Such a shame this place doesn't have vietnamese eggrolls, if they did then I would give 5 stars! We had the basil thai entree, level 3 spicy and it was perfect. We actually split it because we weren't super hungry. We also split the crispy egg rolls which were just ok. Our friends had the veggie pho, drunken noodles, and classic spring rolls. They enjoyed their meal. Please get the classic vietnamese egg rolls. How can one have pho without this?? Great service! read more

Cafe de Pho-Thai was an okay Thai dominant restaurant. Pho is only a small portion of the menu. The restaurant is small and it takes a while to get seated. I ordered a fried tofu appetizer, which was $7 for 8 tiny slices. Totally not worth it! The Pad Se Ew was very good though and the portion size was reasonable. You can choose your spice levels - medium gave a little heat, but Thai hot was blazing hot. Wait staff was great, interactive, and gave us a 10% military discount. Overall, we had a good experience and would come back again given the area's restaurant options. Give them a try! Blessings! read more

Service was very friendly, but do not order the Pho. The pho toppings were not fresh, and the basil had brown spots on them. The pho itself tasted bland and straight up smelled like dog farts. The wonton appetizer tasted okay, but was definitely the worst I have had. read more

Green Papaya Salad was fabulous and I'd definitely get that again. However the Green Curry was too sweet and contained spices that were a bit off (oregano?). Drunken noodles were a bit sweeter than the norm & again contained a spice that I would not categorize as Thai. Fried rice was bland. Overall, not impressed. read more

Really enjoyed this Thai find! I got the Pineapple Fried rice with shrimp and loved every bite. My family each liked what they got too, other than the basil fried rice, so maybe don't try that! The service was also quite nice here, along with the atmosphere. Nothing special but very satisfactory. No complaints! read more

This place is a hole in a wall but surprisingly good. I had the Basil Chicken and it was full of the basil flavor! We also ordered the red and green curry. They both had different flavor and could taste the difference. Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely opt for other items on the menu to try it out. read more

What a delightful little spot! It wasn't the easiest to find. It's a little off the beaten path but so worth it. I could tell by the vibe as soon as we walked in that we would have a great meal. Our waiter was great! Friendly, got our order correct. Filled out water (which was clean and cold) every time it was empty and answered all our questions about the menu. We started with Vietnamese spring rolls. They were great. I devour southeast Asia food constantly. These were clearly made to order and the peanut sauce was house made. Super good. A great way to start our meal. I loved the julianed carrot, the texture really made them pop. My wife and I ate family style and shared an order of chicken pad Thai and drunken noodles with pork. They were both on point. The drunken noodles had right proper wok hoy on the veggies and the noodles were not over cooked. The pad Thai was the better of the two and had the right balance of sweet and sour with the correct garnish of chopped peanut. It totally satisfied my noodle craving and was absolutely delicious. This place is nice and clean, and I really liked the way the decor fit the concept of what they are doing. There not pretending to be something there not. Definitely not authentic Thai food. I later asked and the waitress said it's all Nepalese chefs. Not saying anything is wrong with that, but it's definitely Thai food with a Nepalese twist. I ordered two of the Thai classic dishes: Tom Yum Gai (chicken sweet and sour soup) Beef salad Both didn't taste like how it should normally taste. In fact, it doesn't even look like how it should look like. The beef salad literally came on top of Romain lettuce and shredded carrots. It also tasted very salty, not much spice, and definitely no sour taste. The traditional dish itself is all meat with a good balance of spicy, salty, and sour taste. The soup...has some kind of curry taste to it, when the broth should, again, be a good balance of salty, sweet, and sour. The saltiness comes from the fish sauce, sweet comes from palm sugar, and sour from lime juice. That was not the case here for these Thai dishes and I am highly disappointed. My friend ordered the yellow chicken curry. Falls on a sweeter side. Taste like any other curry dishes, nothing special. We left only boxing the curry. Prices are close to $10/dish. Not worth for the quality of the dishes. read more

Oh, my gosh! We LOVED this place. The food was amazing and our waitress, Sabita was just wonderful...so kind and attentive. She had great suggestions for the best dishes when we asked and her service was impeccable. Prices were good and the portions were more than enough. Took my family here to get away from the busyness of Estes Park. We were staying at the Stanley but were not in the mood for another heavy meal so we took a chance at Cafe de Pho Thai. It was excellent. The place was clean, fairy quiet the food was better than good and the service was excellent. Highly recommend. Ordered my dish spicy and it was almost too hot to enjoy. They warned me in advance. read more

Don't be fooled by this place's "hole in the wall" appearance, their food is fantastic! We stopped for lunch and shared crab wontons and the cashew chicken entree (medium spice) and it really hit the spot. I highly recommend the crab wontons (you can actually taste the crab!) It was also a nice change from the touristy places on the Main Street. read more

While passing through Estes Park we stopped here for dinner based on fellow yelped reviews and we were not disappointed. We each ordered one of the specials to share, we had the sesame chicken and beef broccoli which comes with jasmine rice. Both entrees were fantastic the chicken and beef were very tender and bite size and spiced perfectly. We also had the hot hibiscus tea which was a nice addition to the rainy day. While checking out other guests food deliveries we noted the Vietnamese spring rolls looked pretty good as well. I highly recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner or to just pick something up. read more

We came here to order take out and the main waiter was extremely rude when I tried to order after I asked him to just look at the menu because I couldn't remember the exact name of the dish but I knew what I was going to order. He gave us the menu and said "look over the menu. I have other paying customers". As if we weren't paying customers. Then proceeded to ignore us and attended the person behind us. The meal was appropriately priced and there is plenty of food, but the drinks? C'mon. It's worth maybe $2.50. They really should reevaluate that. It's the main reason that I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5. The other people who work there were nice and helpful. I didn't grab a fork but the server who brought my bowl cheerfully went and got me a fork and napkin. Very nice. The floors inside are wood and there are threshold transitions between rooms, but they are not very high and are sloped. Parking could be a problem. Parking is somewhat limited, but we arrived early on weekday mornings and had no trouble finding a spot. The restaurant is charming from the outside, with a colorful "Greetings from Estes Park" old postcard mural that makes for a great photo opportunity. Inside, the atmosphere is modern yet cozy, and both days we were lucky enough to snag a window booth. Our first experience set the tone right away. We walked in just as a server was arriving for her shift. Noticing nobody was at the host stand, she seated us before even putting away her personal belongings. That's customer service. For breakfast, I ordered a special that I can't seem to find on the menu now--an Eggs Benedict with pulled pork. I debated swapping the greens for potatoes but decided to be healthy. To my surprise, the dish was served on crispy potato pancakes instead of an English muffin, which meant I got the best of both worlds. The combination was fantastic, and honestly, I think Eggs Benedict works even better on potato pancakes than on bread. Every bite was packed with flavor. The next morning, I made myself try something different, even though I was tempted to order the same thing again. I chose the Cambridge Skillet: smoked ham and bacon with jack and cheddar cheeses over seasoned ranch potatoes, topped with two over-easy eggs and creamy hollandaise. It was delicious and hearty, although my first day's breakfast still edged it out as my favorite. I also sampled my friend's whole wheat blueberry pancake. It was enormous and surprisingly flavorful. I especially appreciated that many of their sweeter breakfast options come with eggs and a choice of bacon or sausage. It's a nice balance and makes for a more satisfying meal. The food, service, and atmosphere were consistently excellent on both visits. The Egg of Estes quickly became one of our favorite breakfast spots in Estes Park, and it's definitely somewhere we'll return on future trips.

I am a one-time New Yorker, living in Estes Park for the last two years. Like the other guy from New York, I know food, and the Cafe De Pho Thai is my favorite place in town to eat. This chef is special. I usually have the Tod Kratium Prig Thai (garlic pepper) or the Pad Kraprow (stir-fried basil sauce). I prefer these dishes hot, but you have your choice of spiciness. I expect that when they can they will move to a better location. I hope not too soon because then it will be wall-to-wall tourists! Worst food I've eaten in Colorado so far! Was looking for some Asian food after a day of hiking so I ended up at this place. The ramen was terrible, not even fully cooked, the clump can't be separated, the broth was salty! The yellow curry was bad too. It was watery and bland. It has a bit sweetness and NOTHING else, I don't know how you can call that curry. Im also pretty sure the pho broth was from some mixture powder. It's sour, and no fragrance at all. The fake sour taste and the strange sweetness was completed by old tasting mushrooms and uncooked cherry tomatoes. Whyyyy????? The noodle dishes we ordered were also awful! We got the Pad Kee Mao and the Pad See Ew. The Pad See Ew was inedible, every bite was worse than the last. The sauce was horrible and inauthentic (like a dollar store version of sweet & sour?), and the chicken has a strange chewy texture. It was completely indelible. The Pad Kee Mao was slightly better but the chicken seemed old and dry. We were able to muster about 4-5 bites. We barely ate any of the food - we ended up having leftover bread and a few apples for dinner. If you want decent food, just go anywhere else. My experience was all around horrible, and when I got ahold of the restaurant, I was unable to get a refund. Absolutely not worth the time, money and effort to eat this food.
