Their micro- diced ham was too crumbly. It didn't hug the egg if that makes sense.

Cute place. Was really excited to try this place. Met and old colleague/ friend. I got the hot vanilla latte - was tasty. My friend got the cap and he said it was nice and strong. I got the ham breakfast burrito with the orange sauce and friend got the veggie burrito with orange sauce. I unfortunately have to say, I did not like my burrito. (My usual meat choice for breakfast.) There something about micro- diced ham that doesn't work for me. It was like it "repelled" the egg to stick together. Their orange sauce was like a thick whip spread. I prefer my sauce drizzle-y. I'll need to try their other menu items next time... Would come back for their coffee.

Chorizo Burrito came out hot and really hit the spot. It's BIG.

Hey y'all, how come no one ever told me about Rosalena. Dang! I stopped here to try out their Chorizo burritos. They are LARGE. It was so good with papas, and the salsa roja paired well with it. I could not finish that bad boy. This place is easy to find, it looks like an renovated car repair shop, with glass roll up doors. It's clean, well lit and has plenty of seating.

Ordered a pesto chicken sandwich and it was very tasty with roasted bell peppers. My husband got a Cobb salad that looked good. Also got a banana bread looked fresh. This is in a plaza with a few other cafes, good location that you could get an item from each place. There's parking in the back. I would come here again and get a breakfast burrito next time.

I love this place, I usually only DoorDash from this location but I decided to give the a visit , this place is so cute and very clean the environment is so welcoming. The burritos are always delicious they never disappoint. The employees are always very kind and helpful.

Picked up two burritos on Saturday morning, it wasn't busy which was great because it made the trip fast and easy! Street parking was a bit challenging, had to take a small walk over, I believe there is a shared lot in the back. They do have a seating area and lots of sunlight. Could've had a bit of upkeep cleaning but otherwise it was a spacious seating area. Now the bacon breakfast burrito with their medium sauce was delicious!! I ate half and had the rest the next day because it was that filling!!!

Portion size is great and service was friendly. My only gripe is the potatoes arent crispy so the overall texture of the burritto was mushy. It was also just kind of salty (but the orange sauce definitely helped). It's good value but not standout taste/texture-wise

I'd give this place a 3.5 star just based off of my all meat breakfast burrito. Service is great, the team members are attentive and friendly. My first time here so I decided to go all out on the all meat burrito. It is HUGE. Biggest breakfast burrito by far i've ever had, bigger than any super burrito I've ever had as well. It comes packed with bacon, chorizo, sausage, and ham. Now it is a lot of toppings but unfortunately it lacks flavor, pretty bland with the egg and potatoes. The orange sauce they provide is pretty good, a thicker type of sauce almost reminds me of creamy chipotle. Again, this burrito is so big you can eat half for breakfast and the other half for lunch.

I've heard a lot about the breakfast burritos here and wanted to give it a try! I happened to be here the same day as the owner and he gave me a free cookie on the house for being a first timer :) I ordered a steak breakfast burrito and a fresh squeezed OJ! I was honestly questioning my decisions because it is definitely on the pricey end. However, it came out and I felt like the burrito was bigger than my hand. You can easily eat this burrito for three meals LOL. I paired mine with the orange salsa! It was good, but I do wish it was a bit less greasy/soggy. I still enjoyed it, but there's no way I could finish this whole thing in one go. The orange juice on the other hand was SO good. It was sweet and refreshing after getting out of a yoga class nearby! Service was good, but it's definitely a popular spot. Be prepared to wait 20-25 minutes for your burrito on the weekend.

The Mexican salad I had today was delicious. The amount of protein and salad was very generous. It's nice to know there's a good restaurant near my work where I can get a good salad whenever I feel like it. The food came out quickly and was fresh. The restaurant is cozy and clean, and there is also outdoor seating available. I will be back to check out other items on the menu. If you are in the area, please check out this cafe. I highly recommend it!

I ordered a chorizo burrito which took about 10 min to be ready. You get to choose red/orange/green salsa and I went with orange. The burrito itself was ok in my opinion. I felt like the potatoes and chorizo were pretty dry and I really needed the sauce to power through the burrito to add more moisture and flavor. Sauce was quite delicious though! Definitely added to the experience.

It's easy to see why Café Rosalena has become a longtime favorite for San Jose locals--the consistency and generous portion sizes really stand out. If you're ever craving a breakfast burrito, this spot is a must-visit since you'll almost certainly have leftovers. We tried one of their breakfast burritos and the chicken quesadilla, and I easily had enough food for two meals. The real star was their addicting orange crema sauce because it balanced out the richness of the cheese, especially on my quesadilla. Prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and efficient, and while parking can be a bit tricky, it's worth it. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu (and maybe check out their drinks too).

I saw someone raving on social media about how Cafe Rosalena has the best breakfast burritos so I had to try! They were definitely right. I got the chorizo burrito and was HEFTY. The tortilla was soft and inside it was the perfect ratio of eggs, chorizo, and potatoes. For only $12, I'd say this is a pretty good deal. Of course, I also had to try their famous orange sauce. I even got an extra one for an additional 50 cents. Unfortunately, the orange sauce was kind of underwhelming for how much it is hyped up. It wasn't as flavorful as I was expecting; it was mostly creamy with a mild spicy kick to it. However, it did pair very nicely with the burrito. There's a parking lot in the back - enter through the side entrance right next to Crema. I would definitely come back here to try their other breakfast burritos and salsas!

I wanted to eat this after getting groceries on a Sunday morning and the taste of this breakfast burrito is just amazing. It's super hearty and filled with potatoes, eggs and bacon and then pan fried to get that crispy skin. I ordered online and it took a little bit long (30 min) to get my order. There is very limited street parking however I never had an issue finding it. There is a lot of seating in here, pretty cozy atmosphere to have a nice breakfast. Would highly recommend if you aren't worried about the wait or parking

They had some Fanime specials for the con (katsu and egg salad sandwiches, spam musubi), seasonal drinks, of course coffees and teas, and non caffeinated drinks, as well as some food too (heated up pastries, both sweet and savory). There's a restroom with a code and a couple seats and tables with outlets to charge your devices. Service was welcoming and efficient especially after the crowds started to pick up. I got the: 1) Egg Salad Sando: -You can tell these were handmade in store. They had cute washi tape to hold the packaging together. -Solid egg salad sandwich. Slightly sweet white bread and generous amount of egg salad inside the sandwich. Creamy mayo taste that isn't too sour or tart, lots of egg in it. Perfect for an anime con next door. 2) Cappuccino: -I got this no sugar and sugar free and it came out with some pretty latte art. I thought it was mostly ok and boyfriend thought so too, but after several sips and when it was too late since we really had to get to the con, it just became too disgustingly sweet for him and he had to throw it away. 3) Yuzu Fresh Fruit Sparkler: -Yuzu puree with sparkling soda water. -Refreshing and not bad, but even after mixing this was a bit sweeter than what I would have liked and again, in our rush to leave, we couldn't really get this adjusted. I ended up pouring most of it in a water bottle to enjoy later and put in my bag. But ended up not finishing it in the end. Maybe next year I'll try again or just stick to the food stuffs.

When walking, we missed the restaurant initially because this place is clearly, a hidden gem, especially being hidden along the nightclub strip. We were blown away by the curated vibes. From the thoughtful decor to The Office being projected on the wall. It felt hip, fresh and refined. We decided to craft our own drinks - Arnold Palmers, his favorite. But they only had sparkling lemonade, which actually made it even better. We shared a salad that had some cooked pears and squash alongside the greens, walnuts, cranberries and blue cheese. I do feel like the cooked sweet elements overpowered the salad with their sweetness and textures a bit. Wondering if a refreshing pear for crunch or more dressing could have brightened it up and provided a salty, sweet balance. I ordered the Short Ribs with a parsnip purée and roasted carrots and it did not disappoint. Everything paired beautifully together, perfectly salted and cooked. I finished the entire plate. Dad got the Pork Chop and while it was overcooked, he loved the flavors happening in the dish and was pleasantly surprised by the refreshing treatment of the kale. The staff was attentive and very friendly. Overall a great experience. We would definitely come back!

Our server Charles was really great. He walked us through the menu giving us the 911 on watch to order. Most of the plates were perfect shareable bites. Making it easy to try multiple plates and really get your inner Foodie on. We started with the Seasonal Banana Pancakes with crushed walnuts and cinnamon maple syrup. Inside the pancakes were fresh bananas and the walnuts were crushed very small but added a great texture. Moving on to the Chicago Steak sandwich don't get confused but in Chicago they refer to Roast Beef as steak. The Au Jus dip was very flavorful without being a salt bomb. Loved the potato roll they used all round a killer sandwich. Going a little outside the box we tried the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The pineapple slaw with this amazing peppery chutney type sauce played so well with the acid of the pineapple. Another must have sandwich. I ask you how can you go to a new restaurant and not have some dessert. With everything else being so good our expectations were pretty high and we were not disappointed. The Giant Profiterole is exactly that GIANT and stuffed with White Chocolate Gelato and Hot Chocolate Sauce that you can drizzle over the top. To fricken die for good. If you are in Willow Glen and you don't stop here you are missing out on something wonderful. Be kind to one another

When we were seated, we were given a list of items that were not available. I originally wanted to try the pancakes but ended up ordering the chicken sandwich instead. This was genuinely one of the worst chicken sandwiches I have ever had. It was extremely gristly, fatty, and made with dark meat, which felt like an odd choice for a chicken sandwich. I'm not sure why this cut of chicken was used. The fries were alright, but they did not come with the sandwich and cost an additional $5. Our total came to almost $90 for three entrees with no beverages. I was especially frustrated because my sandwich was inedible. For the price and quality, I will not be returning and would not recommend this place.
