I've been here twice. The first time I went in I got the veggie crunch sandwich. It was very good. It was my first time and I thought it was cool getting a strawberry with chocolate on it too. I went back tonight and there are a long list of great looking salads. I was very clear to the person taking my order that I'm vegetarian. He said they're happy to just remove the chicken so I ordered the southwest avocado. He mixed the lettuce, put in a big scoop of rice, and handed it off to the people standing next to him. The dude added some tiny but delicious looking vegetables, then adds a big scoop of chicken. It was too late to stop him. I was pretty surprised at how tiny the spoon is for scooping out the vegetables. I think he put in about 10 black beans. After sitting down, I removed all the chicken. The rest of the salad was fine. The chocolate chip cookie was just OK. I wouldn't get it again. A little disappointed in my visit this time. read more

Walk in today super busy. I noticed there was like one employee trying to rush around with no help which I found odd. The manager Taylor is absolutely "manager worthy". He was so rude to the other employees and he was probably the worst manager that's probably actually worked at a food place!!! What happened to Sam! Sam was the best manager! He was friendly and respectful and helped the other employees when it was busy! Now..I know it is zupas and it's not high end or whatever but the store was also a crap mess it was disgusting and Taylor the supposed "manager" didn't seem to care which I was so appalled by. Bring back Sam or rethink your approach on what a manager should be. It's seriously concerning how you guys are okay with him as a manager! it was honestly so aggravating. It got so bad I wanted to say something so many times to him but my wife told me not to worry about it. The atmosphere was awful because of him, and frankly I'm not surprised. Also as we walked in my wife pointed out that he was the manager working when she went on a girls night a bit ago. She said he was being rude to the employees and my wife and her friends were really concerned. It's a whole thing and he clearly doesn't know that customers watch and see how the MANAGERS are supposed to act!!! When I hire managers my number one priority is to make sure they're not total jackass dicks, something he doesn't quite understand he needs to not be working at a restaurant with customers and employees under 18!! We ordered some food to go last week and had a really bad experience. The order was completely wrong. We paid for extras, which they charged us for on three of the items. In addition two of the sandwiches were incorrect, and even the soups were incorrect and only half filled. This is the second time something this has happened and we're now done with this location. Getting a simple set of instructions wrong on such a scale is simply unacceptable. Lots of better options out there. read more

These folks can't keep up with orders. We ordered a soup and sandwich and stood there for 5 minutes just for the spaced out (stoned) server even acknowledged us to take our soup order. This is after 2 other groups went around us. By the time we cashed out, our food was room temperature. On top of that, the tables were filthy, they were out of lids, and the Orange Berry drink tasted like water. Do not recommend. read more

Place is going downhill. Tonight the line was normal for 6:15 on a Saturday night, but want normal was that it took 20 minutes to make it through. Looked like they were short staffed and maybe training somebody. Biggest disappointment was that the nuts about berries had so few berries and almost no nuts. As we walked out the door there were 16 tables that needed to be bussed! I think they only have 22 tables in the whole restaurant! Delicious food! We ordered curbside pickup. I like the feature they have that you can text them when you arrive at the location to pick up. The food was great! I tired two new things- the tomato soup and steak sandwich. I loved both and would order both again. I did the pick two which came with a roll and chocolate dipped strawberry. The tomato soup was creamy and smooth. The steak sandwich had a lot of cheese and steak in it. I really liked the roasted red peppers in it. The steak was tender and not gristly. It did cost extra to get the steak sandwich but it wasn't much- only $1. In my eyes this was a deal to up grade my sandwich for the more premium one than the rest. read more

I'm writing this because I am concerned about food safety. I've always been loyal and love zupas. However I noticed they didn't seem to be washing their fruit. I asked the girl behind the counter and she said "no we don't wash the strawberries. We just get them out of the box and dip them in the chocolate." THEY DONT WASH THE STRAWBERRIES!? I have a bachelors in public health and took many classes from health inspectors. This is a good way to get shut down. You could give someone ecoli! Children, pregnant women and the elderly can die from ecoli. Start washing your fruit. Makes me never want to go to zupas again! So disappointed. read more

Ummm YUM?! My husband wanted to go to Zaxby's but I wanted a salad and I looked at their (Zaxby's) menu and was like ehhh... luckily this place was close by so we went in here first. It was AMAZING! I don't live in Utah but I visit quite often and this is my new go to place when I'm in town. Got the chicken pesto sandwich, half the mangoberry salad, then the roll and chocolate strawberry. We had a great time here! The food was delicious and the seating arrangement is much better than other Zupas locations I've been to, and the service was great. I love that there are freshly cut lemons and limes for your drinks and my favorite thing on the menu is the bbq chicken salad. The kids meal is nice because you can choose two from a list of options, and we got the grilled cheese and chicken nuggets and split it between our five and three year old. We'll be back! read more

I love how many different high quality soups and salads they have. I was hesitant to try their seasonal pumpkin chorizo soup but it turned out to be a new favorite of mine! On January 7th, 2023 I almost swallowed a screw while eating potato soup! At first, I decided to give the restaurant chance to figure out why a bolt was in my soup the night I received it. I have been treated Like a Liar! They told me that Risk management checked their entire restaurant, and did not find any missing items from there products they were serving my Soup from. The problem I had with that, was no one ever ask me, to See this bolt that I had found Lodge in my throat from the soup! I am a Veteran of The United States Army and have served several tours overseas and made it Back From War!!!!! I'm very disgusted on how I've been treated! Please be aware of this restaurant, your family can also be Hurt from Lack of Attention and Details Management Gave to my particular situation! This could be your Fate from this Poorly Ran restaurants (Young Kids) and could Have been Fatel from the cause, of Not paying attention to Detai! Horrible experience. I came in and ordered two custom salads and 4 grilled cheese sandwiches. Zupas is notorious for being skimpy and this time they outdid themselves literally got 5 tiny (dime size) cucumbers, 4 tomatoes, each also the size of a dime. I teaspoon of cheese and paid $12 each for them. Zupas is losing my families business. You get ripped off every time you walk through the doors and I am done. Stop wasting your money when there are so many better options out there. This was at the Lehi store. The staff was completely rude and had someone watching over their shoulders making sure they only gave the "prescribed" amount of baby cucumbers and tomatoes. After I paid and was heading back to my car, it felt as if the bags I was carrying were empty. Absolute rip off. I do love Cafe Zupas! It's an addiction. I genuinely think I love it so much because they are so different from other places. I cannot get everything that I get here at other locations and I appreciate that a lot actually. It keeps the business unique and it keeps me coming back, literally all the time. I have never been to this location in particular. I will admit, this is a really odd location. You're right next to the freeway, facing the concrete, in a corner. It isn't facing a road, it is very tucked away, I feel like. The parking was also a bit confusing because of that. I can't think of another place that is tucked away, in the same way that this Cafe Zupas location is. I found the service to be very friendly and helpful. Absolutely no issues there. I did find it strange--their salad bowls are stained brown-ish. I was questioning if it was a clean bowl. I'm assuming it's from the soups but I have never seen stains like this. I go to other locations frequently and they are not like that. So I'm not sure. I was skeptical but it seems more like a stain than dirt so *shrug*. I got my usual. I get a BBQ Chicken Salad without tomatoes or olives and a chicken enchilada chili. I also get a side of ranch for my roll. I always get a drink here because they have the mix ins, which I absolutely love. So I got a Dr. Pepper with raspberry, it hits the spot. I was going to add some vanilla too but the sugar clogged it up so the pump would not move at all lol. I'll admit, the photos were not the most aesthetic mainly because I was hungry and forgot to let my phone "eat" first lololol. My bad. As always, Zupas is a hit. I enjoy how fast it is, how nice they are, and how decently priced it is. In my opinion, $15 for everything you get is not bad at all! read more
