We arrived just before the restaurant opened, where there was a healthy number of people waiting outside the door. As we entered, the look and feel of it all harkened back to a classical design in a nostalgic way, like before the turn of the century. Carpeted floors, bright ceiling lights against an overall dim palette trending towards brown, a bar area, a small buffet near the center, and of course the grill at the corner. The experience here is dependent on the number of folks standing in line, and because of the onrush when the restaurant opened, there was a waiting period of sometime as much as 20 people between two guys at the grill. Selection was favorably varied and always restocked, offering sliced meats like chicken, beef, pork, and lamb along with noodles, cucumbers, tofu, bok choy, carrots, mushrooms, eggs, and more. Their sauce selections came with recommended recipes, and after grilling you have option of topping of your plate with lemon juice and sesame seeds. Food quality satisfied most of us especially those who opted for another trip to the grill. As for the buffet section, I liked the prawn chips and sesame balls. Service was good even when the place got packed.

My go-to spot in the area! The food quality is so much better then other fast food and mall food court Mongolian bbq's. The atmosphere is relaxed and neither too casual nor too formal. I especially love the selection of vegetables like water chestnut and baby corn that most places don't offer. I will be coming back soon with friends! Thank you especially to the great staff.

Shoutout to my pastor & his wife for telling me about this place. We went on a Saturday for dinner, not knowing that the restaurant opens at 5:15pm! There were already large parties ahead but they seated us right away because we were a party of 2. Jeffrey greeted us kindly & gave us the run down of how this place worked and next steps in getting the full experience! He was very kind and made sure we were well taken care of. There was quite a bit of options and variety for meats and veggies. Food was very fresh and delicious! They had a variety of sauces and had pre-made recipes that people could use. the way the meat/veggies/sauces cooked on the hot top and all the flavors combined with the noodles was amazing. The eggrolls were crispy and hot dipped in the spicy mustard is the best! My boyfriend and I felt very confident we were going in for round two, but we were so full. My favorite of the desserts was the white coconut jell-o and the pink tapioca pudding. DEFINITELY know now to come early and make room for seconds! We will be coming back in the future.

I recently tried Caesars Mongolian Barbecue and it's a great spot if you're craving all-you-can-eat Mongolian BBQ. The pricing is pretty reasonable for AYCE -- $19.99 for weekday lunch, $21.99 for weekend lunch, and $24.99 for weekend dinner. The setup is simple: grab a bowl and load it up with all the meats, veggies, and sauces you want. The noodle station has a good selection of sliced meats and tons of fresh vegetables. My go-to combo was lots of beef with carrots, celery, cabbage, onions, and broccoli. After you pick your sauces, the chefs cook everything fresh on the big grill right in front of you, and the noodles come out super flavorful and honestly pretty addicting. There's also a small buffet section with hot items like fried rice and egg rolls, which is nice to snack on while waiting for your noodles. Since it's AYCE, my biggest tip is don't fill up on your first bowl because you'll definitely want to go back for round two. Overall a fun, casual spot if you're in the mood for customizable noodles and big portions.

Mongolian BBQ is a unique experience that I enjoy. There's something satisfying about expertly piling up meats and veggies in small bowls so that they can grill it for you on a super-hot flat top. Caesar's Mongolian BBQ is located on Del Amo and Pioneer in Cerritos and they're one of the best spots for this type of experience. The mall experience (Great Khan's) does not compare. Meats (beef, chicken, lamb, and pork) are frozen and sliced thin, which crisps up nicely on the plancha. The veggies are chopped into bite sized pieces that roast up instantaneously on the grill. You can load up on aromatics and sauce to concentrate the flavors that you want. Then you could put as much noodles as you want. Some people pile the noodles high; however, I prefer to focus on the veggies and meats instead. I don't recommend the rice as it was pretty overcooked; however, they do have steamed buns that they make to order and they're delicious, but they have an extra charge for that. In addition to the main entree, I love getting their egg drop soup, which tasted of umami and white pepper and their veggie egg rolls with hot mustard and sweet and sour sauce. For $25, I think it's a fair price for a very filling dinner. I also like that you can take over some of your leftovers for a small surcharge. This is not really my wife's cup of tea, so I come here alone when I do come; however, it really does the job when I'm craving Mongolian BBQ. One may ask if, for the stir fry meat/veggie experience, if it would be better to choose Thai or Chinese instead? Nine out of ten times, I'd agree with that; however, I'm glad that today was the day I chose Mongolian.

Caesar's is a family favorite. Best sit down Mongolian bbq restaurant in the area. This place has been around for decades. Fresh meat and veggie choices with a variety of sauce options. Servers are kind and attentive. Prices are fair. The ingredient bar is constantly being cleaned and tidied up. The servers are paying attention to the ingredients containers. Grill chefs clean the grill for allergies and spicy sensitivities. Both kids and adults enjoy the meal! The sesame bread is no longer served.

Met a couple friends here for lunch on a Sunday. Plenty of parking and the place had a steady flow. There is a small section for appetizers, soup and sauces. There is a separate section for the meats (chicken, pork and beef are included. $2 extra for a bowl Of lamb), veggies, noodles and the different sauces at the end. The cooks are very efficient and keep the line moving. There is a small disruption in their flow when a to-go is placed in front of the line. But it's worth the wait. The ingredients are fresh. You can order steamed rice at the table. There is jello and oranges for dessert. It was $84 with soft drinks for our table of 3. I would go back. They serve alcohol and have a restroom. The servers check on your often to ensure you don't need anything. Thanks for a great meal, Caesar's team!

Caesar's was easily one of my favorite Mongolian places to visit. I love how many options there are for meat: chicken, beef, pork, and lamb (weekend). Their veggie and sauce options are also quite extensive. I have been disappointed to visit the last few times due to the time I waited in line to have my food cooked. There's only one grill with two workers who are cooking nonstop. When you visit, go only when your appetite is beginning to grow because you will spend 18-22 minutes waiting for your food to be cooked. Once it's cooked, it's a great experience! I also realized a few times that the "dessert" station is often left unattended and needs refills. Besides the wait, the rest of the service is great. Their bread is delicious and the speed to bring your refills is pretty speedy. Though the floor was carpet, it was cleaned with no visual stains on the ground

We have enjoyed this restaurant for many years, since the original owners opened it. Over the years it has been modernized a bit and the buffet of traditional hot Chinese dishes removed, but the quality and enjoyment factor is still there! I most love that I can control the amount of salt/sauce that goes into my stir-fry, as well as choose from an abundance of fresh vegetables and thin sliced, ice cold meats. There are spicy and mild soy based sauces, garlic, ginger, and oils, and we try different combos each time just for fun! From the buffet, their flower drop soup is so comforting and loaded with vegetables, the egg rolls hot and crisp with a tasty veggie filling, the kimchee perfectly spicy, and the cucumber salad slightly sweet and vinegary. I got a very small bowl of white rice to mix in this visit, and my hubby tried the pineapple fried rice but couldn't detect any pineapple. He loves the strawberry tapioca dessert tho! They don't vary these item. It would be nice to see something new added occasionally, but the stir fry is still the star. The restaurant was fairly busy for a Monday night - always good to see. The stir fry chefs work like crazy and it's always great to watch your meal prepared. I went through the line twice; the first time I put my meat and veggies in one bowl, as usual. The bowl is small though and does not hold much. People pile it sooo high with the noodles, and many do two bowls, which is the limit of what you can bring to be cooked at a time. We never get the noodles, so our meat and veg cook down a lot. We always have to make a second trip. The next time I did try two bowls- mostly meat in one and mostly veggies in the other. My cooked plate ended up much more substantial, so I was very full. The servers are attentive and pleasant. Usually we get tea but this time we just had water, which came with lemons. They do have a bar for those who want alcohol, and a wine rack as well. Our fortune cookies ended the meal. We love to support this place and happy it's as good as ever!

This was the first time I had this type of food and it was delicious! You can get as much meat, veggies, noodles, and fried rice as you'd like. I followed the sauce guide on the sign above the sauces, but you can customize however you'd like. Then you bring your food to the cooks who grill it excellently. The cooks clean the grill every ~8 guests, but if you have allergies, they'll clean it for you immediately. The waiters were attentive and helped our large party get seated, even when more people came than were on our reservation. The restaurant was not too loud. In 2026, $24.99 per person is a good value. read more

This was the first time we have gone to Mongolian barbecue and we loved it. I have driven by 1 million times and never have I thought to come here we walked in at 5:05 which they open at five. The service was amazing and when they found out, it was our first time They took us around and showed us what to do. She came by a couple times to see if we were OK. It's a big space with a lot of different options. We will definitely come again. Well worth the price. read more

The bf and I decided to get Mongolian Bbq, so I went to Yelp and found this place. We drove from Anaheim and realized it wasn't too far from our friends' place which made it even more appealing besides seeing the high rating. It's located in a shopping plaza, with tons of parking. The restaurant itself is nice and roomy. The food station had several different options and the employee kept coming over to it to clean and refill. Food was good! We went around 7:30 and it wasn't crowded. Someone was always coming by to check in on us. Would definitely come back. read more

Did a solo date at Caesar's Mongolian Bar-B-Q and I will definitely be back! As soon as I walked in I was greeted ever so kindly, seated immediately and shown how everything worked. My food was really good, they have these little fried pockets that I believe might be wonton wrappers and they were so crunchy and good!!! One of my lovely servers let me know their Lychee Martini was a fan favorite and I can see why!! It was so good!! I'll definitely be back for the Yuzu martini ;)!! Everyone was so nice and attentive. I'll definitely be back for more solo dates but also with family!! read more

The environment was extremely chaotic.. the people were ruthless when navigating to get their food and literally shoved my grandma. Everything was cross contaminated and very unclean.. sauce, noodles, and veggies were all on the counter and floor. It was extremely claustrophobic and hard to maneuver around the place... some dude sneezed all over the egg rolls and didn't cover his nose & mouth... The food was absolutely tasteless, the noddles were chewy, the veggies weren't cooked all the way, the pineapple and water chestnuts were canned, the veggies and meats were frozen and had no flavor. For 3 people it came out to $100 bucks... the only positive thing was the customer service. We will not be back. read more

food was so delicious!! was intrigued when i heard there was an all you can eat mongolian spot and thought it was too good be true; you're able to select all your veggies and meat and they cook it right in front of you. there is a super helpful sauce guide that allows you to make your sauces as well. the servers are super nice and very attentive making it a very welcoming environment. will definitely be coming back here any time i'm craving any mongolian bbq! read more

This Restaurant is one of our favorites!!! My Fiancé and I live in Newport Beach,,, and we'll make the trip traffic or no traffic... We are always greeted as family and treated like family as well... The Cook is PHENOMENAL ,,, and I'd like to give a "HUGE" Shout-Out to our waitress Gianna,,, shes so sweet & puts a smile on your face :) She definitely needs to be "Employee Of The Month" along with her very own Parking Spot!!! My family and I have been coming to Caesars Mongolian BBQ for years and it never disappoints. The prices are super reasonable for all you can eat, especially with how customizable everything is. I was so excited to finally bring my boyfriend here and he loved it too! He even went back for seconds just to make a bowl full of meat and veggies, which is awesome that you can do. I will say the $3.50 charge for the tiny to-go box feels a little crazy lol, but honestly if you pack it right you can probably fit a lot in there. Where there's a will, there's a way. Also, our servers were amazing and made the experience even better. Definitely one of our longtime favorite spots! read more

Service - you basically create your main meal yourself by curating your own plate of food. But the cooks are super speedy and efficient and the servers are great at clearing dishes and serving drinks. Here's how it works: You are allowed max two empty bowls to fill up. You travel along a long bar prep area with raw proteins, various veggies and tofu, and lots of different sauces. I recommend you fill up one empty bowl with all the raw proteins and sauce it. Then the other bowl with the veggies and noodles and sauce to maximize the end results! They have tons of fresh veggies and one type of noodle (chow mein style). It's a delicious selection. There are tons of sauces to choose from and they provide written recommendations of different combos. Then you take your bowls to the line where they cook it. They have two cooks and one giant heating surface. They walk around in a circle and swish your food around to cook it on the giant heater. It's fun to watch them dump your bowls in a heap and watch them cook down into a delicious meal. Lunch time has no "pocket bread". That is available at dinner. It takes 15 mins to cook it so order it with your server as soon as you sit down. You won't regret it; they are sooooo good. There's also a seperate bar area that has jello and desserts, soup, wontons. All self serve. It's all you can eat so you can make yourself another plate. Please do not waste food and only make what you can eat. It's fast, friendly, yummy. Highly recommend. read more

I am a big Mongolian barbecue fan and anyone who loves Mongolian knows how hard it is to find a solid spot. They are rare and many fall short on fresh ingredients and sauce variety. Caesar's stands out. They offer a full restaurant vibe with an open buffet setup that lets you build your bowl exactly how you want it. The ingredients look fresh and the sauce selection is much better than what you see at most places. They also offer appetizers included with the meal like egg drop soup, rice, crunchy wontons, jello, and fruit which makes the meal feel complete. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the service is consistently good. I live in Huntington Beach and still make the drive because this place is worth it. I have brought several friends here and they all agree that it is one of the best Mongolian barbecue spots in the local area. Easy recommendation if you are craving Mongolian. read more

This place has been around since I can remember but I haven't been in YEARS. Saw a reel on Instagram and it looked pretty good so came to check it out. I think the current owner took over a few years ago, so I don't know what it was like before but it's quite good now. The ingredients are fresh and constantly being refilled. The hot/fresh food bar is simple but good- I really liked the pineapple fried rice. The staff are constantly walking around and making sure things are clean, refilled, etc. with a smile on their face. Prices are also very reasonable and you will leave stuffed. Definitely get the sesame pockets- they come out hot and flaky, and are perfect for filling like a pita. Love supporting family owned businesses like this :) read more

Great experience! You choose fresh and raw food from a wide selection, fill two bowls, add sauces, and take them to the grill, where you watch the cooks grill your dinner. Rice is served at your table. Wine and sake are available. The food is delicious, because you choose what you want. The restaurant is lovely, service is efficient and pleasant. If you're looking for something good and fresh you definitely need to try this place. This is our second visit and we will be back. All you can eat with a good variety of meat and veggie options plus they have tofu which is a plus for me. The workers are very helpful and pleasant, they are attentive and. So delicious! You get to decide what you want for meat and vegetables as well as how mild or spicy you want! The staff is very nice and seat you quickly. They take your drink order and have it on your table when you get back! It is very efficient. The restaurant is nicely decorated. The menu and prices change for dinner. Disappointment with Service at Ceasars Mongolian I feel compelled to share my deep frustration regarding the service at Ceasars Mongolian BBQ. It's truly disheartening to see a restaurant I've loved for over three decades delivering such a disappointing experience. Since 1990, I have cherished the food and camaraderie at Ceasars, where the all-you-can-eat buffet has always been a highlight. But last Saturday, when my wife and I took our family of six for dinner, the service was shockingly inadequate. Despite the expected Saturday rush, I couldn't believe that they only had one side of the buffet line open. This not only made the line unbearably long but also set the stage for a frustrating evening. The other side was reserved solely for take-out orders. To add insult to injury, just 20 minutes after opening, they sent one of the cooks off to exclusively focus on take-out--which meant that only one cook was left to serve all the hungry patrons inside. I saw people waiting a staggering 45 minutes for their food! And if you dared to go back for seconds, brace yourself for another 45-minute wait. This is unacceptable, especially given the considerable price we pay for an all-you-can-eat experience. No restaurant should make its customers wait so long for their meals. It's infuriating that they would prioritize take-out orders over in-house diners. I understand Saturdays are busy, but they must address this issue immediately. It feels almost intentional as if they want to deter people from going back for seconds to maximize their profits. Reflecting on my 25 years of loyalty to Ceasars, it's hard to fathom how I hadn't experienced a Saturday dinner until now. I don't know how many owners have been through since I started coming here, but the current management truly needs to rethink their approach to customer service. I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I recently received at your restaurant. On 07-10-2023 I visited this location for the first time. I approached an employee to request a box to take my left overs home. I asked for a medium-sized box and the employee handed me a small box, clearly insufficient for my needs. When I explained that I needed a larger box, the employee informed me that I would need to pay an additional $3 for another small box I was surprised to hear that I would have to pay extra for an appropriately sized box, as this is not typical practice in my experience. The employee's dismissive response and refusal to provide a box that met my needs, without additional charges, reflects poorly on your business. Customer service should involve flexibility, problem-solving and a willingness to accommodate reasonable requests. Instead, I felt that my needs were not considered a priority and that maximizing revenue took precedence over providing good customer service. I appreciate that running a business involves managing costs. However, nickel-and-diming customers for basic service will only damage customer loyalty and satisfaction in the long run. I hope you will consider this feedback and look for ways to improve the customer service culture at your restaurant . I recently had the chance to try Caesar's Mongolian BBQ, and while the restaurant itself has a nice ambiance, the food left much to be desired. I was really looking forward to a great meal, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. First off, the meat was way too thin compared to what I've had at other Mongolian BBQ places. When the cooks prepared it, the meat disintegrated into tiny bits that resembled more of a hamburger patty than anything else. It was a frustrating sight, and to make matters worse, the vegetables didn't seem to cook properly at all; they were left in large, raw chunks while the meat practically vanished. Adding insult to injury, I was shocked to find out that not only do they charge for the pocket biscuits (that are typically complimentary at other Mongolian BBQ restaurants) but it would also take an additional 15 minutes. It felt a bit ridiculous to pay extra for something that should be a standard part of the meal. Overall, I left feeling hungry and dissatisfied, which is never a good sign after dining out. I was really hoping for a hearty meal, but instead, I got a lackluster experience. Caesar's Mongolian Bar-B-Q in Cerritos is one of those hidden gems you're glad you found. What makes this spot awesome is that it's self-serve, you get to load up your own bowl with meats, noodles, veggies, and sauces just how you like it, then hand it over to the cooks who grill it up right in front of you. It's unlimited visits to the chef, which is dangerous in the best way, but honestly I usually tap out at two plates (lol). Everything tastes fresh, the flavors come out perfect, and it's fun being able to customize every plate differently. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the overall vibe is casual and welcoming. Whether you're hungry for a big meal or just want that classic Mongolian BBQ experience, Caesar's hits the spot every time. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! read more

Perfect spot for lunch or dinner. I also love supporting a local family business, and I'm always impressed by how cohesively everyone works here--they really don't miss a beat. It gets jam-packed on weekends, like today, but it's worth the wait. The staff are always friendly, professional, and have such a calm demeanor, even when they're busy. Even the cooks have a bright and welcoming attitude toward customers. They also do a great job keeping everything clean, including the bathrooms. Love the food, and since it's AYCE, you can make your plate exactly how you want it. Definitely order the sesame bread--it's a little extra, but it comes out fresh and we love it. Great place for individuals, couples, families with kids--they've always been accommodating--as well as large groups and to-go orders. read more

First time visiting and it was a unique experience. Wait time was a little long. It's a small location. Parking is a little tough. The staff well understaffed. Food you must wait in a long line and choose your toppings. Stood waiting for the food to be cooked about 35-40 minutes. I would recommend getting what you want and not trying to go back up a second time as you would be waiting again another 30 to 40 minutes. Never did get refills on a drink, never got water. Our service at the table was zero. I think for the experience it was okay but I definitely won't be going back. Overall it was a decent location not as clean as I would expect it I definitely am very picky when it comes to cleanliness... I absolutely adore Cesar's Mongolian! From the moment I stepped in, I was charmed by the cute ambiance that instantly put me in a great mood. The staff were incredibly attentive and made me feel so welcomed throughout my visit. Let's talk about the food - it was absolutely delicious ALL YOU CAN EAT! I have been coming here ever since I was small and i will definitely keep coming back! When I came back to this restaurant it was completely different because they remodeled and they now have new owners. I have to say the place is stunning with a big screen tv new booths and alcohol! Comparing it to the mongolian food at malls this place is definitely steps above the rest. Mainly because you can make several trips on the buffet line. They especially have a wide selection of meat that are not rock hard frozen like the others and the vegetables were fresh. The price was very reasonable, and if you look in the long beach grunion gazette they have a $5 off coupon. I would definitely recommend all yelpers to try this place out. read more

My parents are creatures of habit so whenever we go out to eat, there's only a few choices. After a little bit of convincing to try something new and Yelping, I found this place. My parents are big fan of the Mongolian BBQ at the mall so I thought this was a better alternative. It was all-you-can-eat so you don't have to pack everything in one bowl. You can make several trips and try different sauces. Last, it's the same price as the one in Cerritos Mall, but without the pressure of piling everything all at once. In the end, all of us were satisfied and full. I'm sure this place will be part of the family-dine-out rotation. read more

this place looks completely different!! Apparently they are under new ownership and the place looks great, the cleanest mongolian bbq restaurant i have ever been to. the food is fresh and the taste is awesome, well depends on how you like your sauce. I like to put 3 scoops of the spicy sauce, 2 scoops of oyster and 1 scoop of sweet n sour. Ive tried different variations and no matter what you have to add the sweet and sour, it gives it an extra flavor. plus the prices are unbeatable for a buffet. for lunch it is $7.95 all you can eat and the draft beer is only $2. They give 7-8 skewers per dinner. The fried rice that's served with the dinner could be a little more flavorful but it's the same as I remember.

Based on the sauce alone, I'd definitely try again in a month or two to see if the quality of the crawfish improves as we get deeper into crawfish season. The clams were hit and miss as some were great while others were handy. Generous amounts of sausages and potatoes were given for a good price. My wife and I were able to finish the add ons in one sitting. I'd give the restaurant and overall 3.5 right now, 5 for the sauce alone and a bit lower than a 3 for the seafood quality. We still enjoyed the meal, but quality could definitely be better.
