I know I've written reviews before, but this place is one of my wife & I favorite place to eat breakfast. Manny and really all the staff know how to treat their customers. Plus the food is made to order and I mean they get it right. Any lil change or extra you need done the cooks are on it. Come & enjoy a good meal.

Cute little place to eat! I sat at the bar and the server/bartender was very attentive and helpful! I ordered the Denver omelette, with hash browns, sourdough toast, and an ice tea. The ice tea was in a big mason jar, which was fun! Not too pricey, I paid $21 and that was with tax. The food was really good but honestly nothing to write home about...not because of anything bad, just basic tasting foods! Very clean and cute decor!

Bacon breakfast sandwich. I asked for extra crispy bacon as hash browns. They threw in a homemade salsa. Delicious

Food is always great! Service is always topnotch! The cafe is cute and the friendly locals greet me when I walk in and pour their own coffee I seen recently. Love small town love!

My group came here for breakfast on the way up to Yosemite. We were seated right away but since there seemed to be very few workers, our order wasn't taken until maybe 10-15 min after we were seated. I ordered the sweet cream French toasted while my group ordered other breakfast items. All of the serving sizes were huge, especially for what you pay for. I barely finished my French toast. It was very good in the begging but after a while, the sweet cream became a little too much and the warm strawberries were really throwing me off. My friends ordered some pressed breakfast burritos, which one came out pretty luke warm while the other one piping hot. The other breakfast items looked decent, and while there were no complaints, there wasn't anything too special either. Overall, you're getting what you paid for.

RECOMMEND!! Had brunch here after doing goat yoga at Dutch Hollow Farms. Casual atmosphere. It was a Sunday morning so we expected it to be busy which it was but the wait wasn't too long and the service was quick. We waited maybe 10 minutes. We ordered the chilaquiles, chicken fried steak, and chicken and waffles. All the food was really good and came out quick. More than enough food between 3 people. Worth going out of your way to give this place a try.

Cahoots came highly recommended, and they didn't disappoint! The food was great, the service was quick, they kept our coffee refilled, and everyone was patient and kind. Highly recommend! The chilaquiles and biscuits and gravy and bacon were all delicious.

Always eilling to try new breakfast spots! we were on our way to Chicken Ranch Resort! Decided to stop here aftet looking on yelp! It was busy er gave our name and it took less than 5 mintes to be seated. It was loud but not disturbing. We gave our drink orders and then the waiter came and took out order. Food was brought out promptly and everything was excellent! Folks were very nice and they also had a clean restroom!

We had stopped by the highway, where the view of lush greenery and rolling hills was nice. I approve! It was nice to sit on the patio watching the passing cars, and the tarp above us provided pleasant shade from the sun. My daughter and I shared the Biscuits and Gravy with scrambled eggs and sausages. The homemade biscuits were buttery and flaky--absolutely delicious. My partner and her daughter shared either a skillet or an omelet; I don't quite remember since I didn't take a picture. Regardless, we were all satisfied with our meals and ready to continue our adventure. The service was friendly and efficient. I didn't even get to check out inside the restaurant. Was there an inside? A quick tip: you'll need a key to access the restrooms. I noticed several people walk over only to discover the door was locked, so I made sure to ask for the key. According to their website, this place has a fascinating history--it once served as a miner's supply store before becoming a hotel. I believe there are still rooms available, as I noticed you can reserve cabins with twin and queen beds. While I might not stay in a cabin myself, I would definitely return for the food.

We ended up sending it back to the kitchen, which was the first for me. The steak was cut so thick that it wasn't even medium rare in the center. It was completely raw. The meat also had a gray color that made it seem old or as if it had been defrosted too quickly. The caesar salad had a mountain amount of lettuce and lacked in taste. We also got the steak sandwich, which looked like just the steak frites but with a toast on the side lol. We also ended up sending it back and got a different thing. The one standout dish that we was the lobster mac n cheese, which was delicious. I've had disappointing food, but not to the point where I've had to send it back. To be fair, the staff mentioned that the chef had suffered a heart attack that day, so it's possible we visited on an unusually bad day. If that's the case, I hope the chef makes a full recovery. Still, based on our experience, the food did not live up to the many good ratings it has.

We ordered: Breakfast Tots Grilled Fruit & Brie Berry lemon cheesecake waffle Coffee flight Everything was amazing. I love tater tots and adding the breakfast staples on top made it 5x better. The only thing that would knock it out of the park is some salsa. My friend enjoyed their grilled fruit and Brie. I really enjoyed the berry lemon cheesecake waffle. The waffle was light but perfectly crisped. Presentation was 10/10. Located in downtown Riverbank. Really cute downtown. Worth the detour and drive. Looking forward to coming back.

If you're planning a Saturday or Sunday visit you definitely want to make a reservation! Based off my first visit I would have give this place 4 stars. The drinks are delicious, the food is incredible with good portions, and everything of course looks great visually as well. The main con the first visit was that service was extremely slow and there was a drink ordered that was completely forgotten about, however they were clearly short staffed and when we did have service she was very apologetic and friendly and comped the beverage so we had no complaints. We went back this month for my birthday and while everything we did have was once again delicious, they were out of a decent portion of the menu. Off the top of my head they were out of all flavors of deviled eggs, pulled pork, tuna for the poke stack and poke bowl, risotto balls, some wines, and a couple other things I don't recall. The first couple times the waitress said something we wanted was out we didn't mind and pivoted, especially since she said those were the only items they were out of. However, it quickly became evident that was not the case. She said the reason was it was Sunday and they are only open Thursday-Sunday so they often run out of stock during the Sunday rush. Like I said earlier, the last time I was there on a Sunday there was no issue with items being unavailable, and I feel like if this is a recurring issue maybe that's something that should be looked at when ordering for the week? But I also am not in the restaurant business so who knows maybe this isn't that unusual. It was just a bummer to go for my birthday excited to try certain things, only to ultimately end up with a chicken Caesar salad (which was still good though!). There were still pros with this recent visit, again everything looked and tasted great and the service was friendly and much quicker than the previous visit. The mimosa flights are fun and there's a ton of flavors to choose from. We got a seasonal peach toast appetizer to share and it was so good. I look forward to coming back soon to give it another shot and will update once I do!

The food was just your typical diner type, greasy spoon kind of place. I got an egg white omelette with ham (looked like cut up pieces of thin sliced deli meat) and asked that fresh potatoes be boiled in water or steamed in water due to food allergy. What I got was fried potatoes. When I questioned the server he just said that's how they come. Do they not have raw potatoes in the back they could have boiled for me?? The taste of the omelette was meh and I only ate 4 bites. I obviously didn't eat the potatoes. The English Muffin felt oily, like someone touched it with greasy hands. I had asked for it to be dry and with no butter. So basically I didn't eat any of my food and will not be back (this was my third time here and none of the other experiences were any better.) Such a shame because it is only 5-minutes from my house. My dad ordered the chicken fried steak and my mom got the taco salad and both of their meals were inedible too. The food here is just BAD. I told the server I didn't like my food and he didn't even answer me. He took away three plates of uneaten food and no one asked if there was an issue and no manager bothered to come over to even talk to us or try and make it right. What a HUGE waste of money. Don't bother eating here...so many other places to eat that are so much better. This place was packed and no real waiting area...everyone just squished together. This is a hustling and bustling place, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, at least don't go when we did. Best part of this place is their wall for taking pictures. I think they care more about making things look IG worthy, than the quality of the product they are serving.

My friend from Modesto told me about this spot, and I immediately wanted to try it. I actually planned my drive around this pit stop, which was just a short detour off the 99. I ordered a biscuit with fried eggs and dear Lord, that biscuit was amazing, and so was the jam! The fried eggs were cooked perfectly and especially delicious with the hot sauces they had to offer. My brother got an egg sandwich on a brioche bun and he still can't stop talking about how good it was. He was particularly impressed with the brioche bun. We also got the blueberry french toast to go, which I didn't anticipate traveling very well, but it did and holy shit, it was fan-freaking-tastic when I ate it that evening. I can't even fathom how incredible it must be if eaten fresh. This place was so cute inside and clearly had an intentional aesthetic direction. There was a cute outdoor seating area in the front where I could have my dog with me, which is a huge plus. The service was top-notch and the food was ready lickety-split.
