I was tool and kind of bottomed out my Acura RSX on a curb/driveway I didnt see. Long story short, I brought it here, An examined the undercarriage of my car and stated that there didn't seem to be any significant visible damage. Robert raised up my car and did an alignment and did a closer examination of the underside and provided me a sheet showing everything was in spec with my car. Reasonable price for an alignment. I love this place. Steve is who I ask for since he's the one I first met when I brought my Corvette in. (A neighbor of mine threw his car door open as I drove down the street, taking off my side view mirror and scratching three panels on the passenger side. Ouch) To end 2009 off with the terrible end it deserved, I bumped the nose of my Corvette into a curb, and even under close inspection, seemed as it scratched paint off of it. When Steve walked out to write the estimate, he looked at it, said "drive it to the end over there" where some technicians were working on finishing an Explorer that had been repaired. He had them take some solution to it and the "scratch" came off like it was nothing. Steve said "looks like it's your lucky day" and boy was he right. He could have taken my money to get it "repaired" but he didn't . How refreshing. I will take any car there for repairs, if I'm so unfortunate to have the need. I want to compliment one of Caliber Collision auto body shop's excellent employees, Terry McMahon. He's an honest and cheerful person who is very professional in Auto Collision Advisor. Terry gave me the confidence of trust by showing his fantastic professional skill. When I brought a damage truck to Terry, he identified quickly the important areas of the vehicle damages that needed to be fixed and replaced. After I gave Terry estimation lists from other party insurance who estimated low cost for fixing damage car, Terry pointed out which missing auto parts within couple seconds. He soon contacted directly to the other party insurance, mentioned missing auto parts, and requested updating auto parts in the estimation lists. Terry called me and notified the other party agreed to update new part lists. After leaving my truck at Caliber Collision, the other party insurance came to Caliber Collision auto body shop, re-inspected missing parts for repair, and agreed to pay additional repaired costs for missing parts in the same day. I knew Caliber Collision company which my insurance referred before. I came in Caliber Collision and was helped by Terry McMahon. Caliber Collision's employees are very friendly and helpful. Terry also provided accurate date to pick up the truck when it's completed. After I picked up my truck, I received extra services for fixing some small dings, door, and lamps. The truck's looked like a new car from interior and exterior, fresh and charming. When we have had our cars damaged, South Valley handles everything, from making sure we have rental car, following up with the adjustor so the car is fixed in a timely fashion. Honest, good customer service, fair prices, trusted mechanics I don't trust mechanics by nature, as I'm a shade tree myself, and have a hard time with a stranger touching my car. I get tired of crawling under my 2002 Camaro SS at times, and have places like Jiffy lube change my oil every now and then ((never again, will they touch my car)). The guys at south valley, well, are they that good? YES!. This is coming from someone who is very hard to please. They have made every visit I've made their, welcomed. The service is nothing short of outstanding. They are well above the rest, in terms of service. My only complaint, and it's small and has nothing to do with their service, is the getting in & out. AllState sent me to Caliber Collision in mid December 2017 after an accident that damaged the front right fender. They did a great job on the fender of the car: you don't know that it was damaged. Very satisfied with the work and was done on time. Last month (October) while rotating the tires I noticed that the threads on one bolt on the front wheel were crossed. I don't know when the threads were damaged. I contacted Calliber and they promptly replaced the bolt....no problems at all. Abel and Carlos were very cordial and I really appreciated it. I had 3 accidents in a row(bad luck this year). i really wish i had my first two times fixed by south valley. Here I would like to share my best experience with them (compared to the first two): -- quality repairs, unlike the first two that i have to have them re-fix it, i have been driving my car for a while and I did find anything that i want to go back and check yet -- they work closely with insurance company. i was surprised that insurance company trust them thus didn't send his appraiser to estimate the damage (BTW, Steve is very great doing the job) -- the repair process is well-inform and fast, i have to mention the nice old lady in the front desk. she takes care of a lot of init processes and gets the car into the hand of right person asap -- I don't have insurance rental coverage but south valley helps with some. (I am very grateful for that) read more

This place is awesome! My Chevy Volt was rear ended two weeks ago and I took it to South Valley because they also do all of my auto repair work. I took the car in on a Monday and I had the car back on Friday and the work was so good that I couldn't even tell there was ever any damage. Really great service, especially from the staff in the office. Ron was the best! We called a couple of times during the week and he gave us a status report each time and he followed the work from start to finish. No customer appreciation... I had my car repaired at Caliber after a mirror was broken off on my 2016 Nissan Rogue. Now they did the repair, I got my keys back, and off I went. That was on 3/10/2017. They told me that if I ever have any problems with anything, just give them a call. So about a week later, I noticed some scratches in the finish on my hood. I thought maybe since they did such a great job before, that they could take a look at it and fix it. I had some time today to go over there, but called them first, and tried to see if they could take a look at it and give me a visual inspection and tell me if it could be fixed. I mentioned that I was there before, and that Savannah Soliz was the estimator. They said they would try and get someone to look at my car and call me back. I never heard back from them, so I decided to drive over there and wait. Well, when I got there, the receptionist looked up my name and told me that she would call Savannah and have someone look at my car. It was lunchtime, and was waiting for a long time and was told that it would probably be better to come back in the morning on another day since everyone was out to lunch. I told her that I was moving out of state in a few days and that I don't have much time, so I was hoping that someone would be helpful, especially since I had already paid them $500 for a previous repair and getting better treatment. But no such luck. Finally I just went outside while waiting for Savannah to get off the phone and I saw a technician outside, so I asked him to take a look at the scratches. He was very happy to help and told me it was not a big deal and that it could be buffed out 90% and he could do it. But then some girl came out of the office and told me that I could not talk to one of their techs and that I would have to speak to Savannah, who miraculously came out. She shook my hand, but I could tell she was not very happy. She took a look at the hood and said that the scratches were not there when I brought the car in, and told me that the damage could have been done by cats, debris, or whatever. She also said that the scratches were very deep and could not be buffed out but they would have to replace the entire hood! Then she rudely walked away without saying anything. I was completely amazed at how I got 2 completely different assessments and also was surprised at how she treated me just two weeks after getting my money. read more

Just wanted to respond to Steve's Comment. Once again, Steve was very nice, and the customer service was pretty good - the only point I am trying to get across is that South Valley's attention to detail is lacking. So, my recommendation to protect yourself is to get a bunch of high quality pictures and videos before you drop your car off in case they damage it while fixing it. The picture Steve mentioned in his response was a 100k photo taken by a very old camera - the picture was so fuzzy you can't really tell if the paint was chipped or not. The service here rocks! It takes that single-girl fear of "Am I going to be treated like a sucker and sold services I don't need?" and replaces it with a sigh of relief! Mike Jr. will make you feel comfortable with his sense of humor and surprise you with extra services like adding pressure to your tires, when you just came in to get an oil change. He makes you feel really special, not just like another customer in his busy day. The woman at the front desk (sorry, forgot your name) is such a Sweetheart too! After you leave South Valley, you'll feel so good about how your car looks and runs on the inside, that you'll end up taking it to get a Full Service car wash so the inside matches the outside. :) I've been a customer here for the last couple years, and it's about time that I give South Valley the praise the deserve. I've done a lot of different services here, besides just the basic oil change (tires, body repair, 100 K service) and I probably will take my Honda here until it "retires". I found them via Groupon. I have a Prius which requires 0W-20 synthetic oil and I made it clear to them what's needed, even wrote it on the work order. After I got home, I discovered that they used 5W-20 plus they left dirty print in my car. They offered to change it out for me but I declined seeing that they should have done it in the first place. read more

My car was recently hit and I went to SV to have it repaired. I am extremely particular and believe a car should never look like it was painted after an accident. I used a Groupon for a synethic oil change, and I am very impressed with the staff's friendliness and professional services. I made an appointment last minute and was miraculously able to be seen. Upon arrival, the front desk representative noticed I was very early and was able to fit me in. She was courteous and helpful. Long story short, it turns out there were several other problems with my car that was pretty disheartening (from normal wear-and-tear). Percy, the owner, shared that the oil pain screw was almost fully stripped which may have been done by a previous oil changer (probably Jiffy Lube........ :sigh:...). He also said that an important component of my car will break soon, and he can see about getting the part refurbished. However, Percy was very honest and did not take advantage of me by sharing that the refurbished part plus labor would be more than the car, so he recommended I get rid of it instead of having it repaired there. He also gave me some important suggestions on which cars he would recommend to get next and what to look out for. Percy also said that because I'm a customer here, any car I am interested in purchasing can first be brought to him for a free 27-point inspection to help out. He is wonderful! I had a great experience here, and I know sometimes some mechanics can try to cheat customers and sell unnecessary products and services. I felt that South Valley Collision & Auto Repair was opposite of this, and I am interested in returning back to them. Thank you Percy and staff!
