Best coffee shop in Downtown St. Louis! The ube latte is the best plus they have really yummy desserts. Don't forget to try their home made ice creams, the best! The owners are awesome and so friendly. I will definitely go back when I am in the area.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Adorable small cafe/coffee shop in downtown STL, you can instantly tell it's family owned and operated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The young man working at the counter was efficient and kind. He served up my drink and treats with a smile and was very sweet and patient helping a foreign elderly couple behind me get their desired breakfast sandwich. I went with a classic iced americano- decaf, which instantly hit the spot on a hot and humid Midwest day. In the bakery case they had some delicious looking sweet treats in the form of "bars" so of course I ordered a flight of all four to taste test. Here's my ranking- 1. Lemon Bar (if you like gooey and underbaked sweet things you'll love this, tart sharp lemon flavor but very very sweet) 2. Butter Cake (super rich and decadent, melts in your mouth but, be warned it's hard to take more than 2 bites of this at a time) 3. Classic Fudge Brownie (dense and thick with a deep rich chocolate flavor, could easily eat the whole piece) 4. Cookies and Cream Brownie (just skip this one, nothing special just a thick layer of cream cheese icing on top of the classic fudge brownie)

I have come here before work a few times and imo this cafe definitely beats Starbucks. The staff is always friendly and makes great drinks. I have yet to try their ice cream but their breakfast sandwiches are great. Their seasonal options are also quite interesting and they do offer rewards. I do wish they had lavender syrup though. My go-to is a banana muffin with matcha frappe.

Make sure you stop here! Stopped here for coffee before we got back on the road and i'm so glad we did. The lady who served us was so kind and the cafe had such a heartwarming atmosphere. We ordered two vanilla lattes and she had me try mine to make sure I liked it before we left. She was so kind and attentive. Also notable mention, it's right by the arch and it's beautiful. We just got a couple of quick iced coffee's and pastries, but the owners were so friendly and helpful. Helpful in a way where she walked us through all the options but in a quick way that flowed and made sense and wasn't annoying. They chatted with us and made us feel like friends, and the coffees are honestly really good, they know what they are doing. I would recommend them over Starbucks any day, for real. They're also next to a parking garage that's 1 dollar for 20 minutes which is perf. read more

Our favorite stop when in town for baseball games! The shop is less than a 5 min walk from our hotel and the staff is always so incredibly friendly. Everything we've had is good- breakfast sandwiches, coffee, smoothies, and even snagged some ice cream samples. Such a good find! We were looking for a cute quick bite and found Cafe de Blaire! Customer service was spectacular, it's family owned! We got biscuit sandwiches, cinnamon crunch muffin and hot chocolate. It was simple and delicious! They even have homemade ice cream which if it wasn't so cold I would have gotten a couple scoops. read more

This little cafe opened in the midst of Covid and was lucky to survive and receive much love from the locals. It's a family owned business with two other locations in Australia and the Philippines. The ice cream flavors were limited but unique, such as mango habanero, which tasted true to its name. Their Affogato (Espresso poured over scoops of ice cream - vanilla or chocolate) was absolutely delicious. Although I really shouldn't be surprised, since they use quality coffee beans from Kaldi's. The boba, on the other hand, was a miss for me. I tried the taro boba - it was so sugary that I could taste the sugar granules, and the flavor was just all right. Definitely pass the boba and opt for coffee beverages. read more

We just stopped by to get a coffee but we were hungry so we tried the small pizzas. They were actually really tasty! While we were eating they offered us a sample of their ice cream, which they make here. It was so good I went up to peruse the rest of their ice creams and they kept feeding me samples. I settled on Mango Habañero (with chocolate chips), not too spicy but a delicious homemade treat with a kick! Highly recommend this place. read more

Stopped here for coffee etc! OMG try the butter cake ice cream! All the ice cream is homemade and delicious. It was so good! Great service. Super friendly. Super nice. Huge samples. Loved the lady, but sadly the açaí bowls aren't that good. Someone needs to tell her they are called açaí bowls for a reason and not açaí cups. She serves them in cups which is difficult to eat without spilling anywhere. Blue berries were nasty, bananas were nasty. Both blue berries and bananas were frozen and then defrosted!! Not fresh. Açaí was hood and granola good. Loved the service, but they need to take some serious feedback. read more

I had a lavender latte with almond milk and my boyfriend had a strawberry banana smoothie. They were both delicious and the service was impeccable. She was so helpful and even insisted on us trying the ice creams, which are hand made. I tried the gooey butter cake ice cream and oh my gosh, if it wasn't so cold out, I could've eaten the whole dang tub! read more

My friend and I stopped in for breakfast before walking around in the city. We got a iced lavender latte and a hazelnut iced coffee that were delicious! We also got the bacon, egg and cheese croissant that was a perfect grab and go to start our day. The owner and customer service were AWESOME! Not a single miss. The biggest standouts were the lavender yuzu berry cookie and the berry trio walnut bread. The pasta was rolled far too thin on top of the filling and far too thick on the sides so unfortunately the tops of the ravioli were paper thin and overcooked while the sides were still raw. Really unappetizing to cut a ravioli open and see raw pasta. Honestly the flavor was pretty rich but not terrible it's just the ravioli itself wasn't well executed. The lovely waitress noticed that I wasnt completely satisfied and took the ravioli off the check. I ordered some "wagyu" sliders that were juicy but in desperate need of some salt. She also offered me a free dessert which was a warm olive oil cake which had a nice orange flavor to it. Honestly quite a nice ending to an underwhelming meal. Would come back for drinks, though.

Cafe de Blaire was fantastic! I ordered the açaí bowl with the coconut base, topped with fresh bananas, blueberries, granola, honey, coconut flakes, and nuts. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the combination of flavors was absolutely delicious. I also tried the Banana Coco iced latte, and it was just as good--refreshing, smooth, and full of flavor. The service was extremely fast, and there was no wait time when I visited, which made the experience even better. As a nice surprise, they gave my dog a complimentary pup cup that was very generous in size and even included treats. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the visit even more enjoyable. It is undeniably inconsiderate and rude to discuss sexual preference without their consent! I stand up for LGBTQ+ inclusion in daily life. Sunny, the owner of this cafe will smile in your face and then discuss your sexuality behind your back as you leave the cafe. The owner needs to understand that members of the LGBTQ community sometimes prefer not to have their sexuality be of importance and rather be seen as equal as the next customer. I bet she isn't calling straight customers "straight" as they walk out of her establishment. Hence, dont discuss your customer being GAY as they exit. Spend your money somewhere where your sexuality isn't solicited or discussed in private by the owners of the business.
