7-Grain toast along with a hearty bowl of strawberries and cranberries...steamed milk. Healthy breakfast!
Sam H.

Just had the oatmeal with strawberries, cranberries and brown sugar with steamed milk...comes with 7 grain toast. Unbelievable! This place has so many great items on menu. I was not too hungry and the oatmeal sounded healthy. But this restaurant has many great choices on menu. To serve oatmeal and make it even greater is a reveal that all of their menu items are well made...more than satisfying. The server Maraianna has a warm and personable presence. I highly recommend this place. Very, very good.

Very cute brunch spot! The chilaquiles were really good, definitely recommend them! The iced coffees were okay. Friendly service. Definitely going back to get those huge mimosas one of these days. But definitely a good place to get brunch!

Ham & Cheese Croissant Dirty Iced Horchata Mazapan Iced Latte

Amazing and quick service , cute decor and location. I tried the mazapan latte and it's one of the best ones I've tried so far. Food menu is on the smaller side but the food quality is delicious I felt like I was eating at my grandmas house. Food is authentic , indefinitely recommend if you're in the area

Food here was delicious! They have a variety of different options for breakfast and lunch which is always pleasant to try new foods! The staff was very efficient and nice and recommended the perfect choice food! It's a quaint place with an upstairs and has a variety of baked goods. A must visit if your ever in Orange, CA

Average place with breakfast and lunch options. Moderate to high prices for the value and portion size. We had the club sandwich (7/10) with fresh avocado and real turkey. Good service. Located on Glassell near Orange Circle. Limited parking.

Chicken Enchiladas in Verde Sauce
Lynn C.

The portions are huge! My enchiladas were so full of tender chicken and the verde sauce has just enough 'kick' for me. This lunch came with a choice of side, I had the salad which was generous in size. Both were delicious. I appreciated our waitress, Calley, who was very attentive, even the manager came over twice to make sure we had everything we needed. Eager to go back. Also, their bakery items looked decadent. Several people bought them while we were there. Highly recommend.

It's a bit on the pricey side but the food is great and so is the customer service. They have an upstairs loft which is a nice touch and fun place to eat.

Mazapan Iced Latte and vanilla iced latte

First time going here it was a Friday morning and it was not busy so it was nice to be able to just walk in and sit. We ordered some ice coffees we asked if cold foam could be added which the serve said yes and we were happy. We also got a chocolate chip cookie a basket of fries and the zocalo chilaquiles and they were really good. The place was very calm and I enjoyed it.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, we have some outdoor seating

Do they have chocolate croissants?

Yes! And they are delicious and soft. But they have way more than that. I usually get something with nuts on it, or the fruit tart. Their coffee is pretty good too. They have big house cups like Starbucks used to have back in the day.

The server was very kind and helpful, he was communicative and attentive. And the food! The food was great! It tasted good, AND seemed healthy and nutritious. Also, I appreciated their variety of options. I have a dairy allergy, and am often quite limited in what I can comfortably/safely eat, especially going out for breakfast. But here, they had multiple alternative dairy options! I even was able to get an oat milk latte! I will definitely be back. Love this place and am so glad they opened up this location.

Our server was also nice and friendly. * Chilaquiles Verdes + Steak 4/5 - The chilaquiles came with fried tortillas soaked in green sauce and topped with cheese, sour cream (we got this on the side), avocado, red onion, and an egg. It rests on a bed of beans which we opted not to get. The chilaquiles were pretty good. We got the steak addon which was okay at 3.5/5, not very flavorful. * Pistachio Waffles 4/5 - This came with 2 pistachio waffles, pistachio ice cream, strawberry and caramel syrup, condensed milk, and topped with real pistachios. It was a nice to try something different. The waffle was good, but it didn't have a lot of pistachio flavor. We also got drinks. Both the Strawberry Horchata and the Mazapan Latte were very good 5/5. The Mazapan tasted exactly like its namesake candy.

The service was excellent, and all the servers were very attentive. Seated in the patio area, it was a very nice and airy open space with umbrellas shielding us from the sun. We ordered the Dubai Pancake, Chimichurri Steak and Eggs, Nutella French Toast, and the Strawberry Belgium Waffle. I was not able to take a picture of the Steak and Eggs because we devoured it so quickly! The steak was flavorful and cooked to our preference. We all loved the Dubai Pancakes, as they were fluffy and had a nice balance of sweetness and texture with the crushed pistachio nuts. We'll definitely be going back again!

We arrived at 8:30 for a planned 9AM breakfast. The hostess took our name and party size and then requested that we let her know when everyone arrived. She estimated 40 to 45 minutes. We were called a few minutes before 9 and seated. Great start Everyone ordered drinks and then the server came back and took meal orders. I went with my regular breakfast meal, French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. My girlfriend chose a spin on eggs Benedict with beef. Food came out quickly and was served hot. Everything tasted good and fresh for me. I especially enjoyed their bacon, cooked perfectly to my liking and fantastic flavor. Bonus that they served me 3 pieces. The server was especially helpful by allowing us to come to the register when it was time to pay and after telling her our orders she was able to charge us each individually which is always very helpful with a large group. Parking is challenging, they do have a small lot behind the restaurant but even with a compact car the spaces were tight. There is some street parking if you luck out and find a space. There are also municipal lots around downtown orange and the traffic circle which offer additional spaces. We will definitely return. Loved the kitschy decor and old gas station feel.

You will NOT be disappointed with Brunch Cafe! From the food to the friendly and fast service,…read moreeverything is just wonderful. We discovered this little corner place tucked away on Miraloma off of Kramer after a doctor appointment at Kaiser down the street because of the great reviews. Now we travel to this breakfast/brunch place from anywhere just to get the GREAT FOOD and friendly smiles! it always has people coming and going, to sit down or take out, so you can tell it is very popular. The seating is a bit limited, but we have never had to wait. Today, I had the three egg vegetable omelet (so lots to take home!), just packed with tomatoes, spinach and peppers, huge pieces of wheat toast and lots of berries and oranges. I also got a strawberry Belgian Waffle covered in fruit (it comes with cheese but I didn't like that). My husband got eggs and hash browns with sausage, which he devoured. Our entire meal was $50-something which I think was great considering I added on the waffle meal, so 3 total. Just delicious! I always thank the cooks. They deserve it! And they give you a huge cup of coffee (me) that is refilled and have many kinds of tea (him), and we always get the fresh squeezed OJ. I hope you try them out!

I placed an online order for our team, which included about seven items for the holiday weekend. Unfortunately, their online ordering system apparently failed, but no one informed me of the issue. I ended up waiting approximately an hour and a half without any clear communication or updates. When I politely asked about my order, the manager's response was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of listening to my concerns or trying to help, she repeatedly told me, "You're going to have to wait. There are so many orders." While I understand that businesses get busy, that's not an excuse for poor customer service or a lack of basic professionalism. What frustrated me the most was that she never took ownership of the situation, never apologized, and never attempted to find a solution. She seemed more interested in making excuses than helping a customer. A manager should know how to de-escalate problems, communicate respectfully, and make customers feel heard. Unfortunately, I experienced the exact opposite. To make matters worse, once our food was finally prepared, no one called out my name or notified me that the order was ready. Our food was simply sitting on the counter getting cold while we continued waiting because we had no idea it was finished. This entire experience showed a lack of communication, poor organization, and disappointing leadership. I understand that holiday weekends are busy, but strong managers lead during stressful situations instead of taking their frustration out on customers. I hope ownership looks into both the online ordering issues and the level of customer service being provided at this location. Based on my experience today, I cannot recommend this Chapman location until these problems are addressed.
