Wish they were closer to my house . I would be here daily ! My favorite drink is the Earl grey latte . I enjoy the foamy perfect blend so much . I have tried other places for this drink and it's not the same . This location is popular among students to come by and study . I also like that they have good seating options inside and outside. Always a nice time here .

Always a great cafe, i like their spanish lattes a lot!!! It's in a big plaza with plenty of parking and lots around it. They have one that has boba and one that specializes with coffee, both are great!

Fast service. I haven't been here for a while. Now you can order on the tablets (2 of them) which is more efficient. You can choose the sweet level (less/regular/more) for the slush. It's still sweet with the less sugar one. Looking forward for another level of sweetness coming out (minimal sugar? ).

Honestly surprised my group and it was pretty good. The Oreo Taro and peach drink was top tier depending what you liked. The purvia milk tea was pretty good too. I wouldn't get the matcha again tho. Service was pretty fast and there was a kiosk. The place was simplistic was well.

When I first came before I was into coffee like I do now, I was surprised how rich their regular latte was. I was used to Starbucks latte and didn't know the real stuff. Today, I am more into espresso and coffee and I still come back here. Their latte is so creamy and rich especially if you choose Spanish latte which they use condensed cream. Today I decided to try something different and tried the Rose flavored latte. Unfortunately I chose less sweetness and I think this is why I don't get much of rose flavor but the latte itself is same as usual which means they pull the espresso almost the same every time. The service is fast. I probably waited 3 min or so on Friday 7pm. It was crowded with people including families. This is a must try place in Gardena.

Pretty good! This place is super pretty on the inside too, so it's great if you want to take photos. I always try a place with the classic milk tea. Definitely good to try if you're in the area, but thought it was pretty standard. That being said, it's better than most other places in the area. 4/5

Yummmmmm Their rose milk tea was sooooo good! Last time I came here was when they just opened and I went to visit again recently and it was just as good! Very quick service also. They have machines to order in and they call out the names. Inside looks like a good place for study sesh

This is such a good place of you want to chill and relax. Drinks here are absolutely delicious. Would really recommend this place if you need a space to study the lights here make it feel cozy. Service was excellent! The workers were so nice and gave good recommendations for first timers.

Café Pruvia is definitely one of my go-to spots when I'm craving boba or a refreshing drink after dinner. The place always has a nice buzz with people studying, working, or just hanging out with friends, but there always seems to be plenty of tables to sit and relax. Ordering is super easy through their tablet system. I love that it has pictures and descriptions for each drink, which makes trying something new really simple. You can also earn points if you come back regularly, which is a nice bonus for frequent visitors like me. This time I got the Oreo Ube Swirl, and it was such a unique treat. The flavors were well balanced, sweet and creamy without either the oreo or ube overpowering the other. Overall, Café Pruvia is a consistent favorite for me, and I'll definitely keep coming back to try more of their drinks!

Huge fan of the boba shop next door so I was excited for the opening of Pruvia Coffee Bar. The ambiance is completely different, very modern sleek and dark decor. Personally I love this vibe for sitting down and studying. I tried their spanish latte and LOVED it! I also approve of their matcha lattes. Hoping for some fall flavors soon, i'm sure they'd taste delicious. Glad to see the family business growing, customer service is always great and every time I pass by either shop, the owners are always there to greet you and make you feel welcomed. 5 stars! I kept seeing this place on Instagram/Snapchat stories, and being the boba fiend that I am, I figured I would try it out and I was NOT disappointed! I went three times this past week (don't judge, it was for research.. purposes) and ordered different drinks each time to see how it is. Jasmine MT is usually how I gauge most boba places since it's a basic drink. Ordered it half sweet like i do at other places, but I think 75% would be perfect! Glad they don't do the drinks too sweet here. Honeydew MT is SOLID! It's the most honeydew-y honeydew MT I've tried, again really good. Ordered this one 75% sweet, might go down to half next time I order it. My favorite of the ones I've tried so far is the Iced Matcha Latte! A lot of places do matcha and it ends up being really grainy from the powder. Cafe Pruvia got it PERFECT! Never had a matcha latte like this one, had no adjustments to it. Their boba is a little smaller than other places in the area and I like it! It's not too firm and has a good chew to it. The place itself is very nice, well lit, and has good areas for studying in the future when it's safe to do so. Honestly, this place is up there for me compared to the other places in the area (and there are many). If they ever had a stamp card, I would 100% be a regular here! They seem to have nailed their teas AND the boba! read more

Stumbled upon this new spot while waiting for my food take out, and I'm so glad I did. Got the Pruvia Milk Tea which was one of the best milk teas I've had in a while. I'm going to have to come back to try all their other drinks and lattes. Their inside was gorgeous with lots of tables but due to COVID, you can't dine in, make sure you support this small business if you're in this plaza! read more

I have to say, I only came here because a friend posted it on IG and I thought your swirls were just aesthetically pleasing to begin with. I finally got one, and the mocha swirl is delicious! As of now, highly rated on this drink alone, but I want to try out their other products. Plus, I want to fully review this place when COVID restrictions ease up. The interior looks like a great place to get my teacher lesson planning done, so hopefully I'll be able to come in with a laptop next semester :) read more

I would probably say that this cafe is a must for cafe lovers! The service is great, and the variety of drinks served in the ambiance is very satisfying. This place has great milk tea drinks! I got the lavender matcha latte with oat milk and it was delicious. The next time I went, I got the strawberry grapefruit tea and it was okay. My husband got the Pruvia milk tea and hokkaido milk tea. He really enjoyed both. The staff is nice and accommodating. Another great boba place to add to the several other boba places in the center. read more

I discovered this place and ordered the passion fruit tea with boba. I really like the taste and the quality of the tiny boba. The good thing is that I was able to adjust the sweetness, ice level, and the gentleman was very friendly and not to mention fast service. After a failed attempt to grab boba in DTLA (parking was impossible so us gals gave up) on our way back to the OC, my sis came across a promising little cafe called Cafe Pruvia over in Gardena. Granted it wasn't far from the 405 and it had a stellar 5 star rating, it got us pretty excited and we happily made the detour! When we arrived I was super bummed that we had to find this spot during COVID as this cafe was uber cute - like somewhere I'd want to impress a friend by suggesting to meet there to catch up or a workspace I wouldn't mind spending a couple hours at. Either way, I was excited about the decor and made a mental note to come back for one of those occasions if they made the cut. The great thing is that they passed the audition for several reasons! Not only was their decor soo adorable, but their service, prices, and most importantly, drinks were awesome! When we entered the shop, the cashier was friendly and educated us on which drinks to order, the effect of changing the sweetness level of the drinks, and even their 5 star reward program. They were also able to make the drinks very quickly! The price was very fair was we got 2 large 24oz drinks - the blueberry matcha and strawberry milk tea - for around $11! Not bad. Finally, the drinks were creamy and yummy too! One thing I'd note is that at 100%, the drinks are actually quite sweet but if you were to adjust to less sweetness, the drink loses some of the flavoring as they go together. I'd probably go for 75% nonetheless because it was candy sweet at 100% for my blueberry matcha drink. Out of the 2 drinks the strawberry milk tea was actually my fav one as the strawberry flavor was strong while my drink, the blueberry matcha, had only a faint blueberry taste. Nevertheless, I'm willing to come back for sure to try their other drinks - maybe the matcha or taro swirl the next time around! I might be coming back sooner than I think as Tokyo Central which is one of my fav markets is right next door too. Because they got everything mostly down and they're in a convenient location, I definitely would go a bit more out of my way to drive out to this Tokyo Central location and in the process grab a great cup of their boba at Cafe Pruvia! read more

I saw this boba shop come up randomly on new spots in the area in one of the EATER Los Angeles articles and decided to give it a try. A treat at the end of the week. And a treat it was. I loved how none of the drinks were overly sweetened. We ordered the Hokkaido milk tea, lavender matcha latte and the taro milk tea. The boba and the teas tasted high quality and not overly sweetened like other boba spots to compensate for lack of flavor. Would definitely go back! Plus staff was super nice! read more

Their tea and boba is delicious! I got the passion fruit apple jasmine tea half sweet and my friend got strawberry milk tea half sweet. After finishing it in 5 minutes, we both immediately regretted not getting the larger size lol. Will definitely be returning. We also sat inside and everything was clean and socially distanced, I felt very comfortable hanging out there. Staff were very sweet and helpful. read more

Cafe Pruvia hands down has the best matcha in town. I've been coming here since they opened back in 2020, and I've tried almost everything on their menu, but for me, nothing beats their matcha. I don't know how they managed to do it, but they have the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. Every person I've met has always made me feel welcomed and served me with kindness. Their drinks are delicious! I got a mango jasmine tea with boba. The mango flavor was delicious and the drink wasn't sweet at all (if you have a sweet tooth then I suggest asking them to make it a bit sweeter) but it was perfect for me! You can get a student discount if you present your student ID which is cool! Their service is also absolutely amazing, because their staff is really kind and accommodating! I definitely recommend this place. read more

Was in the area, so thought i'd give Cafe Pruvia a try again and write an update. First of all, i think was greeted by the dad, very nice, kept the area very clean and wiped down everything after every order. That's good to see that they are serious of keeping everyone safe. Also very helpful with the ordering. I ordered my usual pruvia milk tea with black tea and boba. I have to say, the drink was excellent. Not only was the black tea nice and rich, the milk at 75% sugar was just perfect, and the boba was probably the most perfect i've had anywhere. Not overly soft, not hard, just perfect and the size is smaller and the type i really like. I think the sons were making the drinks and serving them, at the other door. Very efficient and quick. I also like the new cups they have with their name on them, they are really nice looking and sturdy as they should be. Really enjoyed it, will be back to try more! I happened to be in the complex and saw this shop and decided to get a passion fruit smoothie with boba. The boba was super soft!! The drink wasn't overly sweet. The cups are also a cool material they seem like they would be good to save and reuse! Like a matte material. I will definitely be back to try more drinks! read more

I came back a few days ago and the drinks were definitely top knotch here as always! Ty also mentioned they were selling macaroons and I am a hardcore macaroon fanatic. I was so pleased to know they were now selling some! It was crumbly and chewy and the buttercream was just perfect. I am never disappointed when I stop by! Customer service is way off the scale! It was not too fried/flaky. It was kind of like a taquito. The shrimps flavor was very fresh with a complementary umami flavor. The Sardine Sashimi was super high quality. It was super soft and fatty and ended with a heavy pleasant fishy flavor. The miso grilled cod was great. Not much to say about it was almost creamy and the miso was good. I ate the skin too and it tasted great. The main part of this place is the soba. The kikouchi soba are thicker 100% buckwheat noodles that were very well cooked and pleasant to eat. The Plum "Ume" broth was so refreshing and nice. I ate it cold; I probably would have preferred it hot but the is just a personal preference. The Ginger Pork was great. The pork itself was super gingery without being too pungent. The shredded cabbage was super easy to pick up and eat and the side of noodle salad and miso soup were great complements to the meal. I can tell no corners were cut anywhere and that Otafuku puts a little of effort into every meal they prepare. There is great care for all of the preparations and it was a very special meal. I felt like I was in Japan for a second as the feel of the restaurant is very "homey" and the ambiance is a nice cheerful atmosphere.

There is a little history buried inside Noon Korean Bingsoo House. Before Noon, this same…read morestorefront was Oncle's Cafe, a Korean inspired dessert and coffee shop that opened here in 2022. Somewhere along the way Oncle became Noon, the cakes and coffee gave more ground to bingsoo and the place changed enough that I still occasionally catch myself comparing what is there now with what I remember being there before. That may be part of why I have kept coming back. I remember Oncle being one of those easy little places where the service felt unusually attentive. Young guys behind the counter who seemed genuinely engaged, checking on things, keeping the room moving, making the whole experience feel cared for. Noon still occupies the same address and the bones of a good dessert shop are obviously still there, but the experience today feels considerably more transactional. The bingsoo itself is not bad. The machine is doing what it is supposed to do. The ice has that fine, soft, almost snow like texture that separates good Korean bingsoo from somebody simply attacking a block of ice with machinery. The problem, for me, is everything they put on top of it. I have tried enough of the menu at this point that I don't think this is a matter of choosing the wrong flavor. Strawberry, mango, the more elaborate combinations they consistently lean too sweet. Syrups, sauces, creams, fruit. Eventually all that sugar begins flattening the very thing that makes bingsoo so good. The delicacy of the ice itself. Instead of tasting individual ingredients, you start tasting sweetness in several different costumes. That is where Noon loses me compared with the better versions of this dessert. A great bingsoo lets you keep eating because nothing overwhelms anything else. Here, a few spoonfuls in, I'm usually wishing someone had simply stopped adding things. Then there is the experience of going. Parking in this plaza at the wrong hour can turn dessert into a minor logistical exercise. The lot is tight, dinner traffic makes it worse and the alternative is hunting around outside. Once you make it in, seating operates with that awkward first come first served ambiguity where someone who ordered after you can apparently have a table secured while you stand there holding dessert and waiting for another group to leave. The room itself often feels oddly unattended. Tables linger before being cleared. Surfaces can feel sticky. Nobody seems particularly responsible for making the dining room feel reset between customers. When it gets crowded, all of that compounds. People hovering for seats, groups talking over one another, trays sitting around, everyone negotiating the room themselves. None of this makes Noon terrible. That is probably the important distinction. The actual shaved ice is good. Some of the combinations are enjoyable. There are plenty of people who will probably prefer the sweeter style more than I do. And clearly the place has found an audience. Noon's current social presence identifies it as a Gardena bingsoo shop at this same Western Avenue location. I just find myself wondering why I keep making the effort. Maybe some of it is nostalgia for Oncle. Maybe I keep hoping the next visit will recover whatever made the old place feel more personal. But when getting dessert requires fighting for parking, negotiating a table, sitting in a room that feels half managed and then eating bingsoo that is considerably sweeter than I want it to be, there are easier ways to spend an evening.

I came to Cafe Pruvia with my friend, who's a regular here, and she's always raving about it. After visiting, I can see why she likes to stop by. The drink menu is pretty standard for a boba shop, but they offer a solid variety, so you'll definitely find something you like. I went with a taro swirl with less sweetness, and it hit the spot. There are plenty of seats, and it's surprisingly quiet, so you could easily get some work done or even study here. It made for the perfect place to catch up with my friend. As for the service, it was decent. We did wait a little longer than expected, but there was a larger group ahead of us, and it looked like there were only two people working. Totally understandable, so no complaints there. Overall, I'll definitely be back! It's a great spot to relax and enjoy a drink. read more

Unfortunately downgrading to 3 stars. The reason being this place is extremely stingy with their boba (see photos). Every time I come here, I pay extra for double serving boba, which is fine, but my drink is ALMOST $7 and the boba amount is still so measly. When you pay for extra boba, you shouldnt walk away looking at the cup wondering if you got extra boba. It doesn't make for a good experience. They say their scoop is measured but I know from past boba work experience that those scoops dont pick up much with all that liquid and syrup. I hope Cafe Pruvia will improve their boba serving because there's many other boba places in the same plaza/nearby area to support and their boba servings are more reasonable in comparison. read more

As a boba connoisseur I wanted to try Pruvia which I discovered by chance during a visit to Gardena. I ordered the Grapefruit Crema with oat milk, a frozen granulated drink with the consistency of an Icee or Slurpee. It was FANTASTIC! Refreshing and flavorful, I didn't want it to end. Pruvia's decor is classy and elegant, and the service was friendly and quick.
