We have a car that has been in your shop on Hancock in San Diego for well over month. We were originally told the repair would take a WEEK. The first delay was insurance and someone would call back, no return call. The second delay was they received the wrong headlight and someone would call back, no return call. The third delay was the replacement headlight was the wrong light again. The forth delay was that our assigned adjuster is no longer there so they need to see what is going on and would call me back, no call back. This after I asked for the name of the manager and asked for this to be escalated to the manager. The next delay was that they think they have the right light but the wrong bracket for the light. However, the person I spoke to wasn't originally assigned to the car and that person is no longer with the company. I have called the location three times this morning and the phone just rings and rings and rings. When will this car be fixed? This was a referral from USAA insurance, I have also reached out to them for assistance. I also emailed the caliber email address with zero response. Crazy read more

I have to say, Caliber Collision made it so painless to bring in my car after an accident. Paula and Marisa gave me the best customer service when I arrived. Paula as well as the auto text message kept in communication with me on the progress of my car thru each stage. I brought my car in on a Friday and it was ready the following Tuesday. My repair took longer than expected due to the part (rear door of my Ford minivan) kept arriving damaged - not the shop's fault. David worked hard to get it ready in time for me to get back from my business trip, and went to extra mile for me to get it picked up. I recently had to take my car in to get a quote for body damage repairs. With the current pandemic and all the stress that this has caused this was the last thing I wanted to deal with. Lina is the best manager. She communicated with me every step of the way to repair the damage on my car. A part was late in coming due to the current supply chain problem, but not their fault. I am writing this review about 3 weeks overdue, but on the day of Christmas Eve, I was met with exceptional service. Two days previous to my visit, my door jam had an issue and I was locked out of my car. I used a wire hanger to release the lock, but it had scratched my ENTIRE driver's side door jam as if a chicken raked all over it. I drove throughout Point Loma looking for a trustworthy place that was open on Christmas Eve. I pulled up to Caliber Collision hoping to get a quote less than $600+ since I had been quoted that from other independent spot repairers. Javier, who seemed like the manager, stepped out of his office to greet me in the waiting room and asked how he could help me. Stressed, frustrated with myself about the embarrassing chicken scratch, and concerned that I would receive a pricey quote, he helped me himself. I showed him the damage, and he said that he could rub some corrective polish over the top of it. He did exactly that, and it wiped it all away! I thought that I was going to need a whole new paint job, but Javier helped me in an instant and it made my week, brightened my Christmas Eve, and brought a big smile to my face. I was in an accident and the other party claimed fault. They had Farmers insurance which recommended I bring my car into Caliber. I was extremely anxious that there was more damage than Farmers had estimated through photos. I was quoted ~$1790 in damages. As soon as Service Agent Bill Adams started looking at my car, I knew I was in good hands. They needed to replace the whole front bumper, one headlight, and some of the side panel. He assured me that this would be an easy fix for his team. He called me with updates after a couple of days. My car was finished in the original time frame that was shared with me. Bill said it would take 6-7 days. They almost finished in 6 but got a little backed up so it took 7. I'm not upset about that because the communication was great. I called Bill 3 times for updates and each time he filled me in on where they were and kept me in the loop. I picked up my car and everything looked great. They cleaned and sanitized the interior as well. I drove off and all was good until I got on the freeway. My car started making a strange rattling sound once I started going faster. Freaked out, I pulled off the freeway and called Bill. He asked me to bring the car back so they could take a look. He added some clips and took my car for a test drive. Still making the sound. They added more clips and Bill took it on the freeway. He said he heard the sound, pulled over, and began to inspect underneath the car. He found a piece of tire tread stuck in some weird spot under the car! It was unrelated to the service Caliber provided. I would not have found that so easily. My entire experience with Caliber Collision was phenomenal. They were direct with me on how long it would take, they were always available if I had questions, and the repair job was perfect. The one person that stuck out the most was Paula. She provided the best customer service I've received anywhere in a while. On the day my truck was supposed to be completed, I informed her that I work 12 hour shifts and would not be able to pick it up until 2 days after. She said "don't worry, I will bring it to you and drop off the rental car on my way back." And that's exactly what she did. We coordinated the time and she was there on the dot to switch. Great service. I dropped my car off last week and they had a rental waiting for me which was very convenient. Fidel was super helpful in getting me a quote and calling and texting me with updates throughout the process of getting my car repaired. What I was really impressed with was when I went to get my car, it was washed inside and out as well as waxed. I would recommend Caliber to anyone looking to get their car repaired.
