A charming hotel restaurant serving classic Italian food. The decor and atmosphere here is inviting and done nicely. I liked how straightforward the food was and kept classic. The service was friendly, attentive and changed our plates out from the appetizers to the entrees. I really enjoyed the Lasagna Classico especially for being hearty without that greasy feel. The Eggplant Parmigiana was also done with a more rustic take that was enjoyable as well.

Have you ever eaten food so good that you forgot to take pictures? Café Amici delivers food to the table that is so fantastic that you take a bite with gratitude and simply savor. This special locale is nestled in the side of a hotel and is not to be missed. It is only very edge of Beverly Hills, but does not feel like it. This is a perfect spot to start the evening before heading into WeHo. I recommend the cacio e Pepe the mushroom risotto and definitely the chicken piccata. For dessert you cannot have a better cheesecake and the one they make here.

This place has changed and the new people are absolutely anything but good. The food is not worth it anymore especially with the new leadership. It's a shame that the place got taken over but don't be fooled by nostalgia as the new manager and all that are as rude as rude can be. No more Amici no friend of Roma Caffe

I can't believe this little gem has been here for so many years and I have never been. Such a quaint place with great outdoor seating. They have valet parking which is way more reasonable than most at $10. They have gluten-free options. The pizza gluten-free was great. The pasta gluten free was not so great. Probably not where I would get a steak again as some of our party got very average steaks. But the calamari was excellent salmon, excellent lamb chops...definitely worth a visit. I'll be back soon for the delicious drinks. Staff is lovely too!!

My group had a nice time here. We were going to see a band at the Troubadour, and this was the perfect walking distance away. Do yourself a favor, valet, parking in this area can be a total pain. I thought the food was decent/good. This is a hidden restaurant in Beverly Hills, but really in the Weho nightlife district. You have to cross Doheny, and it's on the first floor of the Beverly Terrace hotel. It's a small/charming restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The outdoor front patio area is cute, but my group sat in the outside atrium area contained in the middle. My group shared bites, and everything was very good. I don't have any specific food call outs, they delivered on all fronts. I did really like my Risotto Funghi. It's a nice little establishment that isn't overcrowded. The server was nice and attentive. Did I mention that they do make a great dirty martin with blue cheese olives. #SOLD.

The ambience in the courtyard was probably my favorite part. It was quiet with good music and a good sound level. The staff was probably my next favorite part, very kind, funny and polite. I will be back when my dad is in town. Otherwise, I like the carciofi salad most. I think the truffle pizza and the truffle gnocchi were decent, but not outstanding and not worth the price tag. There's no red sauce on the pizza FYI. The tap water I think is unfiltered so I would recommend the bottles water. The chocolate cake with vanilla gelato was also decent but not amazing. The strawberries really made it great.

Such a cute place for a date night or lunch spot. I've been here twice and I love how clean and wholesome their food is. The quality is worth the price and portions are very generous. I recommend the chicken parm and Cacio e Pep pasta with their house bread. 10/10 will be coming back. Service was also good despite it being Valentine's Day.

Honestly, it worked out perfectly because they had AC and it was HOT in Beverly Hills that day lol. The inside of the restaurant was actually really beautiful too! I loved the decor and the vibe felt way nicer indoors. Looking back, we probably should've just asked to sit inside instead of outside because of the heat The food was oh so so so very good! Everyone in our group enjoyed everything we ordered, from the appetizers all the way to dessert. HIGHLIGHT of our lunch: my husband and I surprised my mother-in-law with a bouquet of pink roses, so we asked the hostess if they could keep it in their cooler room until the end of lunch. After dessert, they brought the flowers out for us and my mother-in-law was so surprised and happy It honestly made the whole celebration feel extra special. There are other locations but this I think was the first one and since it was the one I frequented it's the one I will miss. I have so many fond memories of this restaurant. I came here as a little girl with my family because it was casual enough for a well mannered child but fancy enough to please the adults. One time I decided to get into shape. Every time someone asked me out for lunch or dinner I said I wanted to go to Il Fornaio. I would order a bowl of the vegetable soup or vegetarian soup of the day and the Regina Salad. The salad did wild arugula, couscous, avocado, red onions, capers, raisins, and lemon oil dressing. It was a fabulous and filling meal that also kept me skinny. I could honestly eat it every day and never get bored. During Covid I came here and we ate outside on the sidewalk. We enjoyed watching the pedestrian scene and "staying safe" while being able to eat out again. I really missed going out and I felt comfortable here which was important during Covid time. Every Halloween Il Fornaio would have 1/2 price pizza. My family made a tradition to order it. I LOVED this tradition and I'm going to miss it this Halloween. Their pizza was delicious. One time I came here with a boyfriend because they had a cooking class in the back. They had a huge entertainment room in the back of the restaurant. I wish I had a chance to have a special event here to rent it out. We had so much fun as we watched the chef talk about how to prepare each dish and what was even better is that we got to taste it in the end. We ate seabass with golden raisins, baked pasta with eggplant, and a cannoli for dessert. They even had a party souvenir which was an Il Fornaio plate to hang on the wall. Last time I came here was on the Fourth of July last year. It was also dine-la and they had the best deal of any of the dine-la restaurants. Not all the dine-la deals are good but this one truly was one of the best in terms of value for money. It was a three course meal with the most delicious fish entree. Who doesn't love a good deal? We had a fabulous time! Lastly, in recent years they added a happy hour menu to the restaurant and it was fabulous. I did another review on that so I'll keep it short here but the food and drinks were just wonderful. I will miss the friendly waiters who have been there forever. They don't make them like that anymore. Arrivederci to a true "classic"!

The place is BEAUTIFUL, especially during sunset. Book a table for the terrace for 45 minutes before sunset and you will witness one of the most tranquil sunsets overlooking LA.. The interior is classy and elegant. While you can wear whatever you want, I do recommend dressing up a bit to be a part of the special ambiance. Service was EXCELLENT. The servers including our waiter were attentive and helpful. Sadly, the food was a bit of hit and miss for me. The Frutti De Mare (seafood pasta) was disappointing. While it had beautiful presentation and large prawns, I didn't like the flavor of this dish. I wanted a fresh taste made of fresh aromatics such as tomatoes, basil, garlic, or shallots. The sauce was made of some kind of cream and the flavor was just lacking freshness. The shrimp was overcooked, and tasted previously frozen. This dish missed the mark on flavor and texture. My sister got the pan-seared halibut and that was better. The texture of the fish was good although I didn't particularly like the flavor. The bread service was my favorite part of the meal. The bread was made in-house according to our server and it did have the perfect balance of Japanese milk bread and a sourdough. That was a WINNER! The broccolini while generous in portion was just ok both in texture, flavor and creativity. I expected higher quality in the cooking and more creativity in the flavor profile for this type of restaurant. All in all, the sunset, ambiance and service were worth the visit!

Spicy pomodoro is perfectly al dente and a well-balanced sauce. But, my favorite-- the agnolotti! Wow, melt in your mouth! The flavor profiles of corn, crème fraiche, and old bay were delicious. My only wish -- larger serving of this (smallest pasta serving on the menu). To complete it, banana pudding tiramisu -- delicious too with a firm center and oozy outside. Atala was wonderful and very sweet. Recommendation: come with a group of at least 4 to try more on the menu -- the large plates (branzino and ribeye) looked excellent! Definitely a worthwhile visit.

We came on a Thursday night as a group of four and the place was pretty busy. From everything I've heard, Cento is one of the more popular pasta spots in LA right now, so I was excited to finally try it. We started with the radicchio salad which was delicious. Light, refreshing, and tangy, a great way to start the meal. For pasta, we ordered the Spicy Pomodoro, Sweet Corn Agnolotti, Broccoli Bucatini, and the Cavatelli Finocchio. Honestly, it was hard to pick a favorite because every single one was excellent. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, the sauces were flavorful, and each dish felt unique. My only complaint is that the portions are a little small. I understand they're meant for sharing, but to be honest I probably could have eaten all four by myself. At around $30 per plate, this definitely isn't a cheap meal. One thing that was a little disappointing was that it was my fiancée's birthday and I had noted it on the reservation. We noticed another table receiving what looked like a special birthday dessert, but nothing was mentioned for us. My fiancée didn't want me to ask about it, so we just let it go and ended up getting dessert elsewhere. Not a huge deal, but it was a bit of a letdown. That said, the food itself was absolutely outstanding. If you're a pasta lover, this place is definitely worth checking out.

The dining room is beautiful, the rooftop is gorgeous, and just about every corner seems designed to end up on Instagram. We started with the burrata and crudo salad for me and a panzanella for my wife. Both were outstanding--fresh, bright, and the kind of dishes that remind you simple ingredients can still steal the show. Next came the squash blossoms. They were enormous, stuffed, and delicious...but also just greasy enough that I briefly considered filing a workers' comp claim against the olive oil. I'd still order them again without hesitation. My wife ordered the ricotta gnocchi. It was good. Comforting. Well executed. If pasta had a LinkedIn profile, this one would say "Consistently exceeds expectations." I just kept waiting for it to surprise me, and it never quite did. Then my Strascinati alle Ortiche arrived. Twisted pasta with lamb ragù, stinging nettles, and pecorino isn't exactly what I picture when I'm craving Italian food, but holy hell was it good. It was one of those rare dishes where every bite makes you pause for a second because you don't want it to end. Easily the best thing we ordered. The only hiccup was the rooftop service, which felt a little slower and less attentive than the rest of the experience deserved. Fortunately, the setting is spectacular enough that you almost forget you're waiting. Would I call Funke the best Italian restaurant in Los Angeles? Probably not. But would I happily go back? Absolutely. The atmosphere is first-rate, the salads were excellent, and I'd return for that Strascinati in a heartbeat--even if I still have to sound it out every time I order it.
