New to the area and randomly passed this bakery and caught my eyes. I checked the Yelp reviews and it was rated high and they had carrot cake so I had to stop by! From the outside, I loved the simplicity and sophistication of the logo. Today was extremely hot and as we walked inside we were welcomed with the blasting AC which we thoroughly enjoyed. They have a display of their cakes and baked stuff and we were particularly interested in the carrot cake so we ordered that. They had a spinach cake which was intriguing so I may have to try next visit. My husband ordered the cheesecake and he said it was okay didn't taste like the typical cream cheese cheesecake taste. Our favorite was the carrot cake. We enjoyed the shredded carrots, pineapple but we didn't really care for the raisins wish it didn't have it. The icing was so creamy, milky and velvety. Solid carrot cake.

The service here was great. I have never ordered from this bakery before and called ahead to ask about the cakes. They let me know they have a variety ready to pick up the day of, which was exactly what I needed since I needed the cake same day. The cake itself was so soft and moist and the frosting was whipped to perfection. Will be purchasing a cake from here again soon!

Stopped by because my daughter and I wanted something sweet. It was later in the evening, so a lot of stuff was sold out. We were able to get slices of the spinach and berry cake, and pear cake. I loved both cakes. I didn't think I would like the spinach cake, but it was delicious. It had a tart lemon flavor. Pear cake was good as well. I would order these in a full size portion. Customer service was great from a gentleman there. Bakery was clean. I would return.

Cake N Bake is one of our favorite dessert spots! Their moist spinach cake is my personal favorite--unique, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The chocolate cake with raspberries and their honey cake are also big hits in my family. We've ordered a variety of desserts from here over time (wish I had pictures of them all!), and everything has consistently been high quality. You really get what you pay for--excellent service and top-notch cakes every time.

Cake N Bake has been my go-to bakery for years, and they never fail to impress! Their honey cake, spinach cake, pear cake, carrot cake, and cheesecake are all phenomenal--basically, I'm obsessed with almost everything on their menu. Each cake is so fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. I used to order from them online, but now I love stopping by their new location. It's so convenient to pick up my favorites whenever I want. We get all our special cakes from here too, and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Cake N Bake, thank you for consistently delivering amazing desserts that my family and I absolutely love.

I am so happy that my favorite bakery has a new location with walk in store, Their cake flavors are amazing and always beautifully crafted, spinach and chocolate raspberry are my favorite. Always like having seasonal cakes and flavors, carrot cake is always must try for fall. Whether it is for occasion or you just crave some sweets, I highly recommend trying it. Can't wait for Nora's another amazing cake for my daughter's Christmas birthday.

    Mold on it!!

I wanted to see what the hype was about this place, I got the chocolate Nutella raspberry I took a bite of it. I noticed there was mold on top of it, very disappointing! Btw it did taste good besides the mold on it. Honey cake was alright I had better.

    Loved the honey cake!!

The mango caught my eye with its life-like ombré effect, and the (raspberry) framboise beckoned as well. Mango: Crackly white chocolate coating with tangy mango mousse, with coconut bits and cake on the base. It was a bit sour for my taste, but I tried it as it was one of their most popular items. Frambroise: Rich chocolatey mousse with crunchy bits and raspberry jam. I enjoyed this combo. I watched too many fruit mousse ASMR videos, so I was perhaps a little disappointed when the chocolate coatings did not audibly crunch, but I think it'd need to be placed in the freezer for that effect. I'd come back to try other pastries/cakes if I were in the area. Would love to eat one of everything in the case :9.

Light, silky, refreshing, and packed with tropical flavor without feeling too sweet. I also tried the raspberry chocolate pastry which was beautifully executed with raspberry compote and chocolate mousse, but I'm just very particular about chocolate-forward desserts. The iced vanilla latte was the perfect balance alongside the pastries, and I ended up leaving with a handful of macarons that were honestly addictive. Every flavor was delicious. Love the outdoor seating too. Perfect spot to slow down for a minute, enjoy a coffee, and have a really elevated pastry experience.

I'm talking about events like the 626 Night Market during the Summer in Arcadia, the OC Night Market in Costa Mesa, Chinatown Summer Nights in, well... Chinatown, and many others. Even then, you sometimes come across a particularly cool vendor that just exudes passion for what they do. David is one of those people. Of the years I've been running into him, he's always happy and positive, despite being hounded on all sides for his delicious cookies and truffles. It makes buying these carefully-crafted delicacies that much more pleasurable. Now, on to the good stuff! You will find some of the craziest cookie flavors you've ever heard of when you walk up to this booth; but don't let that deter you. When done right, the craziest combinations usually turn out to be the most amazing. The sweet Habanero cookie is among the most popular, and I can personally attest to the fact that if you love sweet & spicy foods, you may end up falling in love with this one. They have a great selection of other flavor combinations, as well, including Coffee Toffee- with strong chocolaty notes- Salted Caramel Apple Oatmeal with just a hint of salt to round it out perfectly, and a few others. If you can't decide, they're always handing out free samples, which usually narrows down the options. They also know how to make a mean truffle. They're rich, decadent, and hefty, (probably due to the cake batter-like texture), and look so pretty, it's almost impossible to shovel it all into your mouth without feeling a bit guilty. Didn't stop me, though. And they're all packed so neatly, they also make great gifts. Just make sure you don't leave them in a hot car or carry them around in direct Sunlight, as they will go south quickly. The prices are fair for what you get, and considering the amazing people you're buying from, this is one booth you can walk away from feeling perfectly satiated.

Better yet, if she ever tried Lou's, she'd never have the gall to post nonsense like that. If you haven't had it, don't review it. Simple as that. As for ALL of the items at Lou's "Oh, aimé-je" it does NOT get any better. The croissants are hands down the best in America. The sandwiches (all of them): finger-licking good. The éclairs are the most delectable in town, as are the other pastries. And with ALL of that, somehow the best thing is still the customer service. I have yet to walk in there without seeing Lou personally chatting it up with customers, the man is everywhere. On sunny and rainy days he's passing out umbrellas, and on Mother's Day he's handing out wonderful gifts for all the ladies. The staff take their lead from him and are every bit as splendid. If you haven't tried it yet, it's not too late -- run, don't walk, this weekend. Your taste buds will file a formal complaint if you don't.

That noted, it's absolutely worth the nocturnal trek to what feels like the middle of nowhere. The worker was very sweet and directed me to pay via Venmo, then proceeded to prepare my order. It takes a bit to get your order because this place is swamped with mobile orders along with the line it's constantly tending to. Anywho, we got the Nutella and Mango Cheesecakes. I am a Nutella aficionado; I will stay this way until my very last breath unless I develop some random allergy to hazelnuts later into adult life, and even then, that'll be my untimely undoing. This cheesecake was perfection; you can taste the Nutella both in the creamy cheesecake and on top, with a generous drizzle covering the cheesecake; the Oreo crust was thick but not stale or annoyingly hard. 10/10. The Mango Cheesecake: the birthday boy' slice. I prefer raspberry or strawberry toppings when going for fruity cheesecakes, but the mango cheesecake hits the spot; mango chunks on top of a New York cheesecake slice and a buttery, graham cracker crust. I would actually order this myself. 10/10. When it comes to hole-in-the-wall dessert spots, Sweetholic is a win, win. Nice service, reasonably- priced (about $11 a slice, about a whole dollar cheaper than other LA cafes and the staple Cheesecake Factory), and cheesecake that will make you moan into the sweetest of slumbers.
