This place is the real thing. High quality old-school bakery. Lots of Middle Eastern style items but also a LOT of other goodies, too. I ordered some cannolis and baklava with pistachios. Don't worry, they have the traditional baklava (as well as one with pecans) for you traditionalists. Everything was delicious (including the sample I tried). I don't know for a fact, but it appears everything is baked on-site. The service was excellent with the lovely young lady taking good care of me. So glad I found this place (thanks Yelp!) and will definitely be back. read more

We were recommended to come here from a family friend . It is a top notch Armenian Bakery with fresh treats, great service and reasonable prices. When you enter a bakery and you see the baked goods shining you know you are about to enter a mouthwatering lip smacking experience. If you ever find yourself craving something sweet, go to Caesar's. I've been living in the area for about 3 years now and I'm so happy to have found such a delightful bakery so close to me. Usually, I'll come to Caesar's to pick up a cake or pastry before going to a dinner party or something. People ALWAYS love whatever I take, as long as it's from here! Whether it's their ashtas or crunchy paklavas, you can never go wrong with any of their desserts. Sometimes, when I'm really craving something sweet, I purchase their individual cakes. My personal favorites: - tiramisu - cannolis - cheesecakes The staff are super nice too! Totally recommend checking this place out. read more

It was the morning of my Mother's birthday, and I had to work, but I wanted to send her a little treat to start her day off positive. I checked Yelp and this place had delivery via Grubhub and they had a pretty early delivery time-frame. Glad I chose them! I ordered two eclairs and a box of assorted cookies. Caesars's pastry has the best desserts. I usually don't like cakes because they are too sweet for me. My favorite is the osmaleye. It is soooo delicious. If I lived in Granada Hills, I would eat this everyday which might not be so good for me lol. It is delicious and a must try read more

The service is as sweet as the pastry:) loved the pastries that are of middle eastern origin- the ashta based pastries are so delicious! The eclairs are great too! The cake based desserts and cannolis are good too. All the desserts look great and I will be back for the baklava very soon! Oh and IMO it is very reasonably priced so reduces the guilt of the guilty pleasures the serve by a bit ! read more

Came across this place on the way home and felt like trying a new sweet spot. It was sooooo hard to decide what to choose. Lots of cookies, slices of different cakes, and baklava. I chose the Napoleon because it looked delicious and the tray had only a few slices left (obviously popular). I also chose the mango strawberry cake slice because why not? I was so curious to taste those flavors combined in a cake. The Napoleon was absolutely delicious! Flakey, creamy, and most importantly, not sweet sweet. Just enough sweetness to categorize it as a pastry. If you are not a big sugar fan, this is the pastry for you. The strawberry mango was a disappointment to me. Although fresh, moist, with delicious. lightly sweet cream, I did not taste strawberry and only a hint of flavored mango. The cake was white and tasty but that was it. No fruity flavors here. I will stop here again because there are so many other delicious pastries to try :) read more

Since we are a huge fan of the Ashta cake, it's hard not to go back and hope for a better experience. Unlike the previous experience, this time it was the complete opposite. First off, the owner Caesar responded to my initial review and really wanted to make sure my next experience was better than the last and indeed that's exactly what it was. I reached out to Caesar and placed an order for the Ashta cake 6 hours in advance. He ensured my order would be ready without any issues. He really promised and delivered. His staff had better customer service and even returned my call and left a voicemail when the call was dropped mid way into the order. As an owner, you can tell he is very dedicated to his business and wants to make sure every customer has the best experience each time. Per usual, the Ashta cake was mouth watering delicious and extremely fresh! I will defiantly be returning as I used to! Thank you Caesar for taking your customers and their experience so seriously, it speaks volumes as a business owner! read more

My husband and I have been coming to Caesar's Pastry since they opened. Naim (the owner) is always in a Gr8 mood no matter how early or late it is in the day. He might even grace you w/ his singing talent. Everything is this store is delicious but most importantly the customer service is impeccable. Besides having just the most pleasant attitude, joyful personality and positive outlook on life... The pastry chef here makes a BOMB ASS KUNEFE! (Also spelled many different ways. I've seen kanafeh, Knafeh, kanefeh, Kenefeh and everything in between. It just depends what middle eastern person is making it, I guess). This stuff is money $$$$$$$$$$. Hits the spot every time. An easily digestible (served warm) gooey cheese pastry sweetened/finished with a honey-like simple syrup on top. I've seen the crust made differently at other places. Sometimes it's a crunchy shredded wheat-like baklava crust with cheese underneath, sometimes it's layers of flakey filo dough with cheese underneath, sometimes it's a lightly crunchy crumbly breading on top with cheese underneath, and sometimes the top breaded layer is a mixture of crunchy and smooth. I REALLY like the ones served with Pistachios on top! They should definitely try that here. Anyway...The top crust and the melted cheese and the sweetness all come together to make this simple thing quite lovely. I wish I'd see more people on Yelp into this stuff. It deserves its own list. Last week, I was doing my errands after work. It was a Friday after a long week of Parent teacher conferences (in the year of Covid). My initial plan was to stop by a grocery chain and get a special treat for the weekend, until I remembered that cute little independent bakery tucked inside the Knollwood Shopping Center, Caesar's. I ordered a simple brownie and found paradise in a pistachio cookie like treat. Usually I go for the pastries, but the decadence of these masterpieces are saved for a special occasion. The Cake was crunchy topped it matcha chocolate shell to smash it open. It was so much fun. The moose was so divine and light and airy it almost felt like a cloud in my mouth. The soft chocolate moose melts right in your mouth & the exterior being hardened white chocolate allows you to enjoy a satisfying crunch. I felt like I was making a mukbang when I took a bite LOL. The best pastry in town! They greet you the second you walk in the store. They are very helpful and patient and along with that being said, they actually care for their business, and what is sold to you more than they care about the money they make from you. I walked in the other day didn't know what I wanted, I took a while to look around. While I was looking around the store to make up my mind of what I wanted to take as a gift for my friends party, one of the nice ladies asked me if she can help me out with anything, since I did look like I didn't know exactly what I wanted. So, I explained the occasion I was going to and she had told me, if you have a little time to wait, I can make you a nice tray filled with a bunch of stuff and decorate it, it will be easy for each person to pick up something from the tray without the big hassle of slicing anything and not knowing if it's enough or not. I thought to my self, she works there obviously so therefore she knows better than I do, I decided to let her do her thing !! Turned out amazing and I loved it, and everyone did love it and still bragging about the yummy goodies in the platter. It made me happy. I will for sure be back, thankfully it is nearby my house. This place has the best sweets and the best service. Naim, his family, and all the employees always welcome me and everyone I know with a smile, a free sample and sometimes even a song! Lol! Absolutely delicious! Cesar's Pastry Shop in Granada Hills is a hidden gem, and their knefe is the star of the show. Tried them out yesterday and all I could say was I'm not sad or mad just really dissapointed people tend to get ideas of good versus bad and cheap vs expensive let me say this place is all over the place. Croissants are big and flavorless, hence why they are "cheap" while things like the knafeh are just plain horrible. Never had such bland and disgusting looming knafeh or knaffe? Not to mention the portion size for that very small knafe for the price. read more

They really deserve a 5 starts. I ordered a cake for my baby's first tooth party from this amazing store and it tasted great. I sent them a photo for the cake and I got exactly the same shape that I want . We also got stuffed pistachio namoura it was really super delicious. I highly recommend this place, I stumbled upon this hidden gem one day coming home from work and have not looked back since. Great service and employees make their customers feel like family with the small talk while taking your order. This is a family owned and family operated pastry store. Owners and the staff are very professional and hospitable. The shop is extremely super clean which is so important. I just walked in today to buy some Arabian sweets, I have to say I was blown away by the selection of sweets. They didn't just have Arabian sweets, they also had traditional American and European sweets. They were so sweet and helped me right away. You have to try their Baklava it is AMAZING! They raised their prices on their products which I understand because of inflation, but they no longer have price tags on any of their desserts, so you don't know if it's $2 or $10 a piece and because of the language barrier it's difficult to get good customer service Now I see why there's so many negative reviews read more
