This cafe is a short, nice walk from the Gateway Arch. We got Affogato with ooey gooey butter cake ice cream. Delicious, sweet ice cream and the espresso had great flavor. This is a hidden gem. We were looking for a pure coffee shop with an interesting vibe so the coffee/ice cream combo made us a little hesitant to try this place out. Really glad we did. The coffee was excellent and there were several options to choose from. We went with the German Chocolate Mocha (specialty item created by the owner) and Iced Lavender Latte. Both were crazy good. Breakfast sandwich was also terrific. One of the "regulars" stopped on their way out to show us her sandwich and said "It's great. You should get it." We did, and weren't disappointed. They have pastries and breakfast sandwiches that are bomb. The service is top notch everyone that works there is so friendly. The owner gave us a bunch of different samples and you can taste the difference in quality compared to ice cream with preservatives. Highly recommend the cheesecake ice cream, strawberry, and affogato! I had the Pumpkin Spice Latte and my boyfriend had the Maple Spice Latte. Both are really good and flavorful. They also offer vegan options, which I love. The owner let us try a sherbert flavored vegan ice cream with real fruits. The regular ice cream also uses real fruit. Honestly, I only found this gem because the Starbucks in my hotel closed early, and I really wanted coffee. Thank you Starbucks for locking the door more than an hour before your posted closing time. Tomorrow, I will be walking right past the long line at Starbucks and walking 3 blocks to this place. And I can't wait! My son and I went in to get coffee for me and ice cream for him. Ice cream is all homemade, and flavors vary. They offered samples of anything we wanted, so I tried the strawberry jalapeño thinking there is no way that would be good. OMG! I had to order a scoop to go with my coffee. My son ditched his original choice and ordered two scoops. It was amazing. There are lots of choices for coffee with multiple non-dairy options. I had a fantastic cold caramel macchiato. The expresso is ground on site and made with top quality beans. No bitterness at all. It was my first time trying anything gooey butter related and I loved it! There isn't any street parking in front of the cafe, so you may have to walk a bit to get to it.
