Love the Americano...some of the best coffee in LA. Nothing will make the voices go away like a delicous cup from Cafe Luxxe.

Minimalist space. Coffee is good, but not amazing. They have some nibbles for sale, but over all the place just feels over priced. I mean, I know it's Santa Monica/Montana Ave, but I just want a good cup of coffee. For that price, the coffee better be incredible. Also, the space is a bit quiet. I would feel awkward meeting up with a friend and talking inside the shop. It is good for laptops, so that's nice. read more

I'm a fan of Caffe Luxxe been to 3 different ones and each time their latter is consistent in taste. While I'm no coffee expert, I prefer Luxxe over intellgentsia. I had a bad expereince over at intelligentsia. read more

Wonderful coffee and baked goods!! My absolute fave was the apple crostini with rosemary... it made me want to go home and try to recreate. This is one of our places in our cafe rotation. Yes, you are a cafe person if you have rotation for your favorite cafes.. And this one is great. I like the coffee and they have a nice selection of nibbles too. Good people watching place and we usually find a place to sit. You can find parking either on Montana or the side streets. read more

Great coffee here! I love the ambiance as well. It's pretty quite and chill. I love coming here to work for a bit. They play really good music too. Great coffee. We came on a Saturday at 12 pm and found a seat at one of their four tables. They also have two little counter areas to sit. Us and three other people were working on computers, but not sure if there was wifi as we weren't using. Latte and cap were beautiful and delicious. Staff was nice. They have a bathroom. Space was a little sterile and not as cozy for my taste. Art and music generic but overall we had a good experience. read more

Been here twice and theres always a lot of people. And judging by the good reviews I wanna say employees are nice to the regulars. But not to the other. The two times I've been there the employees have been rude. I live in the area and most places in santa monica have good costumer service. read more

Caffe Luxxe is a great coffee and tea spot. The coffee is drip coffee, and they make each one specific to the customer. The tea blends are fantastic, they have a special tea person that creates their teas. I like coming here, it's very cute, and I love the adorable bench outside of the store. read more

I used to love this coffee but, first off they don't serve almond milk...at a fancy shop like this? And their coffee was just okay. And the service was not top notch. I could have just been an off day. I'll come back and try it another day. read more

As much as I love Urth Cafe, Caffe Luxxe is above and beyond that. The cafe itself is really simple good amount of seating, both tables and bars then the counter are a bit further in with the restroom all the way to the end. The place does not have Wi-Fi, so if you plan to sit down and be there for a long time, there are three Starbucks down the street. First, I went there Saturday afternoon, and it was very busy. The second time, it was Sunday late afternoon, which was still good crowd but not nearly as busy. I only have chance to try the Mocha and the Latte, but the taste of both are exceptional. There Blueberry muffin also taste very good, it not too sweet nor heavy, but sure has awesome favor. The price also very competitive but for the quality that you will get, I worth every single penny. I am not a big coffee fan to begin with, but if I will have one, Caffe Luxxe would be my first choice. read more

Caffe Luxxe on Montana is so wonderful - the inside of this charming and fresh cafe is an amazing blend of modern parisian in greys with exposed brick on furthest wall gives it just enough of an old world feel, it is the PERFECT SETTING to sip a PERFECT LATTE - combine with my favorite cookie made with shortbread, powdered sugar and bit of carmel on the inside - no place comes close, crazy good. read more

Never tried any of the carb-laden goodies, but the coffee and plain espresso is damn good.

Great food at fairly decent prices. I have been to this location twice and always enjoyed deliciously prepared entrees and salads. This restaurant chain is consistent with the one in Los Angeles that I have frequented with my son when I am at the Beverly Center. Their meals and menus are standardized and they know how to do a good meal right from cleanliness, presentation, service, and dessert. Desserts can be ordered in advance for fresh from the oven flavor when you finish your meal, but I have to say I have always been satisfied with my salad or dinner entree and haven't had room to splurge. There are different drinks for each day of the week which is also a nice touch. read more

While I can't comment on the food or drinks as we walked out before being able to order.. this review is solely based on customer service. We live here on Montana and we're looking forward to trying out Luxxe to hopefully add it to our weekend coffee stops. We had just finished brunch across the street and decided to give it a try. As we had just finished eating my partner had forgot to don his mask as we walked in the shop. Instead of politely asking or reminding us the boy at the counter aggressively yells "Bro get your mask on! Get your mask on!" I work in healthcare and both my boyfriend and i take social distancing and wearing masks very seriously. We were yelled at in front of other patrons as though we were intentionally defying the mask regulations which was completely uncalled for. I understand tensions are high during these times but a little compassion and customer service goes a long way. We decided to take our business elsewhere after this disappointing experience and will probably continue to do so. read more

This is a must visit coffee shop for me every time I am near/in Santa Monica. My favorite is their Caramel Latte. Their coffee is individually hand-crafted and the quality is consistent. Unlike Starbucks, the staff there is extremely friendly and makes an effort to get to know you esp if you are just visiting the area. I don't care too much about their pastries but their hand-crafted coffee keeps me coming back! read more

Luxxe has the best espresso and mocha that I think I've ever had in a shop (I know it's heresy, but that includes Italy too). The chocolate they use in the mocha is ridiculously good, and works perfectly with the taste of their espresso. If you want a real treat, ask for a "breve" mocha, where they use half and half instead of milk, and then eat it with one of their butter cookies. wow... Every time I go to Luxxe there are more people on line, so I think word is getting around. Hopefully they will maintain their quality, but I'm not too worried since they seem like extreme perfectionists when making their espresso. Definitely worth a special trip to try this place. read more

I was looking forward to drink some good chai latte on a rainy day, but I was left disappointed. The chai latte is watery...no flavor whatsoever and over-priced, $3.75. I was hoping the chai would be good because of the raving reviews about all the other things, but it sucked. read more

love this place. love their iced apricot tea so much i bought myself a canister. Incredible alfajores and mini apple tarts. I spent about 5-6 hours here studying and bought 3 drinks, 6 desserts, 1 canister of apricot tea leaves, one ROSE hand lotion, and 2 alfajores togo, About $60 well spent if I must say so myself! The cappucino with latte art is as good as it gets! The best coffee I've ever had!! European ambiance and super-friendly baristas

The desserts are nice - I got to sample a few (a tart, a macaroon, and the dulce de leche powdered cookies). I've heard great things about the cappuccinos, but, while I thought that the small serving size was convenient, the drink was a little too strong for me (I'll have to stick with Intelligentcia). I did, however, appreciate that the foam was real cappuccino foam and not the seafoam crap you get at the big coffee chains. This place seems great for people who live around the area and decide to come here with friends, and I did see someone working there although I wouldn't say that it's a prime study/work spot. read more

This is a nice, very pristine, very crisp little cafe on montana. The cafe caramello is delicious and strong. I also had the earl grey tea and blueberry danish which were both quite tasty. However, I'm not sure if the air conditioning is usually like this but when I went the room temperature kept going from extremely freezing to warm (it seemed like the air conditioning would shut off for 5 minutes every 45 minutes or so). The room temperature literally made my drink cold. I'd try and find the perfect medium between the two. I really enjoyed the light music they played...it gave the place a calm, relaxing ambiance. I wish they stayed open past 8pm for us late night people. I'd also recommend some kind of seat cushions for those of us who need to hit the books for a few hours. That is all...overall great coffee/study place on the west side. Oh yeah and free Wi-fi is always a bonus!! read more
