    I recently had an incident where the friend of one of my friend's daughter's accidentally backed into my car and dented the front left bumper area. She and her parents preferred to handle it outside of insurance so it was self pay so they reimbursed me. Caliber N. Lamar said they couldn't accept third party pay other than from an insurance company I believe. I was able to quickly get an online estimate using Caliber's very cool and easy to use online estimator tool (just upload photos of the damage)! I was also able to quickly get an in person review to finalize the estimate. The in person review resulted in a slightly higher estimate than the online one but it seemed reasonable. Everyone there was really helpful. The office was festively decorated for Halloween. Sandra was my assigned service advisor. We had some logistics glitches as she was unexpectedly out sick for a day or so, so someone named Carlos stepped in breifly. The guy handling the front desk (wish I'd gotten his name) was really great at communicating with me during the transition as I felt some communication balls got dropped during the process re: what I was told to expect on update timings, and I found myself having to call in a few times to request updates vs. being called, texted, or emailed with updates. However, it all worked out in the end and my car was fixed within the estimated cost and timeline! They also have a relationship with Enterprise car rental so I was able to get someone to pick me up and drop me at the N. Lamar location which made that process less stressful. I'll be writing a review of Enterprise soon!

    New car with new damage. Went to a Genie Carwash on Lamar (location now closed) and the brushes had torn my mirror off. "We didn't do that" (of course) but USAA took care of it. I took it to Caliber Collision for repair of the mirror and was told it might take a day or two. Got my rental (USAA allows) and went to work. Later that day Caliber called, my car was ready! One day! They did amazing work and it was done in one day.

    I chose Luxury Auto Body Works expecting professional communication and transparency…read more Unfortunately, the experience was the opposite. I repeatedly had to chase basic status updates. Pickup dates were communicated and missed without proactive notice, and I was often told updates were "sent" when nothing was received. My email address was misspelled, which I had to catch and correct myself after not receiving updates or photos. Front desk staff did not proactively notify me when the vehicle was ready for pickup. When asked why no call was made, I was told they were "too busy" and that it "depends on the day." This response showed a lack of customer priority and accountability. The most concerning issue was conflicting information about diagnosis and BMW involvement. At one point, I was told there was no confirmed BMW appointment, and later received a message stating the vehicle was fully programmed and calibrated without dealership involvement. These inconsistencies made it difficult to trust the information provided and left me without a clear timeline. Additionally, the repair was not properly closed in the Carwise system after pickup, which prevented me from leaving a Carwise review and they don't want me leave a review on Carwise with my experience so here I am writing my review Based on this experience, I question how consistently customer experiences are reflected in Carwise reviews. If you use this shop, document everything and expect to follow up repeatedly. I cannot recommend this facility if you value proactive communication, accountability, or transparency.

    Accidents suck, especially on a car you're making payments on. I have a specialty vehicle that…read morerequired some work at the Audi North dealership as well as most of the work here at Caliber. This specific shop is an Audi specialty shop. As a result of the dealership scratching my newly replaced front bumper and later losing an engine shield, my car was delayed twice. Due to the dealer mishandling my vehicle, my car took 2 months to complete. When everything was going sour, the manager (Ronan), assistant manager (Justin), and my personal account manager (Jason) stepped up in a meaningful way. They were excellent at communication the entire time, and took ownership of what was their fault--most of which was the fault of the dealers. Nevertheless, they ensured that no matter how frustrated I was and how unfortunate the circumstances got, that I walk away a satisfied and happy customer. Well, they did just that. They deserve the recognition and have all my respect. Just because of those 3 folks, especially Jason, I know every customer will be treated with respect and like family. In the worst scenario, they have proven it to me. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you bring your car here. You'll get it back the way one should receive their vehicle--and they'll ensure you're happy and taken care of. Class acts! Everyone else, take notes.
