This location is always bad. I got a side of half and half (fry/onion ring) and without me even asking for it I was charged for ranch. I don't even like ranch and when I used to work at the habit, they never charged when you got a side for only 1, but in this instance I didn't even ask for that and was charged regardless because that's what the manager in the blue shirt put. I think it's ridiculous. You could pay close to six dollars for a half and half side and they wouldn't even offer you one free ranch. This location was dirty and loud. Whoever was in the blue shirt at the front needs better training now I wonder why he didn't want me to collect a receipt. It was not offered he said do you want one and didn't print it out. Horrible customer service. I called at approximately 6:31 PM on June 26 to place an order. The phone representative seemed to have difficulty understanding my Asian accent and may have entered my American Express card number or my name incorrectly. Instead of making any effort to verify my information or resolve the issue, he simply told me the store at 111 E. Katella Ave. was closed because it had closed at 6:00 PM. That was not true. I immediately placed the same order online, and my family successfully picked up the food. My 8-year-old and 11-year-old children overheard the conversation and also felt we were being treated differently because of my accent. I can't know the representative's intent, but the interaction left me feeling discriminated against. Management should investigate this incident. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect and given a genuine effort to resolve their issue. read more

This place was recommended by a friend, and the food didn't disappoint! Burgers were really good (from what my family said) and the chicken sandwich was delicious! I got it lettuce wrapped. The onions on top make it! Onion rings were perfectly crispy, and the fried green beans needed zero sauce. Service was okay. The reason I'm giving 3 stars, is due to how I saw the girl at the register handling food. She picked up fries with a napkin, made several shakes... all without washing her hands in between helping customers at the register. There was no hand sanitizer in sight. I stopped in last week and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on a wheat bun. It's one of my favorite sandwiches. I always ask for 2 slices of white cheese. This place is extremely understaffed and poorly managed. Even when there is no one in line to order other than me I still found myself waiting for 10 minutes to order. The person who is supposed to take my order is too busy filling all the other orders and basicly ignores the people in line. They're also really slow getting the food out. I have been to this Habit a few times and hit has been ok, good burger. But, today for the first time ordering there in a while we got delivery. They have halved the size of their salads, the fries were overcooked, and they forgot to put a meat patty on my burger! Kind of important if you ask me. I took some chicken from the salad and at least that helped a little. But, how on earth do you forget the burger patty. Not to mention the salad, which in the new containers they use is barely bigger than a side salad, is way overpriced for what you get now. Horrible service!! Avoid.. Came in on 6/28/25 at around 11pm the manager I guess with the black shirt is the worse!! Has an attitude problem not welcoming, and lady with glasses in the front is just the same. Talking about customers "wrong orders" out loud. Order ahead if you have to, if not. He had me pay extra for a dipping sauce that was not included gave me attitude and talk back to me ridiculous. YOu can never ever go wrong with the habit. First of all THIS LOCATION IS EVERYTHING... Its really spacious on the inside as well as the outside. We ordered the Char Burger x 2 with sweet potato fries - IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! What I really enjoyed was the strawberry drink at the fountain.
