I love coming to this particular location because it is easy to find parking. For a quick filling meal, for the price, $7, I buy 2 sides: broccoli soup and the chinese coleslaw. It is THAT GOOD! Well, I love broccoli soup, and I love cabbage. My other favorite is their CALIFORNIA CHICKEN SALAD white meat chicken, avocado, feta cheese, carrots, broccoli, lettuce, croutons, bell peppers, tomatoes, croutons, pasta, choice of dressing. I've eaten here for many years, and have always enjoyed the food, but I recently ordered catering for an event and had to comment. The process was extremely smooth. I was given options for vegan and vegetarian wraps, and a gluten-free choice to cover the variety of dietary requests for our event. Each box was packed as a complete grab-and-go, with a wrap, a side, napkins and utensils, and a cookie. When I arrived, my order wasn't quite ready, but when it was brought to my car a few minutes later, an employee sincerely thanked me for my patience, and she and another employee were pleasant and efficient as they loaded the bags into my car, smiling and chatting. The service made me feel like a valued customer, and the recipients were thrilled at the great food! Kudos to the staff for a tasty and successful lunch event! read more

Tried them for catering and their food was a perfect compliment for our party. all of the wraps were filled with quality and healthy food and individually already cut up for everyone to easily grab and enjoy. I've been coming to California Chicken Cafe for years and it's a great healthy option for lunch or dinner. The rotisserie chicken is always moist and the roasted potatoes are delicious with onions and spices. They also have pretty decent green salsa and bbq sauce that is self served that goes great with the chicken. My favorite dish is the Chinese chicken salad. The dressing is delicious, I always ask for extra dressing on the side. The pasta adds a great contrast to the crunchiness of the Chinese wonton noodles and almonds. I really enjoy the convenience of phone orders. You park behind the building and they hand deliver the food to your car. I can easily eat here 3x a week. read more

I do love California Chicken Cafe, it's a lovely place for me to enjoy a somewhat healthy meal for lunch working right across the street. I just recently went back to eating chicken & this is one of the few places that has very well done chicken. My only issues are that I don't like the size of the sides, i feel that they need to be bigger, especially for the price charged. And most employees who work here are fantastic, except for one cashier who seemed rather impatient when I was in there ordering last Wednesday night. I wouldn't want to be serviced by her again. I absolutely love the food here, everything I have had is terrific but with that being said there are a number of issues here. The parking is a nightmare here, kinda to be expected for the area but very frustrating. My wife and I ordered a Chinese chicken salad and a chicken rice wrap with Chinese salad dressing added. For the second visit in a row our order came out wrong. At least we were eating in this time and could have it fixed, the salad came out with no dressing on it and the wrap did not have the dressing I ordered either. When I went to ask for our order to be corrected, they hesitated to give me the dressing to the salad and they didn't give me a side of dressing for my wrap since it doesn't come with that (even though I ordered it that way) Very frustrated with the service, this will make me think twice about the next time I'm in the area, which is unfortunate because I love their food. read more

I used to work in Marina del Rey many moons ago and this place was always at the top of my lunch spots. Switched jobs and just couldn't justify making the drive back for CCC. However, this past week I was in the area and my niece and mom said they were open to trying a new spot, so I brought them here. They are VERY picky! Any who, mom ordered the chicken with potatoes, niece the chicken salad, and I the chinese chicken salad. All the food was cooked to perfection. The salads are large and very filling. My mom who hardly likes any restaurant was pleasantly surprised and finished her plate. She said the chicken was great and the potatoes were very yummy as well. I have eaten from this location for years now and never reviewed it. Catering from them is amazing if you are considering them to cater an event. But recently I have been enjoying their wraps and they are fantastic as well. The flavor of their chicken is incomparable whether you get a wrap or the actual chicken pieces. They line the take out boxes with pita and the drippings of the chicken get absorbed by the pita. Their rice pilaf is also an essential to have with your food. Their salads are also very good. I have been left very disappointed. Second time I Order through Uber eats and no pita bread has been give. To me in my orders. Is pita bread no long apart of the salad? Or what. And to add on more both my salads arrived with NO FETA and NO AVOCADOS! I am paying over $50.00 for my order.
