Where to start! The customer service is beyond perfect! They treat you like family. And do not get me started with their food. This is my 5th time coming here and it never fails to leave with a full tummy, the plates are fully full. And the flavor is Delicioso! Last enchiladas are my favorite. First time here after my son's baseball game, and this spot hit the spot! I had a serious craving for molcajete and ordered the molcajete mixto -- it came with chicken, fish, cooked oysters, shrimp, and steak & can't forget the onion with the bell peppers & nopales. The flavor was amazing, and the juices were so good I used the oyster shell as a spoon! Outside, there was a gentleman making fresh handmade tortillas -- those were too. We came on a Saturday and it was pretty empty, but we actually liked that. Chill vibe, no wait, and great service. Our waitress was super friendly. Only heads up -- they don't have a kids menu, but we ordered a burrito for my son and he enjoyed it. My husband got a michelada with shrimp on the rim and loved it. Food came out fast, tasted fresh, and left us full and happy. Not 100% sure if they have a restroom -- I didn't see one, but I didn't ask either. Overall: 9/10. My burrito loving heart is so happy to have found this place! We have tried so many Mexican food restaurants around San Jose and settled for a lot of disappointing burritos. Finally, we have found THE spot. I really love their shrimp burrito, the beans and rice have such a great flavor, even the tortilla is extra good. I want to try their mole' sauce so bad too. I am hoping I can talk them into making me a chicken mole' burrito one of these days. Do not sleep on this place. Yes, it's in a rough area. Honestly, my husband goes and picks it up for me. We could not stop eating even though we knew we were too full and should stop. Don't even get me going on the drinks. If you're a fan of holding a goblet of happiness with two beer bottles hanging upside down out of it and half of the shrimp of the Pacific Ocean trying to jump out, this is the place for you. I have reached my max number of claims with DoorDash, so I decided to leave a review to warn everyone ordering here via DoorDash. Food is good, but the consistency of poor delivery does not equate to the cost, basically DoorDash has penalized me for the missed order by either the driver or the restaurant.
