Wow! Can't believe I hadn't tried these guys sooner considering I always pass by. Their breakfast burritos are soooo good and decently sized for the price. They come out PIPING HOT. Also ordered a hot chocolate which actually tasted like hot chocolate and not some watered down powdered mess. I was working in the area and needed something new to try for lunch. In the week I was here I tried a few Latin spots and today I just wanted something simple for lunch. First I want to add that the directions led me to believe it was on the corner of Cesar Chavez but it's actually tucked into mission and is kinda easy to miss. Parking isn't the best in the area so I walked to save the stress of looking for parking. The inside is as old school deli as it gets. Sandwiches, ice cream, a drink variety, chips and even instant noodles can be bought here. Talk about convenience, amirite? I ordered a turkey on a French roll with lettuce, jalapeños and condiments and a bbq beef for my coworker. Most sandwiches come with the works if you don't say anything so I went minimal on the bbq beef. I have to say that my turkey sandwich was fresh and the bread really stood out and impressed me. Price wise I'd say it's fair for the city, not the cheapest but definitely not an overpriced sandwich. There were a few people in line before and after me, I'd say I spent 10 minutes at the most in the store before leaving with my items. So pretty good for 11:30am but I'm not sure if they get crazy closer to noontime rush hour. The workers were very nice and efficient. If you're working in the area or whatever, this is a really good one stop shop to check out. read more

My first time ordering for my office lunch through Grub Hub from Sweet Chinito, and wanted to eat a healthier-type of dish so I opted for a Chef Salad and a combination of Fresh Orange and Fresh Carrot Juice. I was researching salads in the area for the better price and quality based on what was already seen on Yelp and Grub Hub, and was curious about what Sweet Chinito had to offer. I'm glad I went with Sweet Chinito! My Chef salad was fresh and HUGE for under $11. Lots and lots of greens and toppings of cheese cuts and deli meats. Salad dressing you probably could ask for more, but for the container to they give you I feel that it's the right amount. All depends how much you like your salad covered in dressing? Highly also recommend the Fresh Orange and Carrot juice, it was the perfect coffee swap for the afternoon! Fresh, delicate sweetness from combined oranges and carrots. Sweet Chinito offers a wide variety of menu options from savory foods to sweet treats and some especially delicious drinks! They have a great menu as well as kind and attentive employees. On my first visit I ordered the freshest french roll with ham, provolone cheese, and tons of veggies. The french roll was extremely soft and fluffy as well as having that perfect crunch to it, while the ham, cheese, and vegetables were extremely crisp and flavorful. For food, I also ventured over to an extra plush poppyseed muffin that had the perfect tender to moist taste! I of course had to try out one of their Freezes, which is a fresh fruit type of smoothie. I got peach and cantaloupe and the two flavors combined so well with the freshness of the juice it was mouthwatering! My boyfriend ordered the hot link sandwich with the french roll and some veggies as well. He said it was so good and filling he couldn't even eat his double chocolate muffin he ordered! For his drink he also went with a freeze, but instead chose Cantaloupe and Pineapple for his flavor. He said it tasted so good he wanted to order one to go! Overall for everything we ordered and the quality of our order the price was amazing and truly it was a great experience. The inside was nicely decorated as well as very clean. The interior is small, a pure mom & pop neighborly place with only 2 to 4 or so small tables, really only a takeout place or only a place to hang out for an hour with a friend, but its owner is very nice & welcoming. Been here when it opened a decade ago when I used to work at Blockbuster accrods the street, Crystal the owner is so sweet and kind, fast forward to today. I love this little gem. Crystal and her staff goes above and beyond when servicing customers. I always get my iced white mocha from here and it's so cheap. Only $5. Definitely better than Starbucks since their prices are rising. You can always count on this little coffee shop. They have breakfast, lunch, snacks, coffee, ice cream, and other drinks as well. I've got the pleasure to try a few sandwiches from here and it does not disappoint. The sandwiches are affordable too, only about $8 for a big one. Solid sandwich and snack spot! I stopped by after work for a turkey sandwich on dutch crunch, and it was delicious! It was a sizeable portion too. I was too hungry and finished the whole thing. Found this place in Postmates. I work graveyard shift, and i hate breakfast foods. So i was struggling to find a place that sold regular foods, at a good price, at decent quality, when i get off work at 6:30am. This was it. Yes they serve breakfast sandwiches, but they serve regular ones too. I get their pastrami and it's pretty good. Not as good as a few other places I've been, BUT better than the majority I've had and definitely the most cost effective. Thr large sandwich is the size of my arm and was about 12$ i think (according to my postmates receipt). They also got smoothies! Got avacado smoothie and it was pretty yummy! I was craving for my pastrami sandwich, something that happens a lot when I'm in the city. Lo and behold, they have pastrami sandwich, not the kind that I'm used to getting from Wise Son's Jewish Delicatessen, Millers, Shorties Goldstein's or even at Rossi's in Castro. This pastrami was something more of a bit... Asian style pastrami! I was a bit hesitant at first, but surprisingly, it wasn't too bad. I would've prefered a good Rye but who's complaining? Service was fantastic, the nice Asian ladies did their thing, and minutes later, viola, my pastrami sandwich magically appeared! Clean interior. Almost feels like a deli/cafe. Various breakfast foods and snacks for the on the go shopper. We've tried a bunch of the Sandwhiches and must say the sausilito turkey is awesoke. Followed by the roast beef then pastrami... Those are my personal rankings. Prices are definitely competitive and affordable. The large sandwhich is big enough for 2 people.
