[[HIGHLIGHT]]Saturday brunch walk-in with the place filled to 40% capacity. Very chill vibes and French/Paris eatery setup with nice bright interiors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wish their draught selection was wider, but the Kronenbourg pint they had on tap was chilled and went down pretty easy! For food, we got linguine with butter for out little butter cakes, Moroccan Sandwich ($19) with Spicy Lamb Sausage. The French Baguette was pretty hard to eat but the sausage was good. The winner of the table though was an excellent Vegetarian Avocado Toast ($19). The Yellow and Red Cherry tomatoes and onions just elevated the taste to the next level for me! Service was slightly slow in terms of our drinks. Food however arrived within 20 mins of ordering. I can see Cafe Du Soleil become our regular brunch spot, especially whenever I am craving their amazing Avocado Toast!

Had salmon burgers and grilled salon with a mustard sauce and potato gratin and asparagus. It was a great meal. I'll be back.

Met a friend from college here for brunch and had a nice time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is so bright and cheerful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was charming and my Moroccan sandwich was tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a cute and fun neighborhood spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If I lived on the Upper West Side, this would be on my regular rotation.

Excellent happy hour, superb service - if you understand French formal, slightly distanced politeness (which you deserve by leading with respect)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great UWS local hangout that feels like a real Parisian bistro.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The brunch vibe is always reliable![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is lovely and super friendly! Bon appetit!

French bistro that had a decent happy hour. The drinks were pretty cheap. Man the mussels here were pretty stinky and wine forward. A bit too much.

The most delicious 'the Frenchie' hamburger! So good !

We love this place, we've been coming here for years and years. Often meet up with fellow artists, musician friends and UWS'ers. I've celebrated my birthdays here with a large group, the food is excellent the services amazing and of course, our favorite Bartender Maxim. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You always feel like you are in the south of France somewhere. Super cozy, super inviting![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We also love coming here for brunch . [[HIGHLIGHT]]We also come here to watch sports, tennis, soccer, and during busty day they have the most amazing event.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Still a 5 star for me. Excellent mussels Dijonnaise and pasta with wild mushrooms. Perfect service. A favorite when visiting NYC

We also ordered a mimosa, bellini mango and raspberry ginger mocktail

Bad . Service was good but the French onion soup was tasteless and lukewarm. The escargot was like rubber . No .

A favorite, comfortable neighborhood bistro- dependable French menu. Plump Moules, crisp frites, a glass of white and I'm good!

It's often a challenge to award stars to a very good restaurant experience because the number of…read morevariables are immense, but I had an excellent experience at Amelie on the Upper West Side a few nights ago. I was able to make reservations at the last minute on a Sat night despite July being a very touristy month in the city. We arrived early and an outdoor table was just finishing up so we were sat within a handful of minutes. Beautiful evening to sit outdoors and the people-watching was good but not bothersome. We ordered Escargot, crispy artichokes, french onion soup, the duck and the steak au poive, all of which were excellent (the duck was very nice). Despite the variety of wine available we were enjoying cocktails and our water glasses were constantly refilled. The service was very good as well and the maitre d was also very pleasant. Very solid performance and would love to revisit at a later date.

I have been looking forward to try this place for sometime, finally found an opportunity during NYC…read morerestaurant week on a rainy mid-week afternoon to visit. Conclusion- disappointed, as it's 5 years past its prime, as its last Michelin Bib Gourmand (2021) sign had proven prophetic. Pros- the only non-French menu item off the lunch menu, the burger with fries, was one of the tastiest I had anywhere in sometime. Would have been perfect had I ordered it medium rare, instead of medium. One plus is the decent portion size, for both main entrees and appetizers. Cons- all the other French menu items can use room(s) for improvement. Starting with the mussels bowl, although very flavorful, mussels were a bit overcooked, and it can use a bit more butter, and one less pinch of salt in flavoring. Next, the Escargot appetizer can use more flavoring, and the tuna tartare was way too bland, definitely needs more salt, pepper, and whatever other seasoning to enhance its flavor. Service- server attitude was decent; however, the wait times for food for both appetizers & main entrees were way too long, especially given the fact it's a rainy weekday mid-afternoon and there were only 2 other tables of diners. Given its past glory, and fact there are several other Amelies chain locations in NYC, perhaps the owner(s) of this establishment can take my constructive comments to heart?

I mean it's drenched in butter... it's obviously going to be delish. the fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and layered in salt. weird to have to ask for mayo but they did bring it out. - the, albeit pretty, veggie sides I felt were unnecessary and borderline cold so unclear on how much they really added the meal - the Tarte Tatin à la mode was a win around the table. the apple melted in your mouth. the Poire belle Hélène was good but paled in comparison
