Sitting in their dining room and hanging out is cool, but I come here for their private karaoke rooms. You can order food and drink off the menu and there's no additional fee for the room; you just feed the machine $1 per song. They have a good song selection of English, of course Korean, and Japanese. Their sound system is pretty good too. Their soju watermelon is good (like literally, half a watermelon hollowed out and filled with soju goodness) but I like their soju shakers too. They come in flavors like Taro, Green tea, Lilikoi... my favourite is the Cucumber soju! Good food, good drinks, and karaoke... you really can't go wrong! My girlfriend and I are both introverts. Except that her level of introversion is far superior to mine, and that makes me seem like I may be an extrovert. But I am not. Drinks are pretty expensive here...but once I get a little alcohol in my system, price is usually overlooked. I'm not down with the karaoke, so the fact that there's several (free) karaoke rooms doesn't really affect my opinion on the place. But uhhhh, it's pretty nice and clean inside! This is a great bar to go to with a group of friends. Parking can be challenging at times as it's street parking only (unless you opt to valet). I would suggest making a reservation. For the longest time I thought you could only reserve rooms (which they have a few of, for karaoke parties), but apparently you can also reserve a table. Without one, you'll be standing outside or inside along the wall awkwardly for a while. First off, not gonna lie, watermelon soju is a little overrated. Kind of pulpy. But the novelty of the soju coming in a carved-out watermelon is probably what keeps people coming back for this $30 menu item. All of the soju is good -- $20 a pitcher. Melona is probably my favorite. Last time I was there was in December, and I didn't see the Latte Soju on the menu, which is disappointing because it was one of my favorites. Once you get a good buzz going, you'll be ready to sing your heart out! It's a $1 a song, whether you're at a table or in a room (which there's no additional fee to reserve). Don't be fooled, while this bar is unapologetically a Korean bar, it's not a buy-me-drinkee bar. Cheap drinks and a friendly staff make this one of my favorite establishments to unwind after work or to meet up with friends on the weekends. The private karaoke rooms get taken fast with good reason as they are free ($1 per song on the karaoke machine). Just the name alone would make you want to check this place out (at least it did for me). I walked inside the bar wondering exactly what to expect but I was relieved at a basically local bar with Karaoke rooms with a heavy Soju influence to which the gang had endless flowing soju all night I drank a beer so I wouldn't get hammered if it tasted too good and would be reaching for more and more especially since I had to drive too. The gang ordered up tons of food so lucky me got to taste test several selections which were not too bad. The food was good Korean fare so pretty average. The Karaoke selection was a mixture of Japanese and Korean and some engilsh titles most of which I couldn't read anyway heh but it was a pretty thick book from the quick flip through it. The service was pretty lively at the bar and quick once you get their attention so no issues there pretty normal. The place is pretty much a good old local bar with a local clientele besides us that is I even got to meet some people who weren't in our group but are pretty regulars there, good friendly atmosphere and of course being with good company doesn't hurt either! Came here last night for a good few hours to unwind after a long week of working extended hours. The key is to make reservations if you've got a big party; the place fills up quickly! We had a group of 6, and thankfully we managed to get into a karaoke room (even though we weren't sure if we were going to get a room or not). Keep in mind, that the happy hour is from 5pm to 8pm; hence the busy status. Very chill environment, good for socializing (but need to be loud if you're in the main area; your voice drowns out when there are a lot of people). Happy hour prices were decent and good; we ordered 3 carafes of cocktail soju, 2 orders of kimchee fried rice, fried chicken, mochiko chicken, edamame, mandoo, and fried sweet potato. The fact that the rooms are free and that you pay $1 per song on the karaoke machine are a plus; most places nowadays typically charge you for the room if the songs are free. You give and take here and there. So if you're a singing group, i'd definitely take advantage of this. We parked valet because we didn't want to bother with having to find parking. Don't forget to tip the soul who manages to find a good spot for your car. I'll definitely be going back with my friends; we were rockin' all night. read more

Even if the soju may be over priced, it is definitely worth it because it is so good! And they have a good deal of different flavors that you will definitely want to try. All the tables were taken so we sat at the bar. Soju cocktails were $13 and there are more flavors since the last time I came here. We ordered the Lilikoi soju, which is a must try. If you like passion fruits, this serious taste just like juice but sojus are a creeper. It did hit me towards the end of the bottle. For food we just ordered mandoo since we came from another bar and grill already. I don't know if it was the soju hitting me, but the mandoo were so good- crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. I don't usually frequent karaoke bars but I've been hearing so much about the food here I had to come experience it for myself. Yes, the area is not very pretty but you'll be fairly surprised once you step inside. It's a very chill bar with a few private booths, tables, karaoke rooms and a karaoke stage. Our group reserved one of the karaoke rooms which was a decent size for 6 people. We quickly browsed the menu because their half off specials were about to end (get there before 8 p.m.!). I think we ordered just about everything on the menu. Some of our faves were the kim chee pancakes and the mochiko chicken. We also tried the Korean tacos which were okay. They sort of skimped on the meat but they were flavorful for sure. The kim chee mochi dish was also very good if you like spicy food! Also don't forget to order some flavored soju. I liked the melona flavored one the best! As for the karaoke, the songs were $1 each. So make sure you bring some $1 bills to feed the machine. They don't have a lot of new songs but there's a nice selection of oldies and goodies so you can get your fix. I'd probably come back again for the food and drinks, and not so much for the karaoke.
