The owners were super kind and paid attention to all our needs and got everything for us before we even stood up because they knew! We were greeted when we came in and they both said goodbye :) It was adorable. The drinks were so so good and not too sweet! The soufflé had a cream sauce that was to die for and the bagels were a perfect balance. I loved the sauce on the bagel and the freshness of the ingredients! Would come back here

I didn't really enjoy my experience here and wouldn't come back. This spot is super close to pike place and the Inside the spot is pretty cute and is well decorated. We saw that this spot does sushi and cafe and thought it was a bit odd but wanted to try. We saw that this place was known for soufflés and saw that there was a sign that it would take about 25 minutes to make so thought it would be good. Overall we thought the soufflé was not very good and that it just tasted like egg whites and that the best part of the dish was the plain berries, I don't think the 3 of us had more than 5 bites each. The drinks were fine, the lemonade was really really sour. The sushi dish we got was pretty fun, it even came with a little fire on the side which was fun and the rolls were pretty large. Overall the sushi was fine, I didn't have very much of it as I had eaten earlier.

Cafe Remix is technically in Belltown but it's really close to Pike Place Market, so parking situation is still very similar to that of downtown Seattle; abysmal and hard to find. When you do get here, you're welcomed to a restaurant of many offerings, though their souffle pancakes have been making the most rounds on my social media as of late. There's many tables and some bar seating to sit at, and water and utensils are self-serve up near the front entrance when you're inside. Their menu is on a tablet at the front counter, and you can choose from souffles to lattes to sushi to a large selection of drinks to even bagels. For our food here: - We shared the strawberry matcha souffle pancake. It's jiggly which is perfect, and took maybe around 20 minutes to make. They give you a ton of sweetened matcha-flavored cream on the top of the pancake, and they don't skimp on the strawberry pieces either. Pancake was really fluffy and eggy inside. - My bestie got their ube latte, which tastes heavily of ube without the caffeine associated with coffee. Not too sweet, though it was a smidge watered down. - I got their rain fog, which was a coffee latte with whip cream and what looked and tasted like Oreo/coffee bits. Coffee was piping hot and stayed that way for our visit. Staff was really kind and answered all our questions pertaining to what was inside our lattes to keeping us in the loop when our souffle pancake would take slightly longer than expected. I wanna come back and have the other items on their menu!

My brother was aching to try soufflé pancakes and I don't know why we didn't try them in Vegas where we were last week. Kinda glad we didn't because we tried Cafe Remix instead. Don't be in a hurry when you come here because if the restaurant is full, you'll be waiting for 40 mins, but it's worth it. As we waited we tried the gyoza and the sauce that came with it was banging. So good! Bro tried the Ube soufflé pancake with brown cheese, which I think is that Alpine cheese you can get at Trader Joe's and that dish was freaking delicious. The ube sauce which tastes like condensed milk was gorgeous and delicious and the savory cheese mound made this pancake stand out. Sis got the strawberry mango soufflé which was really good. The strawberry sauce reminds me a little of yogurt and the unripe diced mango cubes were great with the dish, because the slight sourness of the fruit was a nice counter to the pancake, both by bringing an acid profile and in mouthfeel. I had the classic, which was whip cream and maple syrup and though it tasted fine, it made me regret not getting an Ube soufflé for myself. I am so coming back here to eat some more of the gyoza and ube because I'm still thinking about it so it was more than just good- it was memorable.

Cafe Remix is a must visit for the souffle. It's absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the menu! However, the rest of the meal was a bit of a mixed bag. We tried the spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura udon, and a matcha latte. The spicy tuna roll was massive, but it contains cream cheese, which wasn't quite my style. While it is filling, the quality was just average. The shrimp tempura udon was a bit disappointing, it tasted identical to the instant variety you can buy at Costco. While I actually like those fried shrimps(also from Costco), the price at the cafe should be lower for a pre packaged product. Lastly, the matcha latte was very weak mostly water with just a hint of matcha flavor. My recommendation: Come here for the souffle, but keep your expectations modest for the savory menu.

I spotted this place on Yelp and was excited to try their soufflé! Walking into the café felt more like stepping into a nightclub--dim lighting and music pumping at full volume. It made chatting with friends a bit challenging. We asked if they could turn it down since it was giving us a headache, and thankfully, the staff were super accommodating and lowered it for us. Ordering is a breeze--you can use the tablet or go through the cashier, whichever you prefer. We tried a few soufflés and some kimbap, and everything was absolutely delicious. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor.

Cafe Remix is a nice spot nustled in the Belltown area close to Pike place. I walked here with a friend from another spot but parking is just street parking around Pike place as a heads up. It was a cute asian cafe that some people would study or just catch up with friends. They are usually busy making the Souffle Pancakes so make sure to be willing to wait for them. I wouldn't go out of my way for this but I just hate finding parking around the area. Staff: nice (4/5) Sanitation status: (4/5) Strawberry Matcha Souffle Pancake (5/5) I definitely envisioned more cream on top but it was still really good. The pancake was really fluffy and the sweetened matcha cream paired really nicely. You could taste the matcha flavor in the cream and the fresh cut up strawberries were a good fruity touch.

Soufflé Pancake! It was yummy for the most part, but will say that the egg taste did end up bothering me. The cream on top was for sure delicious though! I believe there was a promotion going on at the time too where if you purchased a soufflé pancake, you got a scoop of ice cream. So heads up if it isn't offered anymore! It's really cute inside! The interior is light and welcoming, with many seats to choose from. They're constantly playing music, you'll see people doing work and hanging with friends. Overall experience was good! I'm not sure if I would get the soufflé pancake again though.

I've been dying to try the soufflé pancakes here and finally did! I came here after work on Thursday and was surprised to find I was the only one. Eventually a few ppl had shown up. The menu is so versed with drink options and pancakes. An UPDATE: there are now 2 sizes for the soufflé pancakes. Most of the pics here showed an old menu but they have since updated it to show: 1) small = $12 and 2) large = $22. 10/10: I got 2 fluffy small pancakes with matcha sauce and fresh strawberries. They have more sauce and toppings now! My goodness, these pancakes were SO delicious! They tasted eggy, fluffy and soft! The matcha sauce was perfect with the fresh strawberries. I'd get these again! They have stand mixers and i saw 3! They really take the time to make the dough from scratch. Thats why it takes about 15-25 mins to make...so be aware and have patience for the prep time. I also ordered the Einspanner and Bulgogi Kimbap. 8/10: The Einspanner was refreshing with sweet cream and a cookie on top. 5/10: The bulgogi was good and huge rolls but it was definitely hard to pick up and eat and would fall apart... 6/10: Service was just 2 guys and they were doing their best. My orders took a long time to come through but I was patient enough. The kimbap tho I thought would never come...but it did :) there were people that came in and out but I saw a couple and then 2 girls come and sit down to have drinks and a meal. It's definitely picture appealing. I'd come back again! I believe one of the guys was new or in training, only a slight assumption. And hope that the staff has more help next time! The BEST part: its exact amounts for your food and drink. Their motto is: no cash, no tax and no tip! There was no tax to pay for my drink and meals :) I did forget about them not taking cash when I had asked initially.

Rating out of 5: 4 out of 5 What I ordered: I visited Café Remix with my cousins and we ordered two soufflé pancakes with customizable toppings. We chose the matcha strawberry and the yuzu mango combinations. We also ordered a few savory dishes, including the jajang fried rice, a Korean-style egg sandwich, and their kimbap. Highlights: The soufflé pancakes were impressively bouncy and pillowy, and the flavor combinations were creative and satisfying. I appreciated that the toppings could be customized. Just be aware that the pancakes take about 20 to 30 minutes to prepare. Among the savory items, everything was well seasoned, but the standout was definitely the Korean street-style egg sandwich. It was flavorful, saucy, and memorable. Service: The café is run by a mom and her sons, which adds a warm, family-run atmosphere to the space. There was plenty of seating available inside. The business model is unique--there is no tipping and no tax, which seems to be built into the price. While that makes it slightly pricey, it felt transparent and fair. Service was efficient and friendly.

Cafe Remix advertises themselves as a no cash/no tax/no tip korean snack bar. I love the idea of prices with no hidden fees. Their menu is so cute and delicious with very reasonable prices. My friend and I ordered the Seoul Sandwich (without the ham) and the strawberry matcha soufflee pancake. The sandwich came out first and was delicious! There was so much flavor in every bite, and the little snacks it came with on the side were so yum. The soufflee pancake took some time to make (as expected) but it was also good. I know they are known for their pancakes, but I would recommend the sandwich instead. The pancake was a little lacking in flavor, but I still enjoyed trying it. I would definitely want to come back here to try some other menu items. I really wanted to rate this 5 stars, but there was one incident which felt rude to me. After finishing our food, we had half of our pancake left, so we asked for a to go box. Went I asked for 2 small ones, she said they didn't have small ones, but i clearly saw them back there. She handed me one really big tin to go box. I asked her if the smaller one next to it was available instead and she seemed really annoyed and handed me one (but I asked for 2). When I asked for another one, she, once again, looked annoyed and reluctantly handed me another. It made me feel like I did something wrong, which was really uncomfortable, and I would've appreciated better communication instead. I really liked the other people who were working, and they were very accommodating and answered our questions about the menu. They were also able to make the sandwich vegetarian. The last interaction makes me nervous to come again, but hopefully it was just an off day.

    Open seating space

I think from the pictures they redesigned the interior of the place which was nice. There's a lot of different seating; tables for big groups, 1-on-1 tables, bar seating, etc. The cafe has a good date/chill vibe to the place - Also, owner was really nice and helpful in helping me choose what to order. My sister and I got: Ken's Special (the meal with flame, great portion sizes!) Jumbo salmon rolls (again HUGE rolls!) We got two teas which was a nice alternative with a good amount of options for flavor. I'm usually not too crazy about portion sizes but we got two dishes and shared - we left feeling really full and would definitely come back again

I wanted to try this place since they had their soufflé and I never had one before. Unfortunately it wasn't as amazing as I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be a lot more sweet, but it wasn't that sweet. The "jiggle" wasn't cool to see in the beginning. But overall, the taste was good/okay. It definitely isn't worth it too because it costed $22. We had it with strawberries and strawberry cream and it was good. The service was nice. The server was kind and helpful and gave us a sample of one of their deserts. The soufflé did take a bit of time to make. Maybe around 25 mins. But it does make sense since soufflés usually take long to make. The ambiance is cool. There's plenty of seating and there are a lot of Korean snacks throughout the store that they sell. It's organized too which I like.

I went on a weekday evening and was able to walk in without a reservation and the host sat my party immediately. The space has an industrial vibe, minimal decorations and an open kitchen in the dining area with another kitchen hidden in the back. We started off with a gochujang margarita which had a little spice but the flavor of the gochujang got lost and I couldn't really distinguish it. The NY Tiki Time cocktail was a stunner, the flavors of the citrus, pandan and rum blended smoothly together. I had to take a photo when the drinks arrived. For the apps we ordered the yellowtail and octopus. The presentation really was remarkable and well plated. The yellowtail was in between layer of thinly cut turnip that had a lemon verbena component to it. It was shaped into a flower and placed on a plate in naengmyeon broth. The octopus was tender and in a delicious cream sauce with some roe as decoration. For the mains we got the squid fried rice with kimchi, bacon, smoked quail egg. We also ordered the branzino gui with seasonal vegetables. Both were well seasoned and tasty but I think I enjoyed our drinks and appetizers the most. The staff were slow and intentional with their service and no one seemed in a frantic hurry. The tone of the place was calm and none of our servers gave off an overly pretentious attitude (my biggest gripe with fine dining). Will most definitely come back as soon as possible and can't recommend enough.

This time, I checked out Chan Seattle, and baby, they left NOTHING on the table. I enjoyed my entire experience from start to finish. When I arrived, there was a sign asking guests to wait for the hostess to be seated. I stood there for about 2-3 minutes, but no one ever came to the hostess stand, so eventually I just seated myself at the bar. ‍ Not a huge deal, but definitely worth noting. Chan is located inside a hotel, and the restaurant itself is pretty spacious. The actual bar only seats about three people, but there's also open-kitchen counter seating with maybe 8-10 seats. I grabbed a seat at the bar with my book, although I mainly ended up listening to a podcast while I ate. Perfect little solo dinner vibe. One thing that made me laugh: the restroom is part of the hotel, so Chan staff actually have to give you a key to access it. Top-flight security over there! Now, THE FOOD. I started with a glass of cava from the happy hour menu and the tuna tartare, topped with avocado, radish, and sunchoke. Both were $10 each. For my meal, I ordered the roasted cauliflower from the happy hour menu for $10 and the small portion of Alaskan black cod from the protein menu. Everything was absolutely delicious, but that tuna tartare?! That was the star of the evening. Fresh, flavorful, and easily the dish I'd order again without even looking at the menu. The service was wonderful too. The bartender seemed a little stiff and rigid when I first sat down, but he eventually warmed up and I got to see his kind and friendly side. He was attentive and offered recommendations, which I always appreciate when I'm trying somewhere for the first time. The regular menu prices are definitely on the higher side, but Chan has $$$ on Yelp, so you know what you're signing up for. That said, the happy hour specials are GREAT and make it easy to try several dishes without running the bill all the way up. Between the food, service, atmosphere, and happy hour, Chan Seattle is absolutely a must-try. I'll definitely be back on a future Seattle visit, and the tuna tartare already has a spot on my repeat-order list!

Service was super friendly and quick. My friend and I shared the pork sliders, brussel sprouts, beef cheek ragu rice cakes, wagyu ssam, and the ginger crème brulee. Everything was so surprisingly yummy. Pork sliders were juicy, flavorful, nice fluffy bun. Good proportion of bun to filling. Brussel sprouts at first were your average well made sprouts, but when we reached the bottom of the dish where the sweet potato puree was, it changed the entire flavor profile of the dish! So good. Maybe better served in a wider bowl so we could appreciate the puree sooner haha Beef cheek ragu was super good too. Flavorful rich sauce and I loved that the rice cakes were extra thick and charred on the outside. Made for the perfect texture: lightly crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Wagyu ssam was great too. Not as standout as the other dishes, but solid steak pieces that were perfectly tender. I think my favorite has to be the ginger crème brûlée. The ginger flavor is light, and the hardened sugar on top tastes like crystallized ginger candy when chewed. The doenjang caramel drizzle balances it out as well. Overall, a fantastic meal. It's definitely on the pricier side, and all the dishes could use a bit less salt, but I will definitely be thinking about that crème brûlée for a long time
