It was very basic and simple but I think that's why I liked it. Both pastas had a simple tomato sauce with ground beef and it was interesting- I wanted more. Their service was good. Ordered over the phone and didn't feel rushed like other places when ordering take out over the phone. The guy at the counter was also nice. I drive all the way from Oakland to get this fire fried chicken. I always order 4 whole wings and fries and a peach Snapple and it NEVER disappoints. I sit in the parking lot and it eat it fresh out the brown paper bag. It's fried perfectly crispy and seasoned to perfection. I rarely leave reviews however after the service I received today a review is warranted. My husband called at 12:27 to place an order. The phone was answered and he was told to hold the line. The cashier, Crystal placed him on hold and after ten minutes she never returned. Upon arriving at 12:47 my husband was still on hold. I walked in the restaurant and the lobby was empty with no cars in the parking lot. I observed the cashier in the back, she didn't appear to be working. I had to tell her the phone line is busy and you need to hung up the line as my husband is still waiting. Her response was oh ok. They didn't appear business at all to wait 20 minutes. I left without placing an order based on her responses. I refuse to spend my money at any establishment with poor service. Got there and young boy delivering orders said it would take a few mins for order to be ready. When he handed me my food, I could tell by his behavior that something wasn't right. Checked order in car and found movie box ordered from their menu description was supposed to have 2 thighs and 1 leg - mine had 2 legs and 1 thigh - both orders. Returned to counter with food and explained problem. Instead of simply replacing 1 leg with 1 thigh in each order he told me it would take at least 15 minutes to correct order - I said okay. I wanted what I paid for. He took food behind wall and I sat there and watched others come in and pick up food, order food and get it and watched cook frying chicken but my order wasn't simply corrected. I waited the 15 mins. and when asked about food young boy said by his watch it wasn't 15 mins. yet. I don't know why I was the victim of this behavior. He has to be related to the owner. The other 2 workers had to be in on this. When I got home, I couldn't be sure how my food was handled when out of my sight so I threw everything away $43.63 of senior's $$ gone because I was scared to eat it. Now its way better than KFC I mean what isnt, lol. Better then Popeyes, very close. The chicken is moist and the breading is just right. 30 pieces of tasty wings for $25 great deal. U can say Im a fan. I took a photo of the figurines behind the counter. It adds some uniqueness to the dump. I mean hole in the walls are the best spots to eat. Wow what a huge let down. Like finding someone on Tinder going onto a date to find out it's not the person you met online. I remember they had another location in the South Hayward. The chicken back then was way more better. Trying to relive some memories over 20 years ago. By having some fried chicken and the raviolis were awful. First off from what I remembered the chicken was marinated. Now the chicken is flavorless. They changed the oil they used. Oil is everything including adding more flavor. Making my car stink with the aromas. But that didn't happen. The raviolis the sauce could've used more onions and garlic from what I remembered. The filling of the raviolis weren't mushy like it was over 20 years ago. They gave me plain sourdough bread. I should've gotten garlic bread instead. This place wasn't worth my time and energy anymore. The prices didn't reflect the product that was being put out. Oh yeah the phone number they posted. Does not work. That's poor customer service. If the number doesn't work. Then go somewhere else. Because chances are their food is pretty crappy. They force you to show up in person to buy crappy food.
