I waited in the parking lot another five minutes and then decided to going through the drive through and ask. My order was "ready" it said in the app after I told the employee I was there to pick it up. I am not quite sure how the app works now after this visit with ready vs not ready. I had the pick two with the chicken chipotle salad and bacon avocado sandwich. I explained I have an allergy to peppers & she pointed to a small sign that referenced cross contamination & shrugged. There is a big difference between cross contamination and ingredients. We've always loved Zupas and this the best location yet! Very cool, open, spacious interior. Staff was extremely friendly and quick on the put together. We really enjoy the quality fresh ingredients. The place was very clean with a busser cleaning tables as soon as they were vacated. It is disappointing tho to see that a salad with Strawberry in its name has only 5 slivers of actual strawberries! They used to really load the fruit on salads that had fruit in the title. Maybe they are trying to keep prices the same by putting less of the expensive stuff into the item. I'd rather pay a higher price and get some berries on my berry salad! They have a drive-thru which is a bonus but does make the parking situation a little cramped when they are busy. read more

Service is terrible. I was there to pickup an order and people had been waiting on their food for over 30 minutes. I had placed my order over 30 minutes to my arrival and in the system it said it was ready for pickup. One employee said they were backed up over 40 orders (this was after 7:30 p.m.) yet they were making the 4-5 people there wait on their order. Take care of the people there waiting folks. Cafe Zupas has become another staple here in the Beehive state. They have several locations, spread throughout the valley and have a variety of options that I think everyone can enjoy. While I do have my favorites and I stick to my favorites, they have SO MANY options depending on who you are and what you are wanting. They have several sandwiches, soups, salads and even protein bowls. One thing that stands out about this specific Cafe Zupas location is the fact that it has some kind of drive through concept. It is...interesting. I think it is a work in progress. Cafe Zupas is a bit of a difficult place to have a drive through. While they are quick, I think restaurants like Chipotle, Subway, Cafe Rio, etc. should stay as a "go through the line and pick what you want" kind of place. This is just my opinion though. I do worry about their parking. Thank goodness I have a Jeep because I just popped it in 4 low and went in the dirt pile. There was NOWHERE to park. Overall, I do think it is a cool, innovative location and I love that they are trying new things that may benefit their customers. It is also pretty exciting for Alpine/Highland/etc., as they now have a Zupas closer to them than the one in Thanksgiving Point. read more

Zupas is a little over priced and the food is decent. I have gone to Zupas a few times and it has always been okay, but not somewhere I would always go. However, when I got a coupon for the new Lehi location I thought why not. Wanting to go for lunch I showed up and waited about 40 mins in the line, when I was about to order some worker made the announcement that the coupon I was about to use was no longer vaild, because well I was waiting 40 mins in line it had expired. this is for the 1270 E 3500 N Lehi, Utah location. We had a terrible experience from the drive thru. The order was simple, 2 orders of soup for dinner. We received one that was fine. but one was only half filled. When you pay $5.89 for a cup of soup you expect to get a full serving. Once home and we saw the mistake I called to ask what we could do about it. The guy on the phone told me it is a hassle to fix this problem. I told him I would like the soup refunded. He took my name and number and said he would return it to our credit card. But he was just blowing me off as no action was ever made to make it right or refund that portion of our order. I asked the girl at the counter how long and she said it was almost done. The line meanwhile was moving right along. She came out with no empathy, no effort to make it right just a bunch of excuses and so I cancelled my order. What a waste of time. Such a bummer. Came to this new location last Saturday. There was a little line, but we decided to order off of the kiosk since we could look at it all with our kids. After we placed our order we went and sat down, AFTER 35 MINUTES of wondering what is going on, seeing everyone in line getting their food before us, and all of our kids going crazy they were still hungry, I got a text saying our order is ready and to go to the cashier, went to the cashier and nope, not ready. I haven't been to this location in Lehi. The food is good, however, the potions are small for the price. The part of our dining experience that was most alarming was the filthy dining area. It seemed like almost every table had been vacated by diners and the used bowls, cups and garbage sat unattended. Ironically, the young staff sat behind the counter doing nothing but talking to each other. It's either good portions or half the normal protein, to where you have to ask to pay for double meat and you still only get a total of 1.5 oz of chicken. Same with the sandwiches. This could be corrected with training. But, just because the very small person behind the counter will only eat 5 squares of Chicken doesn't mean the avg man will. I mean come on. I'll pay for food, but don't make me quadruple the meat just to get my normal portions. So if you're hungry, you are rolling the dice. We then had our food put on top of the counter and waited about 6-7 minutes until someone finally took our payment to check out. Our soup had been sitting out in the meantime and was cold and separated. After we paid, one of our sandwiches was still not ready. We were told someone would bring it out to us, so we sat down. We ate the rest of our food for about 10-15 mins and still no sandwich (all we ordered was 2 "Try-2 Combos"). We walked back up to the counter to ask about the sandwich and the worker said "oh here it is". Lol. Zupas in Lehi Smiths service is horrible to go through the drive through. I suggest DON'T do it. the kiosk is ridiculous. Your wait time is double than just going inside. I went on a rainy day, the kiosk was glitchy, which took even more time. Then a lady went through the pick up line, her food was not ready and she spent ample time talking with the lady at the window. When it was my turn, the food was not ready, and I had to pull into a stall. Waiting in the stall for any drive-through restaurant is ridiculous. The point of a drive-through is so you don't have to park. Parking and then waiting for your food is inconvenient I go through the drive-through for convenience....not inconvenience. Kiosk inconvenience....parking stall inconvenience.... drive-through inconvenience. The food and pricing isn't even worth the inconvenience. There are plenty of other fast food.
