While walking around Little Italy recently we dropped into Caffe Palermo to try out their proclaimed #1 cannoli in the world, a slice of tiramisu, and a few cappuccinos. The cannoli was ok as I have had better, but it was decent. I thought the tiramisu was actually better - creamy and tasty. For the price I felt the cannoli here are a bit small. It's basically a tourist spot so above average pricing is expected. Seating is cramped but service was fine.

Cannolis were fresh but a little too cinnamon forward as the cinnamon over powered the ricotta cheese.

The literal best cannoli ever! Love the service, also the cannoli king himself was there and he was so sweet!

I went here 11 years ago and literally haven't stopped thinking about this almond cheesecake cone. Being back in nyc for the week my husband and I had to go see if it would live up to our memories. Somehow it exceeded our expectations. The cafe is cute, the service is attentive. We ended up sharing a table with some strangers and we sat and talked for over an hour! Love this place!

Came back to this place after many years! Their ricotta cheesecake is deliciously made and all fresh. Got cannoli too, highly recommended for dessert and coffee after dinner. Love their service too! Great memories with friends and nice ambiance

Only tried the canolis and they are pretty terrific! It was late at night, they were prefilled but the shell was still fresh with a crunch and the filling is thick, creamy, rich and sweet.

This was our first time here, it caught my eye while walking and I saw the cannoli king! I was ok let's see if they are that good. We sat down and waitress stopped at our table real quick. The husband had the affogato and my daughter wanted a drink but they had no syrup for the one she wanted. Ordered 2 cannolis, strawberry cheesecake and a plain cheesecake. Cannolis were good! Tasted fresh n the shell was good as well. The husband liked the affogato and the cheesecake. All the staff were friendly n quick. Nice assortment of desserts! Will come back when back in the area.

Love this cafe in Little Italy and have been here many times. There are so many different pastries and treats it is hard to choose. For cannolis there are so many different unique flavors and variations like chocolate, caramel, etc and they have mini sizes too if you don't want the big ones which is great. My favorites were the Maritozzo and lobster tail. The cream tastes super fresh and yummy. I've tried their chai, chocolate chai and vanilla chai. All were good but many times they were out of the regular chai so I had to opt for the chocolate as that was the only one left. I also wish they had larger sizes for the drinks as the cup was quite small. The tables are only for sitting down and table service but not if you order to-go from the counter.

Caffé Palermo 148 Mulberry St. New York, NY 10013 Cookies & Crème Cannoli This was my first time trying a cookies and creme filling in a cannoli. The crunchy outer shell and ricotta cheese mixture was spot on; the only problem was choosing one flavor as this location had many choices!

i really do not understand how this place dubs themselves the cannoli king. as an italian american, i personally really hated the cannoli here. the filling lacked any taste of ricotta cheese that is typical of a cannoli, it tasted like icing on a sugar cookie. i couldn't take more than two bites before tossing it out. the shell was slightly overcooked and just not great. there wasn't any nuts on the edges or candied fruits inside. idk if there were chocolate chips but if there was,,, undetectable. i feel bad that i spent 8 dollars for a cannoli here. would not return.

    1) Table Service - you seat yourself and place order with server. You can't order from counter and sit down. 2) Counter service - don't dare sit down that is to go only. I usually do table service unless it's super slammed or I want a sweet treat to go. Cannolis are amazing- few flavors mini and reg sizes. My newer faves recently are the Amaretto Tiriamisu and Cheesecake comes (small and large too). Always a delight coming here, friendly staff. Yummy dessert cocktails, coffee/espresso drinks aa well.

Cannoli's don't disappoint, we got a couple of 1 biters and they were delightful. Love the classic. The pistachio was my favorite. The Italian cookies were a bit dry. We was eyeing the avocado shaped cheese cake. The young lady behind the counter advised us it was by that great and the lobster tail was a lot better. We went off here advice and she wasn't kidding. Flaky on the outside and creamy filling. It was very good.

Even if we wouldn't have gotten a window table and it wasn't Christmas, the vibes and interior of this place would have still been great. We went in December night of 2024 so some aspects of the menu have changed however, most of the dishes still appear to be on their menu as of now, June 2026. It appears most changes comes to the type of pasta used in a dish, aspects around a dishes main focus and gelato/dessert flavors. Everything we ordered was an 8 or above out of 10. The beet salad (BARBABIETOLE) is easily 10/10 and a top 3 salad we have ever had. The chocolate cake with gelato (TORTINO DI CIOCCOLATO) was 10/10 and the best dessert we had at Da Andrea. We ordered 3 total, including the ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu. Tuna Tartare, gorgonzola pasta and bolognese are 9's. The fritto misto, the other pasta we ordered and the other 2 desserts are 8's. If you're in New York make reservations and go. My Wife found this place and made reservations. Only thing I regret after looking at additional photos is not ordering the grilled pork chop.

I only had a late lunch because I wasn't super hungry, but what I had was pretty tasty. Honestly, I was inspired to write this review for the salad lol. The INSALATA VERDE, was freaking incredible. The pasta was al dente perfection and most importantly there were generous sauce portions. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and personable. I dined with a friend and we ordered 3 pastas instead of an appetizer (fantastic choice). We tried the following dishes: *Garganelli Mushroom Ragu and Ricotta Salata. This was by far our favorite dish. It was bursting with flavor, had tons of sauce and cheese and was perfectly cooked. If you enjoy mushroom you MUST order this!! *Tagliatelle Bolognese Bianco (Chicken, Veal, Pork) and Parmigiano. Which was so delicious and has plenty of meat and sauce. The tagliatelle was amazing and tasted to fresh. *Bucatini with Pancetta, Tomato, Chilies and Pecorino. We thought this was good but our least favorite dish of the 3. I read the reviews mostly good so I was hoping for the best. My friends and I were not disappointed. The first thing I noticed was there were 7 people in my party and 4 arrived early and did not have to wait for my arrival to be seated. Second the waiter who took our order was polite and on point with specials and knowledge of the menu. He (just never caught his name) suggested the Rigatoni which chicken and sausage. I am not really a pasta eater but baby that dish could change that; it was DELICIOUS. I even liked the anchovy dressing on my Caesar Salad and I dislike anchovies. The only negative was when the Chicken Paiikard arrived it was supposed to a shared dish by the elderly couple and they asked for regular dinner plates from one of the servers.
