Right off the bat he was very welcoming, and was very patient with me as I had many questions. He took the time to go through the car's damages and educate me on things that might be needed to be addressed on my vehicle. This location has courteous customer service and I noticed upon picking up my vehicle that it was excellent quality work. Their team took care of everything, including contacting the insurance company so that I wouldn't have to deal with anything other than dropping off and picking up my vehicle. BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, THINK TWICE AND READ THIS REVIEW, Caliber's BBB ACCREDITED RATING HAS BEEN REVOKED FOR A REASON: My Mom was rear-ended in her Honda Insight by someone and progressive handled our claim since it was the other party's insurance. They referred us to Caliber Collision since they could guarantee their work on our vehicle so we decided to go to this location since it had the most amount of good reviews. We left it there and addressed our concerns/differences with the vehicle now that it had been damaged. This was written on paper and said by word of mouth to our service advisor (Robert). Robert explained that he heard our concerns and that the shop would handle the job easily and the car would not have any issues once it was done. Two weeks later, we picked up the car and noticed on the invoice that none of the details that we explained in the beginning were addressed (only the visible damage), but nothing underneath or mechanical was replaced. We explained that the car was making rattling noises underneath like never before and had terrible alignment as it veered to the right when driving after the accident. Robert was too scared to even talk to us when we arrived, so he brought out the manager of the facility to help speak on the vehicle. (large red flag) The manager explained that the rattling came from the shocks and that it had nothing to do with the accident, which is completely false as I have helped run a Body Shop for the past 10 years and I have vast experiences of my customers getting rear ended. The manager explained that since he wouldn't get paid for it by the insurance, he wouldn't replace it. Funny enough the insurance (progressive) said that if there is any damage pertaining to the accident, they would have no problem paying. Progressive said Caliber themselves said and explained with no insurance intervention "it was not part of the accident". (More than likely to get themselves away from doing any mechanical work) They did not care about our concerns and refused to do anymore work to the car. They completely lied about fixing the car right and decided to screw a future customer for them. The car now makes more rattles than ever before, the paint is over-sprayed other panels of the car and also the alignment was never fixed as they explained, "it has nothing to do with the accident" (their way of getting out of replacing things). On top of that they didn't even wash the car, literally dirtier than when we brought it. I'm disappointed with the work done here, I refuse to ever take any of my cars to all caliber collision locations, they're all the same. I saw collision on the business card and started hyperventilating. Maybe it's a myth, but auto shops usually charge you to walk through the door so I knew it couldn't be good. I have taken both of vehicles for collision repairs over the past four years and have spent over $45,000.00 in repairs thru my insurance company... supposedly they have a policy that states that they provide a "life time guarantee " on their materials an work performed... I have "NEVER USED ANY OTHER BODY REPAIR SHOP IN THE LAST FOUR YEARS! While detailing my Audi I noticed the lower front grill had developed son imperfections some type of fish eye look... so I proceeded to take the car back and spoke to the General Manager Robert De La Cruz he said no problem they would take care of this since they have a life time warranty.... After four days of them having the car he called me back and said that they had not painted the car and that his production manager said that work was not done... even though I have never had any one for the exception on their shop perform work on my Audi.... The service writer that took care of me was no longer with their company and he said he could not get a hold of him...even though they and I had all the documentation of the work been done there. He said that they would not work on my car to perform a resolution and stand behind their word - and policy.... And just like that they washed their hands of the issue. I brought my damaged 2022 Mercedes Benz 450 coupe front bumper into Caliper on 6/13/23. I did not get it back until 10/6/23. It was covered by my insurance and thus I was never offered a loaner during these 4+ months!!!! The first few weeks I was contacted by mobile but then after that, I had to call weekly to get updates. State Farm only allows 2 weeks of rental car coverage and thus I did not have my car until October. During the repair, "they" broke the wire engine harness (worked well when I brought it in) and then they stated that MBZ was back ordered on that part. I found it immediately on line @ Calstar Motors but they didn't want to get the part as it was available in 2 days. So I was absolutely stuck. I will say that the repair was done nicely and everything works as it should at present. I will NOT be using them again in Upland. I have been waiting for Mercury Insurance to return multiple phone calls for the past four days. I had been told to go to Caliber for an estimate. After waiting 10 minutes the estimator greets me and proceeds to tell me that they cannot complete the estimate today. I voiced my frustrations to him specifically about Mercury and he proceeds to say that I was directing profanity toward him and he wasn't going to do the estimate. I asked to speak with the Manager.
