    Toasted grill cheese sandwich

This is supposed to be a toasted grilled sandwich. The worst I have had. What an absolute waste of $15.00. Service was very poor not to mention the Luke warm hot chocolate

    the entrance to the store

Small checkout-less convenience store in JFK's terminal 4. It's supposed to automatically charge you for what you take (you swipe a credit card when entering). Not sure if it works correctly, since it charged me $10 for a $3 bottle of water. The QR code receipt didn't work.

    Turkey and Swiss

Imagine thinking that the turkey and Swiss sandwich could cost nearly $20 and look like this. They should be embarrassed to serve food that looks and tastes like this. I paid cash and got no receipt for this colorless, flaccid, oily bite of despair, so I doubt there's any recourse. Don't let this be your last meal before you leave NY.

Just charged my son $25 for a bag of chips. No one to talk to resolve issue and when sale is completed does not allow you to return item.

Meh. There are not many options this deep in the JFK terminal but Camden tries with sandwiches and soups and a few healthy snacks available to take with you to fly. I got a turkey sandwich that was just okay. Yep, very expensive even for airport food. Premade (though they will make stuff to order) and it sure felt like it. I'd bet the fresh to order is better and if I have time, I'll get that the next visit to this part of JFK.

Camden Food Co at JFK had a really nice feel to it, the store might have been a tad small (but it is an airport after all being located in Terminal 4 of NY JFK). They had a small selection of drinks which were really overpriced - but again it was similar to Hudson News - that'd both airports and New York for you. They did have a nice selection of snacks and a small selection of fresh food but the labelling for allergies on the fresh food could have been better and clearer in my opinion. The staff members seemed a little unhelpful and disinterested - I get working at an airport isn't great but there's still customers to be served, at least with a smile. The store looks good within the Terminal and has a concept matched by nowhere else in the airport to warrant an extra star but that's pretty much it. 2*

$ 9 bagel with cream cheese at JFK terminal 4 at Camden counter.

I purchased bagel with cream cheese at the JFK Terminal 4 at Camden Co. counter. There was almost no cream cheese in the $ 9 bagel. The man at the counter stated that this is the amount of cheese he is instructed to give. I made a picture of the bagel, which I would like to post for your perusal but this place doesn't allowed attachments. Thank you, paul somerville

Asked for the club but for some reason I was given the breakfast sandwich. Sign says any bread but apparently they won't give you the club on croissant. Line was confusing and Long. Took forever to check out. Sandwich was a pos. Cost $20 with drink

Beware: all sandwiches on the board are served hot, even ones that are normally served cold. Surly service. Avoid except for grab and go.

Avoid at JFK. Mediocre food with grumpy service. How do you serve a tasteless bagel sandwich in NY?

I got the ham, egg and cheese on a biscuit, with coffee and a glass of water. Coffee came. Sandwich came. No water. After asking for water again, twice, the water finally came. Asked for a refill on my coffee, and the server came with a large to go coffee for me (no extra charge). Nice.

I placed a to-go order and when I questioned how long it would take, so that we could walk around and come back to pick up the order, the waiter responded with an unnecessarily snarky attitude, telling me that they were "not a fast-food restaurant." I wasn't asking for fast food. I was simply asking about the wait time. There was absolutely no reason to be condescending to a customer. Since I didn't have 30 minutes to wait, I asked him to cancel the order and refund my payment. This somehow made him even snarkier. I asked to speak to a manager, who I'm fairly convinced may be a fictional character at this location. After some additional attitude, he finally agreed to cancel the order. Except he didn't. Which raises the obvious question: why work in an industry that requires you to interact with people when you seem to actively resent interacting with people? If basic courtesy and politeness are beyond your emotional bandwidth, perhaps customer service is not the career path for you. I was charged for an order I never received, and the refund was never processed. I only discovered the charge much later when reviewing my bank statement and ultimately had to dispute the transaction with my bank to get my money back. Avoid this place like the bubonic plague. Honestly, the plague might offer better hospitality.
