Very busy! Food looks yummy! They don't honor their check in freebie. Got the salmon cream cheese bagel and had to ask for all the "extras". I'm confused as to why they have a lox bagel picture on their menu but don't actually offer said item. The mushroom and avocado toast is pretty good. Coffee drinks are good. Their teas are a bit too watered down.

Found this spot & it's currently my favorite cafe. Love that it has many outlets to charge my devices & can work on my laptop. I had a bacon egg & cheese on a plain bagel. I love that they use maple bacon giving it a sweet flavor. Had it with an iced coffee with oat milk. They also have almond milk which is good for my non dairy folks like me. The second time i visited I had a dirty chai with a slice of cookies & cream cake. It was smooth & melted in your mouth. So good. They do have a lot to offer from boba, ice cream, pasta & sandwiches. Enjoy the alll day breakfast. Service is alway great & fast.

Maybe the best Boba tea I've had. The tapioca pearls were perfect. Good service and quiet, chill bubble tea shop. There were a lot of great menu items like bingsu and special Boba (i.e. Taro base with brown sugar syrup). Went here twice with teammates and will go again.

Popped in while waiting for a coworker for a coffee. What a great discovery! Great coffee, wonderful fruit teas and the food is really great. Wasn't going to eat until I saw everyone else. Go here if you are in the area.

The food was really good. Had a lot of flavoring and well seasoned. Although it looked like it was okay, the taste was a lot better than its looks.

One of the best places in York city to drink a coffee the coffee is so tasty and it's very affordable and I can say it's better than Starbucks the area is very nice and interior is amazing I am surprised by the quality and service they provide this coffee comes from Korea and I am surprised how good it is, is good to go with friends and family or just to study as well. read more

I think, from my 3 day stay in the neighborhood and trying a few coffee shops, this was my favorite in the area. Cheerful staff, light but decadent sweets, and rich robust coffee made for a very happy experience here. The espresso used is clearly quality and they know how much to use in order to create quality beverages. Kudos! read more

A nice cute breakfast/cafe place on canal street. I tried the matcha frapuchino ; unfortunately this was no way close to the green tea frap you get a starbucks. The matcha did not have enough body, it was more icy and was not worth a stop. The menu seemed huge and might have good food; though I have not tried it. Overall just OK! read more

This is a Korean café chain that exist in different locations around the city. Nonetheless, it's a great café to catch up with a friend or grab a quick bite. For a café, they have a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, desserts and cakes along with teas and coffees. Though they had a lot of interesting options like matcha flavor, I went for a classic hot latte. There's about 5-6 tables and seats along the window, so a mid sized café. I had a good time along chatting with a friend. It's also a 5 mins walk from the 6 train Canal street exit so quite convenient. read more

First time using Yelp and visiting New York, the busy streets got me dizzy and excited. I've heard about the Caffe Bene before in other countries but when I heard that there was one right next to the hotel I was staying in at and so I got excited and went on Wednesday. I went there around the evening for a small coffee run before going off to tour around and the service threw me off by surprise. They had great decor, light music, just the right temperature and also an amazing smell and aroma. I ordered a regular black coffee and a cheesecake, the cashier was very, very friendly and took my order with a big warm smile, it was pretty rare for me to see such a happy face in New York. I even asked if she was from here and we had a small, nice conversation. The cheesecake was creamy and went easily down my throat as I washed it off with the coffee. Amazing food, amazing service, and smart way to put their bathroom code and wifi password on the receipt. Might come back again this weekend!. read more

Cozy place with cute decor. I was walking by and it smelled delicious, so I stopped to get a coffee. I got one of the seasonal lattes. Not the best latte, but overall I was happy with it. It was sweet, but it would have liked a stronger ginger flavor and for it to be a bit hotter. They had an impressive looking bakery. The staff wasn't chatty, but they were nice. I asked for a recommendation and the girl admitted she had never had either drink. Prices were reasonable and I would stop by if I was in the area again. read more

the coffee shop is recently opened, with brand new renovation. The latte tasted great. The waffle and chess cake were also delicious. The interior design was elegant. The light was pretty bright, good for people who wish to spend sometime to read books. The staffs were friendly. I got a free bottle because of the promotion ( free bottle if you spend 20 dollars and more). Definitely will visit again if I am around the neighborhood. read more

Great value for a coffee and bacon egg and cheese bagel. Only $6 after tax. Very clean. Bagel wasn't as good as most NY Bagel but the bacon, eggs and cheese were on point. They also put and interesting twist on it. Again for $6 in NYC, hard to beat. read more

The staff here are very friendly. I got hot milk bubble tea, and the size and texture of the bubbles were perfect (they were large, and not too hard or soft). The flavor of the tea is also very good as the sweetness is not too overpowering. I was also pleasantly surprised with the taste of the fruit cup because they seemed relatively fresh for fall. Although some of the items are pricey, I stayed for a few hours to do homework so it felt worth it. I would like to come back to try more of the drinks. read more

Dear Caffe Bene Team, I am writing to provide feedback regarding an encounter my partner and I had at your establishment a few minutes ago. While the gentleman who took our order managed the transaction adequately, there were some concerning issues that we would like to bring to your attention. Our order totalled $33.25 for two coffees, a honey chicken sandwich, and a bagel. We prefer to use cash when supporting smaller businesses and provided the exact change. However, the gentleman at the counter requested a larger bill to facilitate making change for a tip. We understand the culture of tipping, but it is important to note that tipping is not mandatory. It is not the customers' responsibility to supplement staff wages, which is a matter for the business to address. What was particularly troubling was that he requested a tip despite providing service that was, at best, satisfactory. Additionally, when he served my coffee, he neglected to provide a lid. When I requested one, his response appeared to be passive-aggressive, which I found quite unprofessional and unpleasant. If this gentleman is unhappy in his role or feels the need to solicit tips inappropriately, it might be worth reassessing his suitability for this position. We have been staying next door at the Sheraton for six nights, and I have ordered coffee from your café every morning. Unfortunately, this experience on our last day has left us with a negative impression.
