    Ham and cheese croissant
    Thomas R.

I was working across the street from this place for over a week and found myself dropping in a few times. There's only street parking available and I noticed a lot of people blocking driveways to come into this place. Very minimal decor and menu. First time I got the chicken pesto sandwich and it was pretty good. It was relatively heavy so I didn't even bother to make it a sandwich, I kinda ate it like a pizza lol. The bread had a nice crunch and all the flavors were where they needed to be. My biggest issue was how long it took for them to make it. My lunch was almost over by the time I got my food and I only had to cross the street to get here lol. I'd recommend calling it in if you're on a time limit, modern solutions amirite? I also got a ham and cheese croissant made one day that was nothing to rave about but it was good enough. I wanna say the pricing isn't too bad here, especially for the city. The workers are chill and professional. A nice family business that seems to be keeping afloat and I support it. The menu can use some additions but if you're ok with just breakfast options and a few sandwiches then you shouldn't have any issues here.

    Dry mediocre club sandwich

Today I decided to participate in the economic boycott and support small mom and pops. Cafe Gonzalez I will never come back for this mediocre dry $17.24 sandwich. Unfortunately it's just not with it.

3.5 STARS Logos are important. Cuz brand recognition. Except for a Swedish company named "Locum". Look up their logo...SO much fail. *Facepalm* This little corner spot bordering Noe and Bernal has been a number of cafés through the years. Never made a point to shop by until I saw the black and gold Golden Gate Bridge Logo from afar last week. Ahhh haa! They must be related to Taqueria Gonzalez in The Portola so I decided to make a pit stop for dinner last night. Except when I arrived, I realized there was no "taqueria" in its name. Cafe Gonzalez is a cafe and it was dinner time so breakfast for dinner? Why not! They're open for takeout and indoor dining (4 tables). No outdoor seating. With the mandate lifted, no masks are worn. M E N U Bagels, breakfast burritos/bowls, salads, and sandwiches (Boar's Head). There's also some pastries and chips. For drinks, they have coffee, tea, juices, and canned drinks. F O O D * Breakfast Burrito w/ two eggs, cheese, potatoes, black beans, avocado, and salsa ($8.95) ***Add sausage patties (+$2) Since it's a spin-off Taqueria Gonzalez and I've had their burritos before, I thought the breakfast burrito here would be a safe bet. It was ok; it could use more filling, flavor, and texture. I couldn't find the sausage (one patty diced up) until I was halfway done with one of the halves. Since the tortilla isn't griddled, I think using tater tots or hash browns instead of diced potatoes would give a nice crispy texture and adding more cheese or a saucy element like a chipotle aioli would give it more oomph. S E R V I C E Super friendly staff. Family-owned and operated; kids were playing inside. They're still training folks so kindly be patient. A M B I A N C E Barebones with four indoor tables. P A R K I N G Parking can be tricky but they have a dedicated 10 minute parking zone in front. Overall, a decent morning pit stop before hopping onto 280 S. Wishing the owners the best of luck!

The Bacon egg and cheese was Cooked to perfection I'm from North East and that's all we eat so it's definitely can attest to the goodness factor lol . Very clean on inside I'll definitely be back . Great customer service as well

Came in for a latte on a rainy day. I came in the afternoon so they did not have many bagel flavors left. They have a menu that looks good with breakfast burritos, tacos, eggs and sandwiches for lunch. The prices are about average for the area. Very nice relaxing spot to go have coffee and quick bite to eat. I plan to return to try other menu items.

Decided to give this new place a go since it was open early and had some veg options. My unpopular opinion is that SF doesn't have the greatest mexican spots or theyre all at least overpriced, but this is coming from someone who lived in LA for over a decade. I suppose one can't expect anyone to be able to afford to live in this city selling $1 tacos though. Anywayyy, it's hard to find a good burrito in the city and it's even harder to find a good veggie burrito...well anywhere tbh. When a spot does offer one, its usually the same as the regular burrito without the meat and to be frank, beans rice lettuce salsa without the meat just ain't doing it folks. ENTER THE B3, which ive attached pictures of. I looked at this thing on the menu and was like...egg whites? Mushrooms? Carrots? In a burrito? It sounded kind of weird but then I also thought, they only have 3 burritos on this menu. Surely, somebody put some thought into this, so I'll give it a try. I'm glad I did. The burrito was great--different but refreshingly so, and that's what I was looking for in a veggie burrito! i devoured it without feeling sluggish afterwards. Compliments to the chef! Staff was friendly and accomodating. I ordered mine w salsa on the side (genetically predisposed to cilantro crowd represent!). The staff gave me some other hot sauce that paired nicely. I love supporting small, family-owned businesses and love it even more when they put out a good product. Keep it up!

THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! El servicio es muy amable. El precio es accesible. Es un lugar familiar

Mikaela is wonderful. She cooks and serves everything on her own. I ordered a small americano with an extra shot and it smelled heavenly. I also ordered her homemade chicken tamale and it was piping hot and delicious. Don't hesitate to visit this hidden gem in the city!

2 eggs, cheese, avocado, potato, and salsa burrito 10/10; strawberry, banana, and milk smoothie also 10/10!

Super solid smoothie and burrito! Great spot for a quick breakfast. Staff is super nice!

This is the best bagel store in Bernal Heights not just because of the delicious food, but the energy and ambiance of this place is so inviting. The owner is the kindest woman I have met and she provides an array of breakfast options that are all scrumptious. Please go here and support this business Such a staple breakfast place

The crispy chicken was recommended by the server and it truly did not disappoint. The chicken was crisp and juicy and the noodles were cooked perfectly. For drinks we got the Thai iced tea, butterfly lychee fizz, and the coconut milk latte. I got the Thai ice tea less sweet and it was perfect for me ( I usually don't like it super sweet). In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

They had a nice crisp on the outside and were soft on the inside. I also got a regular coffee, and they do unlimited refills. The place was busy for brunch, and I liked the bear theme. Some of the coffees came in bear-shaped glasses, and some of the lattes had a decorative bear made out of ice.
