Pretty solid tacos! I ordered lengua, asada, and pastor. My favorite from the three was the pastor since it was smokey and juicy. Lengua was okay, would consider trying a different meat next time. They offered a variety of salsas though none of the ones I tried were spicy -- I was expecting the orange sauce to taste similar to the ones at Spartan tacos or La Vic's. My order was ready in about ten minutes. Plenty of seating and there's other food trucks surrounding the area. Great location if you're looking to try other foods/trucks!

If you're ever looking for an amazing taco spot, look no further this place is it. The tacos are insanely good. I got the al pastor and let me tell you, super fire . The quesabirrias are delicious, and the birria ramen is on another level. They use the consome as the broth and it's loaded with meat and cheese definitely a must try. The agua de fresa was insane, seriously addictive. They also have a salsa bar, which is super convenient, with salsas ranging from mild to spicy, plus lemons and cucumbers. Service is super quick and everyone is really nice. I also liked that they have a canopy set up for colder days with heaters going, nice touch. It's a little on the pricey side, but honestly, it's 100% worth it.

Love the tacos here - the tortilla is nice and fresh, and all the meats we got were pretty flavorful (asada, pastor, lengua). The cabeza was our least favorite because it was a little on the slimy side! I also appreciated the variety of salsas available. I feel like it was a bit on the more expensive side but worth it. There are foldable tables and chairs where you can enjoy your meal right in front.

My husband and I don't frequent taco spots much since 2 of our fave spots closed down during the COVID era. So I always feel bad when a visitor to the Bay Area asks me what are my recs for good tacos/Mexican food and I don't have a rec to give them. Well as of last night, it's Tacos Mi Reynita. We came here at 8:30pm on a Sunday night and it was still busy. Parking was a little difficult to find and the area is fenced off but we managed. Music was blasting and the tables were clean. The self serve salsa bar had cucumbers, radish, lime, and 4 different types of salsa. The food came out quickly. Highlights: Love the handmade tortillas, clean truck, salsa bar refilled frequently, and charcoal grilled meats. The tacos are stuffed with meat (no double tortilla here!) and individually wrapped. Carne asada tacos - great flavor, higher quality meat and Tijuana style with guacamole on top! This was our favorite. Al pastor tacos - if a place can do good Al pastor, it's a good sign. I will say the Al pastor here is not as sweet (I prefer pineapple notes) but it was still delicious. It is a bit too spicy to enjoy as much so if you're sensitive skip this. This one is done on a trompa (a must!). Lengua tacos - wow. It's rare that I get a good lengua taco done right. Delicious and so soft! Chicken tacos - a bit bland but I like that the chicken pieces were big and not shredded chicken. If this place gets more popular than it already is, I just pray the quality stays the same. Bring cash because there's quite a surcharge.

Situated in a food truck lot is this spot that serves delicious Tijuana style tacos with freshly made tortillas. I've been searching for tacos like these ever since my days in San Diego and this scratches the itch. I enjoyed the Carne Asada but my favorite was the savory Al Pastor which is thinly shaved from the rotisserie. The parking situation is confusing, but don't let that deter you from having some great tacos!

Dammm the onions were good. Solid tacos I do recommend adding some of the sauce on there. Idk about some of the claims I've heard here but it was great. Service is pretty good. I enjoyed the asada and would come back to try out there birria tacos. Tuesdays they have discounted tacos to and definitely recommend coming during that day as it's kinda pricy on other days. They have a canopy tents for outside seating. Also a pretty decent amount of seating and parking.

I was so happy to learn that my favorite taco spot in Oakland has a San Jose site. I had the crunch wrap with Al pastor and boy does this pack a punch and is good value! The lengua taco was fantastic. I don't like it when taco places chop up the lengua too fine, this place does it right and each soft cube of tongue was yummy. The birria ramen was ok, the birria meat was tender but I think I prefer my birria on tacos or something handheld. The vampiro was crunchy, comes with cheese and loaded with meat, onions and cilantro. They offer a variety of refrescas and classic horchata. Cash is king but they also accept credit card. Very casual place as in, the food truck was walking distance from where I parked my car in the lot. They moved addresses and are located at 2075 alum rock ave.

I'm so sad Mi Reynita is moving again! Starting 1/27/2026 they will be at the G Spot Food Truck village on South First Street in SJ. This place continues to be the tastiest Mexican street food in my opinion and today I tried their birria ramen without cheese. It was the perfect hot soup on a cold day with a decent amount of noodles and birria meat. I wish they would serve it with a tortilla de harina but next time I will just order an extra taco. The service is fast and friendly and although they get very busy, it is always worth the wait!

I accidentally went to the wrong location and it turns out they have 2 locations fairly close by. I was influenced by an IG reel so I wanted to check it out. I went here for Taco Tuesday with a friend. Apparently it's discounted price for their tacos, except for the "specials." Pros: plenty of parking. Lots of seating. Self serve salsa bar. Card accepted. Fast service. Passionfruit agua fresca is good!! We each got 4 tacos. I got the Al pastor, carne asada, and lengua. I like Tijuana style tacos because of the guac part. Tacos held up nicely. To be honest, I'd say it's pretty decent tacos if you're looking for Tijuana style tacos. But I'd had better in LA and San Diego. There is a spot in Oakland that I like more. I'd rate this spot a 3.8/5. Not all the tacos had the guac part which I wanted. Could be saucier. Al pastor is the best one. I have to come back to try some of their other offerings.

They moved to a new spot just across the street from where they were originally! But really enjoyed their tacos especially their lengua! Service is fast, you order up front and then get a ticket for the truck to call your number. They also have a self serve sauce bar which i love! There's not many taco spots anymore that have the self service sauce bars! There's a lot of seating so you can dine in as well! Pricing wise I would say it's pretty average now, around $4 per taco and horchata was $4 for a large! One thing though to not is that the horchata was super watered down so it wasn't that great. Otherwise, get the tacos and their green guacamole sauce! To die for!

Really great Taqueria spot. Came here late on a Saturday night and it was super packed and I see why. Friendly people and the service is efficient. The truck is inside of a huge parking lot that's gated and there's plenty of parking. Well lit tent and many tables to sit and eat. What we ordered: Mango Fresco: Mango & passion fruit drink was very refreshing. Must try but caution there's a lot of sugar in it. Asada/Pastor Tacos: Hand made tortillas, Meat well seasoned. Guacamole sauce on the tacos was perfect. Asada Crunch Wrap: The best dish of them all. Hand made tortillas and the crunch wrap was lightly crispy and delicious. Asada Super Burrito: The least favorite dish. The burrito wasn't wrapped properly and the burrito was just ok for me. Overall this is still a must try place if you're in the San Jose area. I'll definitely be back.

With zero expectations, decided to try this taco truck. Pretty much a dice roll and hope for the best. Well today was my lucky day as I found me a taco spot to add to my rotation. Ordered al pastor, carne asada, and suadero. Also got a strawberry drink. All the meat choices were good, but for me the suadero hit the spot. Be sure to get the side of grilled onions to go with your food. Highly recommend.

It's a taco truck. They take cash or card or Zelle. And lemme tell you, if you have a hankering for authentic delicious tacos, this is one of the best places I've been to. The tortillas are hand pressed. The meats are all absolutely delicious, from pollo, to pastor, champechanos, suadero, etc. They have delicious salsas from frisky to burn your tongue, make sure to get the plate of grilled onions. They're so sweet, you'll be munching them between bites. Soooo good.

Plenty of parking available since the restaurant is in a strip mall. It wasn't too busy when we got there, but then it started picking up. There was only one server working and she was really hustling to meet everyone's needs. Plus, she was friendly. I had the carne asada burrito, it was good but nothing over the top that made it stand out. My friend had enchiladas with mole. We were most excited about dessert and decided to share the churros and Tres leches. It was a nice touch that the churros and Tres leches did not come plain, a little pizzazz since they were both served with berries, whipped cream, and a cajeta style sauce. Both of the desserts were so good and a perfect touch of sweetness.

Throughout the wait, several servers were gathered in the corner talking and laughing while tables--including ours--were left unattended. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the service. The meat was dry, lacked flavor, and the shrimp was so chewy that I couldn't finish it. It was honestly one of the worst shrimp dishes I've ever been served. My wife is Latina, so we're pretty familiar with authentic Latin/Mexican flavors, and from the moment we walked in, we were a little unsure of what to expect. We completely understand we're in Willow Glen and that Copita is going for a more upscale take, but for us, authenticity and flavor still have to be at the heart of the experience. Our waitress was very friendly and polite, and this review is absolutely not a reflection of her service. However, when we asked about the style of the food, there seemed to be a little hesitation in explaining it, which made us even more uncertain about what we had gotten ourselves into. I don't like bashing restaurants or their food, so I'll simply say that, unfortunately, the highlight of our meal was the chips and salsa. The cocktails, on the other hand, were good and definitely not shy on the alcohol! Also, don't expect large portions. The restaurant is clearly aiming for a more upscale presentation and experience, so the plates reflect that. Overall, Copita just wasn't for us. This was our first visit and unfortunately will probably be our last. I genuinely wish them success, but I think a few changes, especially when it comes to the flavors and authenticity of the food could make a big difference.
