Growing up, I never really liked al pastor. I first visited Lucy's Mexican Grill a few years ago, probably around 2018 or 2020, when a friend brought me here and recommended the mulitas. I tried them, and they were amazing. My friend also suggested that I give the al pastor a chance, and I am so glad I did. It is hands down the best al pastor recipe I have ever tasted. I will not order al pastor from another restaurant anymore. If I want al pastor, I am coming to Lucy's Mexican Grill. If you visit, definitely try the mulitas and the al pastor. You will not regret it. The meat is fresh, flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious. Every time I come here, I also receive great service. The drinks are refreshing too, and I especially love when they have the pineapple agua fresca. Lucy's has completely changed my opinion of al pastor, and I keep coming back for a reason. read more

Hits the spot! They loaded up my taco plate to the brim. I love how pillowy soft their tortillas are and gave so much protein. Rice was on the dry side and beans are beans. Service is normal and fast. We did a large order for the office and I'm not sure why the worker gave me a side eye when I asked for extra sauce (she only gave 4 green sauces for 4 orders). Are we supposed to all share sauces...? Green sauce is really good and orange sauce is very spicy. Will likely return despite the little blips in the food and service due to convenience. read more

On a whim we stumbled on this great place as we were in the area and it was an amazing find! It's located in a small complex area and the outside looks like any storefront. The burritos were heavy and huge. The first bite was a burst of flavor and deliciousness. I was thoroughly impressed how wonderful the burrito was. The al pastor meat was marinated and cooked so well. There were so many components of the super burrito. We'll definitely be back whenever we are craving for good Mexican food. read more

Today, the Husband and I needed something to hold us over, until We made it home for dinner, so to Lucy's We headed... we were 5 minutes away and she's been bookmarked for a while now, and today was the day where I found out if she's earned her stars. We decided to share the Grilled Vance burrito and We made it wet(mojado), with half green(verde), half red(rojo) sauce, seeing as we've never visited I wanted to know which one was best, and the red took first place. The burrito gets 4 stars, it was a bit small...too much tortilla for Me, I prefer more filling, especially for $16, and the flavor was average, but the texture of the meat was good. The gentleman who assisted us was top notch, he really looked out, and was very accommodating. He provided us with complimentary chips and salsa, as well as grilled onion and jalapeño. The service was 5 stars. The interior dining area consists of 3 basic tables and chairs. 2 tables that seat 2, and 1 that seats four. The ambiance 3 stars. The tacos were solid and the burrito was good! They also give free chips and salsa. I was disappointed with the nachos. I wasn't sure if they forgot the toppings or if it doesn't come with regular nachos, but it looked kind of sad without pico de gallo and jalapeños. There was melted cheese on the top along with the meat and beans, but it looked microwaved and the chips were super soggy. The worst nachos I've ever had. I knocked off a star for the microwaved nachos, but I do recommend Lucy's for their tacos and burritos. read more

So dang good and worth the visit. Solid food and solid service. Came in around 7:30pm, they were busy, but I didn't have to wait long. I ordered after a family and it came out within 15min or less. Some people were dining in, some people were waiting for their order and they seemed really efficient in getting the food out. They have a just a few tables inside and some stools/counter along a wall to eat at or wait. Their menu is up on the wall and has details of everything that comes with an order. Order: Asada Fries $12.39 - yummm, French fries, cheese, meat, sour cream, pico de gallo, you just can't go wrong. San Jose Burrito $13.49 - French fries inside haha, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. I chose Asada for the meat. It was a hefty size and very filling. Super Burrito $13.49 - just try it. You can customize it and it was also a hefty size, generous filling. I also went with Asada for this one. They also provided free sauces, but I don't remember the flavors. I just know they were spicy! And they even threw in a pile of warm tortillas on the house!! The people there were very welcoming. Their service, price point, and taste is worthy of a 5 star review. It's very nice place but small. They've been busy but service was quick. I wouldn't come with my family as there's no room to sit really unless you're 2-3 people tops. I stopped by here to grab lunch to take home. I checked out the menu to see their offerings. The menu is displayed above the register. I decided on the super burrito with carnitas. The inside is small with just a few tables for dining in. Service was good. When I got home I noticed on my receipt, I was charged more than what the price said on the menu. I couldn't figure out why. I thought that was really strange. The only thing I could think of was that I asked for refried beans instead of whole beans. The employee never mentioned there would be a charge for that. The burrito was just okay. The carnitas were extremely salty and I was not given very much. In fact the burrito was not very heavy compared to what I'm used to getting other places. I did however like their green salsa. That was really good. Not sure if I will be back again. I have been a regular customer and have enjoyed the meals I've eaten until now. Last night, I went to pay and pick up my order and had to wait a few minutes. They asked if I wanted any sauce and chips. While I waited, I watched the cook put my meals in the microwave! She pulled my containers out of the microwave with the enchiladas in it. She then added the beans, lettuce, & tomatoes. I won't be ordering from them anymore, as no one should pay for microwaved food! I want fresh food cooked in an oven from a restaurant! read more

He went back in to have them change it and gave it back to him with no pico which they stated that the asada fries doesn't come with pico which is a lie we always got pico on it. We don't eat simple carbohydrates - no beans, no rice, and we bring our own zero carb tortillas. I give any Mexican restaurant 5 stars when they give us a delicious plentiful custom plate for a reasonable price. $20 got us a huge plate of delicious Cabeza and Lengua. They serve you ala cart from various things they have behind a sneeze guard. We picked a bunch of vegetables, peppers, cheese, sour cream, salsa and guacamole. This place is definitely overhyped. Theres barely any cheese in my nachos, just slapped on a bunch of refried beans. Depressing as hell.

I was introduced to this spot by a coworker. I just happened to mention that I was craving a taqueria burrito and mentions Lucy's. She was right! The burritos here do NOT disappoint. For a while, my roommate and I were fixated on the burritos and nacho fries. We must have ordered from here, at least, once a week for months. I don't believe they have seats in here, but I could be wrong. It does take them a little bit to get orders out, so when we get this for lunch, we tend to call in our orders before we leave our work site. When we do this, we get back to work in plenty of time to eat and clock in on time. The shop looks exactly how you would expect a small taqueria to look. No fill or thrills. This is not a review I wanted to write, but when a company refuses to refund you, what other option do I have? Sunday morning I placed an online order for a Breakfast Burrito and Ceviche Tostada. I arrive and they say they don't have the Ceviche Tostada, I say no worries. They offer 1x taco as a replacement... the tostada is $7, so I suggested how about 2x tacos? They said no, one I said okay I'll just have it refunded then. They make the burrito and hand it off to me with the receipt fully charged, I ask again about the refund. They don't know how to do it and tell me to call the online system I paid through (Clover). I try to contact them the say the restaurant has to do it. I call back, a man who didn't speak great English answered (may have been same guy) he ended up hanging up when I asked for manager. I then sent an email through the contact on their website and haven't received any correspondence back. I know it's only $7, but it's a shame they can't even respond. I've also learned how easy it is on those clover systems for them to have just done it that morning, it's easy to refund items (the Clover support told me) I personally won't be back, this whole thing could've been solved by quickly throwing two small tacos together or refunding the item in the kiosk, but if you do never order online.
