This is a solid breakfast and lunch spot. It was packed on a weekday around lunchtime. I decided to get a late breakfast and wasn't disappointed. I got a Denver omelette.. I believe( sorry I'm not positive), with hash browns and toast and it was very good. It was a very large space with good vibes. Friendly service. Pretty good prices for Sedona. I'll be back.

Cafe Jose was just decent Mexican food. They are very generous with their green and red salsas. Didn't find anything special about their dishes.

A must if you're in Sedona ... friendly people amazing food everything is fresh even the mayo !! So so good !!!

I love a good diner with a booth situation where you can see what's happening in the kitchen. As soon as I walked in I could immediately tell this is where the locals eat and I was not at all disappointed. I had the basic breakfast (2 eggs & home fries) with French toast to substitute the toast. The breakfast was so delicious and filling and everything was cooked perfectly. This is a really great place for a filling meal before getting out to see the sights of Sedona. There were only a few patrons when I arrived so service was excellent and very prompt.

Almost every time I'm in Sedona I eat here and have been doing so for the last 20 years almost decided to drop down from Flagstaff for lunch today and I'm so glad I slipped breakfast because I had the chili Relleno, a Carne Asada taco and a ground beef enchilada and as you can see from the photo they are all gone. Also the rice and beans were delicious especially the beans I have had better rice and that's just based on personal preferences. It's still very good. My waitress Courtney was exceptionally friendly and provide a great service. I have never had anything here that was bad and for Sedona they've got fantastic prices and always have I started eating here about two years after they opened in 2006 I believe they opened in 2004 by far one of my favorite places in Sedona!!!

    The place is always packed!

The service is so wonderful and I have always loved the food here so I wanted to take a minute and post a wonderful review so thank you Café Jose and the staff for your dedication and hard work here in Sedona another family owned and operated business you gotta love that.

The good: Service for our big group of 12 was flawless. Orders came out quickly and efficiently. Also, the prices are excellent, for pricey Sedona or anywhere. You can get a margarita for seven dollars, nothing wrong with that. And our server was happy to take a picture of our group against the cactus mural on the wall. However, this is definitely not the best Mexican food in Sedona as a local promised (I've only tried Tortas del Fuego in addition but that was better) and it really isn't a Mexican restaurant at all. Yes, you can get a lot of Mexican food but there are also a lot of American standbys, eg meat loaf. I always order the chile relleno combo plat when it is ordered. In mine the chile had not been roasted before prep which gave it a crunch I didn't expect or enjoy. Rice and beans were quotidian. Also the lighting is quite bright; don't make the place where you pop the question on a romantic date. Overall I was happy with the experience and would return if I were a local. But would order from the American menu.

After visiting the Pink Jeep tour, we headed over and immediately loved the vibe. The restaurant has a funky, eclectic feel that's full of personality, and we ended up sitting outside on the back patio, which was such a great atmosphere. It felt relaxed and distinctly Sedona. I'll address something that may be helpful for other travelers. As we were leaving, a group of women mentioned to us that they had experienced some prejudice during their visit. As a Black couple, that naturally gave us pause and stayed in the back of our minds while we were there. That said, I can only speak to our own experience, and throughout our visit we felt welcomed, comfortable, well-served, and completely taken care of. We saw a diverse mix of guests and staff, and everyone we interacted with was kind. I mention it only because I know other travelers may be looking for that perspective when researching places to visit when from out of town. Now for the food. The fresh-baked biscuits were massive and absolutely delicious. I also really enjoyed the coffee, and I have to mention the mugs because they were surprisingly cute and added to the charm of the experience. Of course, the real star here is the omelet menu. There are over 100 omelets to choose from, and as people who love a good omelet, we were in heaven. Our meals were excellent, and honestly, I wish we'd had more time in Sedona because I would have happily come back to work my way through several more options. When a restaurant specializes in something and does it well, I usually stick to what they're known for. Between the unique atmosphere, great coffee, giant biscuits, and seemingly endless omelet choices, The Coffee Pot ended up being one of our favorite breakfast stops in Sedona. If we ever make it back, it's definitely on the return list.

You'd never really notice this place unless you looked on Yelp or Maps, but it is definitely worth the stop. My mom and I split the Build your Own breakfast burrito which was fantastic. For entrees, we got the eggs benedict with homefries (classic) and a reuben sandwich with salad. The bennies were delightfully plump, with perfectly poached eggs, smothered in rich hollandaise on an english muffin that just held up. The hash browns are very well griddled, with excellent contrast between the top and middle layers. Some hot sauce goes a long way to cut through the richness of that meal. Reuben sandwich was massive and I really appreciate them stacking the meat. Salad was fresh enough and balanced things well. Too stuffed for dessert but will say pie sounded good.

I ordered a Reuben sandwich with pastrami and can definitively state that this is the best Reuben I have had in my 68 years on the planet! The pastrami was lean and juicy, just enough kraut and dressing PLUS the marbled rye bread wasn't greasy or soggy as some contenders for this title were in the past. The side order of homemade potato chips balanced things out nicely. I've gotta admit though, the iced tea almost stole the show. I am somewhat an iced tea addict and their combination of black teas and fresh mint just about blew my mind. I had four refills! My wife had their veggie quiche with chips and found it equally memorable. The price for lunch was about what I usually expect to pay for dinner but it was truly worth it. The pleasant surroundings complimented the food and the waitress for our table was an absolute delight despite my running her back and forth to fetch me more iced tea! These sandwiches were like if I asked my little brother to make me one. It was ridiculous and way overpriced BLTA $18 two tiny pieces of avocado on the end. The only thing that was good and fresh was the bread everything else was basic nothing special. Also ordered the croissant, chicken salad sandwich. The croissant was good, but it was flat and looked like it was the end of the weeks bread. Again, $18 for the sandwich you would think that you would get a beautiful delicious croissant that was big and fresh but this looks like the size of a dinner roll and flatten down and they put grapes in their chicken salad which I am not a fan of. Absolutely nothing special about the sandwiches, way overpriced you would be better off going to Subway and that's pretty bad. The only good thing is the bread was good and the atmosphere is nice that's it otherwise you're paying $40 for two sandwiches with a slice of old orange buried way under a large pile of old stale chips not even good chips I mean come on so unfortunetly not coming back here and I am a local.
