After running a quick errand last week, I walked out to my car in the parking lot to find it had been hit, by what looked like a BB. It had been a really bad week, I was already overwhelmed and this was the last thing I wanted to have to deal with, so I turned to our community for help! Later that night I posted a picture of the damage on a few social media pages in search of recommendations for someone local and honest that would touch this up for a reasonable price. David Cauley, the manager at Caliber Collision in Pomona immediately reached out to me letting me know if I wanted to bring it in, he would be happy to take a look at it and go over my options. I contacted him and through a small message exchange, he answered questions I had not even asked yet and offered to accommodate me if his business hours did not work out with my schedule. He had already gone above and beyond and eased my mind...I had not even met with him yet. Customer service of this "caliber" has become hard to find these days and is so refreshing! I met with David a few days ago, we both agreed that, although it's a small area, the damage is pretty significant. He thoroughly explained my options, answered all of my questions and gave me an estimate based on my expectations. I have 2 cars repaired at Caliber in Pomona, and they did a fantastic job on both, so when my wife's Suburban lost a stupid trim piece from the door, and the local Chevy dealer wanted $500 to reattach it, I drove it into Caliber yesterday morning. I went to the dealership and they told me it would cost $$$ to replace it bc I would have to replace the whole door. No other auto body shop could fit me for weeks. I went to them back a few years ago due to an accident that was not my fault. They fixed my vehicle and after a few weeks I had noticed that it was making a noise that I've never heard before. Considering that I didn't know much about cars, it never occurred to me to bring it back to them. As the noise started to become continuous and louder over the next year, I began to think that maybe it might have been from what I thought they had initially fix. I had to go back to them for a completely unrelated accident that they did fix and asked that they look into the initial noise issue from a few years back. I spoke with the manager that was very helpful at the moment and he said he'd have his guy look into it and get back to me. I sent an initial email to him which he responded, but then I sent a follow-up email a week or so later with no response back. Then again a week later sent another email with no response back. I just feel like since it isn't their issue they don't bother to get back to me. read more

My 2000 4Runner was involved in a collision resulting in front end damage. The first body shop I consulted lamented how difficult it would be to find parts for such an old vehicle. Luckily I sought other estimates and discovered that Toyota still has parts for my truck IN PRODUCTION, meaning brand new OEMs were readily available. I chose Caliber out of four estimates because their price was the most competitive, they offered a lifetime warranty on their work, and promised to complete the job in five business days. The communication was stellar receiving email updates and a phone call informing me of the final price based on closer inspection. After the promised five business days my 4Runner looked better than it had prior to the accident. Josh was my contact and he was professional, informative, positive and supportive. I have came here twice both reason were accident related. First time was amazing front desk was kind and Robert was very thorough and contacted me on updates on my car. Second time unfortunately i was rear ended again and of course went through caliber collision. Again it was amazing and caring. Vanessa the front desk was kind and explain who will be contacting me to go there with the process on my car, that's when Israel was helping with my car and going through the process again was very thorough. It was a friendly environment all around. Communication was on point. I wish I can also include names on who actually worked on the car as my car looked amazing both times. Beware do not go to this place!!!! They are scammers I got into a small fender bender someone rear ended my car simple bumper damage. Well they milked it for all they can. They claimed they replaced the trunk which they did not!! they claim they replaced the trunk hinges they did not!! They charged for a muffler which was never replaced.. My tail lights lenses came slightly off the light assembly which they missed in the inspection and water goes in the light, now they want to charge us and have us pay out of pocket even after they ripped off the other persons insurance for $3900 just to replace and paint a rear bumper and a few other small stuff only reason I came here is my insurance recommended them. Renee, the worker in charge of my car, completely lied about the part that was going to be replaced on my car. I did not find out about the replaced part until I went to get a smog check done. Renee and the manager also had no idea why sensors on my car were on and kept assuring me it couldn't have been due to any work they did to my car. Renee was trying to tell me it was due to a needed oil change or the brand new tires i had on my car, which I indeed did NOT have new tires and I'm also aware of what my oil sensor looks like. The worst experience here especially with the lying and rushing for me to pick my car up when it wasn't even ready yet, definitely felt taken advantage of. read more

Awful, unprofessional and dishonest experience. I was in an accident and was recommended to Caliber. Most other locations seem to be ok, but this place takes the cake on idiots who don't know what they're doing. They were supposed to fix my car, since that's what they were paid to do. They actually broke my headrest trying to reset it, and instead of admitting it, they superglued it back together and sent me on my way. Low and behold, months later it popped back out, so I take it to the dealer to have them look at it and they informed me that there was superglue in there, and it is beyond repair because the parts had been broken from force. It's nearly $500 to replace it. I called management, no answer or return message. Called corporate- same outcome. I will NEVER recommend this place, This is only a very small portion of the awful experience, but it's not worth the trouble to go into on Yelp. Bottom line, go to any other caliber if you must, but I wouldn't use this company again if it was the last one standing. **I will be pursuing more action due to their fraudulent service in my situation. Garbage! I nearly crashed my car because of the poor work done at this location. I was rear ended in March and the fender was barely damaged. They still insisted the entire trunk and fender had to be replaced, probably to milk my insurance company for more money. Took two weeks and I had to call them and wait in the lobby forever to get answers as to what was taking so long. They said they test drove the car but it instantly had problems. They did not properly reattach the right rear tail light and it took almost a month to get an appointment to get it fixed. When I came in, no one even knew who I was or why I was there. If I didn't demand it be repaired immediately I would have been ignored. Their supposed service manager never bothered returning any calls or even let anyone know I was coming in that day. Two months later I nearly crashed my car. They improperly installed the fender and it grinded out my back tires. When I brought it to a different location for warranty work I was accused of damaging the tires myself and was forced to buy 3 new tires. They went somewhere to get a buy 3 get 1 free and took the free tire for the one they promised to replace and billed me for their own screw up. They refused to give my car unless I paid right then and there. I will never go back to any Caliber Collision after how I have been treated at two different locations. read more
