Belgian waffles with a sweet sugary crust
    Patti C.

Very cute cafe with quaint decor and plates old fashioned china ( all different) The servers are friendly and efficient Good iced coffee Crème brûlée French toast is on brioche bread which is very creamy and sweet . It is served with fresh berries, and crème brûlée sauce on top. No need for syrup The Belgium' waffles are also sweet with a slight crisp exterior served with fresh whip cream and berries . The tomato taste is similar to a flat bread made of layers of a light dough with fresh tomatoes and amazing flavors a bit pricey with smaller portions yet high in quality and flavor

Good, casual, inexpensive fare can be had at Café Le Jardin. The location is fantastic with easy parking and great indoor and outdoor seating options. After 2 visits, I give it a solid 4 stars for the overall experience. The menu is nice with many of the French dishes I love to have out or to make at home. Visit One: I ordered a coffee, the breakfast radishes, the savory crepe and a chocolate croissant. They did not have the breakfast radishes so I substituted with the truffle deviled eggs. Good coffee and the food well-made and overall, a solid 3.5. The service by Tori was great. Visit Two: three of us went on a Sunday and again, the food was well-made and a solid 3.5 overall. I asked again for the breakfast radishes and again, they did not have it. At this point, the breakfast radishes should have a disclaimer next to them that says 'if available'. I ordered the salade Lyonnaise and the French onion soup. Both were good - not great. The poached egg was perfect and the potatoes were delicious but the dressing on the salad was not warm when the frisée was tossed with it and instead of true lardons, there was a light sprinkle of bacon bits. It was not terrible by any means but it wasn't great either. The croissant sandwich was deemed delicious as were the potatoes that accompanied it and the third diner had the truffle deviled eggs (delicious) and the croque madame. The croque madame was also deemed 'good, not great'. Service was not as good on the second visit, but it wasn't terrible. The food at Le Jardin is good, not great - but for the price, the ambiance, the location; it certainly is a good café that can only get better as it goes.

    Cheese plate

We had brunch out on the patio. I'm glad we had a reservation because it got busy on a Sunday morning. We started with the cheese plate. It came with 3 different kinds of cheeses, raspberries, some greens, and honey. They only put a small piece of bread but brought more when we asked. The blue cheese was the best. It was good but not sure if it's worth $22. I would've preferred having several other items instead. I had the frog legs. It came with 4. While they were delicious and meaty for frog legs, it didn't come with anything. I added the petite salad. I feel like I was still hungry after $19 worth of food. I would get the frog legs again but as an appetizer. The rest of the table had the ham and cheese croissant, croque madam, and cheese omelet. Also, side of potatoes and chocolate croissant. Absolutely no complaints on the food. Just didn't seem filling enough for our group. But we are big eaters. Being first timers, it would've been helpful to get a coffee/beverage menu. We didn't know all the options they have. It's not included on their menu. I would definitely come back. I want to try breakfast/lunch again but really want to see how dinner is. Sitting outside on the patio was so nice. The service was friendly. It was a little slow getting drinks, etc. but it was busy. And we were in no rush.

Overall great outcome! Initially there was a mixup of some sort, waited over an hour for brunch, however chef Rich came out and explained what happened and offered to comp meal and additional meals. Pics below. It was my son's birthday and they even gave him a gift card to return. That is how you treat customers. Lobster truffle Agnolotti was superb. All the flavors were spot on.

Came here on a Saturday night. Our app came out fairly quickly but the rest of our meal took some time to come out. Truffle devil eggs were very good and could taste the truffle. My wife had the scallops and French onion soups scallops were perfectly cooked and the sauce with it was amazing. French onion was huge and very tasty. A bit too salty for my taste (not a huge salt fan) but my wife loved it. I got the beef tartar and the gnocchi. The beef was very good and huge. I would definitely recommend getting it to share. The gnocchi was just okay. As I said earlier I'm not a huge salt person but this actually needed it. The sauce was very bland. All in all we would go back when the menu changes for the season to try some other things.

We are back for brunch! Wonderful experience like last time. French toast has crunch caramelized skin and is so fun to eat. Omelette and croque madame are good as well! People working here are nice as usual. We will need to come back for the foie gras burger.

Delicious breakfast with Rockstar Regineration Construction and Renovation Co. Audobon, NJ

Went here with my gf (T.C.) and her grandson. Had a delicious breakfast. One of the best ever. They make an amazing french toast with carmelized sugar and some delicious creme topping. Soooo good. Teri loved her meal as well. *****Highly recommend this quaint little jewel of a breakfast spot!***** Rich Kulakowski Anthem, Arizona

Heard good things and decided to pop in. Outstanding atmosphere. Formal/casual. Will definitely want to sit outside next time to check the patio. Cappuccino was right on and the French Toast was truly amazing. I'll be back with family to share this gem.

Richard and Christina Cusack of June BYOB have another restaurant now open in Audubon with Chef Jay Shipp in command. Just finished a great Saturday night dinner here, every course was excellent! French onion soup was to die for, wild boar sausage and lentils - outstanding! Wife had trout almandine, steak frites for me, both so good. We really appreciate that portions were correctly sized...makes for a more comfortable dining experience. Full house when we left at 8:15 so be advised on a Saturday night you will need reservations. Only issue was the noise level greatly increased as the restaurant filled up. That aside, worth the trip for the great food, service and ambiance. Chef Jay - you hit it out of the park tonight...we'll definitely be back!

Update: we came back for dinner! Dinner was delicious. Service was exceptional. The steak frites and scallop dish were the standouts for me.

I am Thinking of making reservations for 4 on Thursday 3/13 but I don't think my friends would want the cooking class. Can I still make reservations for us to have dinner?

I stuck with my usual two eggs, which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My fiancée ordered the Pretty Toast, their take on French toast, topped with cream cheese, pecans, and sweetened peaches. It honestly reminded me of peach cobbler! When I saw her plate, my jaw dropped--I was instantly jealous! She let me steal a couple of bites, and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of those dishes you could enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or even as a sweet snack. The food was a solid 10/10. Our server, Ben, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to tell us a little about the menu and even suggested we try something different. Looking back... I probably should have listened! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. I have stayed in countless B & Bs and have contacted Select Registry (the B & B directory that highlights luxury inns) four times to suggest myself to become one of their reviewers. They haven't responded, and maybe they shouldn't hire me because I'm brutally honest, picky, and have high standards when it comes to inns. Inns have to pay a hefty fee to be featured that book, so I'd probably piss off their paying inns. But I'd make a lot of them happy, too, because when something is good, I let the world know. But I digress. Let's get back to Haddonfield Inn. I'd like to give them 5 stars because they are a dog-friendly inn. And when I called to book the room, Nicole, the innkeeper's daugher, was such a sweetheart. I really, really wanted this to be a fantastic experience because it's close to NYC, they take dogs, and we could return time and time again. Yay for NJ! We were off to a GREAT start! Right? WRONG. We get here and I go to the restroom to relieve myself. I see that the maid has not yet cleaned the floor... there's hair and dirt on the floor. I know, I know. I'm picky, but for $259 a night, a clean bathroom would be a nice touch. I told the innkeeper (I was very nice and charming about it) and she came to clean it herself. It took her 2 seconds flat. She ran back out and called my name. "Angela, you owe us another $20 because you are only staying for one night. Can I have your credit card again?" Huh?? Now normally an extra 20 bucks would not throw me. But we were told when I booked the room that it was $259 and were sent the receipt in a follow-up confirmation. So I asked her about it and she just mumbled something about the fact that Nicole made a mistake and she was just going to have to charge me the extra $20. I told her that this is not what was told to us when we booked and I had the receipt to prove it. She turned to me and said, "Well, if you aren't happy about it, you can just leave." I stuck my 8-month pregnant belly out (just in case she missed it... doesn't she know that you aren't supposed to mess with a lady who is that pregnant?) and said, "I'm not unhappy, I'm shocked at the way you are treating your customer." She knew she was wrong and after mumbling some comments that I chose not to hear, she said she'd reimburse us the $20. And, to her credit, she wrote us an apology note later in the evening. I would have given this place 2 stars, but because Nicole was such a nice person to us and because they accept dogs, I give them a freebie star.

I was immediately impressed that we were greeted by the owner & innkeeper for the evening as soon as we parked. They gave us a quick tour of the house and showed us to our room. I really liked that Inn is kid friendly. We have a 2 year old daughter, and I've heard most B&B's do not allow small children. Since this was practically the only lodging available in Haddonfield, we were very thankful that we were able to bring the 2 year old on the trip with us. Drinks, snacks, and wine were available at any hour of the day. We really liked our room, but it got pretty chilly on our first night. We could not figure out how to turn on the fireplace in our room. We found out the next morning that the gas was off in the entire house, which was why we couldn't turn the fireplace on. However, they quickly remedied the situation and our room returned to a comfortable temperature in no time. I would return based on the location and the super friendliness of the staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.

In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee.
