The chicken enchiladas sucked. The chicken meat was nasty, hard and appeared old. It really takes a lot to screw up enchiladas. When I returned them she asked if I wanted something else and I said I will just eat the rice and beans on the plate. She charged me for the rice and beans. Also, during our entire meal, the employees were just sitting there drinking beers not providing service. I went to the jukebox to possibly play a song and after a few seconds of browsing, someone who worked there immediately played an annoying song. Ordered takeout and waited an hour for our food. The take out was messy when she handed it to us, containers hadn't been closed right so everything was spilling. There service is horrendous. We were totally ignored by all the worker the whole time we where there, when we wanted to order and pay each time we had to actually get up and look for an employee in the back. I shall never visit again. I ordered a steak salad and it was horrible all lettuce, paper thin avocados and tomato. Ranch that was worse than Hidden Valley. I asked for a Margarita and they had none, asked for Pina colada they had none. My boyfriends food was bland. Customer service was ok, highlights of the night was the corn tortillas. Their version of "carne asada" was a soggy pile of small pieces of beef with very little seasoning and no char at all. The carnitas smelled old and gamey and the cabeza looked terrible. I ate the carne asada and that was enough to know it wasn't worth finishing the other two. Even the refried beans were watery and smelled old. The small amount I ate tore up my stomach, and I eat a lot of Mexican food from random places. This has been the worst since moving to California. read more

When he got it he had to return it because it had rice and pico de gallo. When he got the second one it didn't have pico de gallo but it still had rice! My family and I went there on a Saturday. It was not busy. The waitresses were in the back talking, didnt seat us until I had to walk up to ask for a table. (No biggie) we were sat down on a booth as requested. We were visible to the waitresses. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. We drank our drinks while watching the soccer game. A different waitress came by to ask if we ordered already, I said yes. Didn't realized the time passing while waiting for the food. The same waitress that took our order came by and asked if we already had ate?? I told her we never received our food. Turns out they never put the ticket in the kitchen! We waited for about an hour!! At this point I was more irritated than hungry. Once the food came out the order was incorrect. They corrected that right away, but seem bothered by it. I asked for a to go box for my plate and as I paid I noticed the waitress that took our order was drinking a beer next to the register. We weren't hard to miss or forget about because we were the only bi-racial family in the restaurant. We won't be eating here again. read more

Came here this past Saturday night and the place was a little busy. But we were seated right away and they took our drink order. We ordered Sol chavelas first, then the food, enchiladas suizas, a campechana and tacos, one each of asada, pastor, chorizo and birria(goat). The tacos would be the only thing I recommend, especially the birria taco. They served them with hand made tortillas, a side of onions and cilantro to fix them up how you like and plenty of meat. The flavor of the birria was really good and flavorful. The rest of the food was ok. The service was good. Would come back to try other dishes but definitely be back for the Birria tacos. read more

Ended up getting enchiladas suizas (good!) as well and the portion of guac was hearty and very tasty. I was disappointed that even though there was only three dining parties (a total of 6 people, me and the SO included) I had to repeatedly get up and ask for more beer and lemons and stuff. I ordered a small plate of rice for my daughter and it comes back cold and some pieces were too hard meaning it was probably sitting around and they just reheated it and served it. 2.) they give my bf a wrong order. we kindly tell them and the waitress came with an attitude saying "give me the plate". EXCUSE ME!? 3.) when they do finally bring the right plate out, it's missing items. He ordered the camarones mariachi which come with white rice, a side of salad and some oranges. We get a plate of rice and burnt ass shrimp. Im obviously annoyed so we don't say anything at this point cause my bf's really hungry. When I go pay, I ask if it would be possible to get a small discount on that plate since it was wrong the first time they brough it out and the second time it was missing a side. The waitress says "well let me tell the OWNER since he's the one who cooked it" didn't even let me finish speaking when she started walking away. Comes back and says "The OWNER said he'll give you the orange if that's what your complaining about but he isn't gonna give you a discount." At this point i'm livid. I tell her "you guys can't get the order right and when you do you cant even cook it right either?" tells me the plate doesnt come with a salad and i'm annoyed bc I've clearly been there numerous times and always get that dish, how are you gonna tell me what I eat? Food is really good the only bad thing is the service I placed my order and the waiter brought my food after an hour.

We had the mariachi shrimp (bacon wrapped, stuffed with cheese and chile) as well as the shrimp empanada, a shrimp tostada, and a shrimp chavela! It was a shrimp fiesta :) the food was all very good. The shrimp chavela was my favorite. The waitress was having issues with the computer so they comped our meal! Overall great service, I will be back soon. read more

Horrible customer service. Came here on a Sunday, it wasn't too busy. The waitress took over 20 min to take our drink order and bring them to the table. Finally when she took our food order and after an hour just to get our food (which wasn't that great), the waitress also wrote down the wrong order and told us it would take a while to place the order again! Now I would understand if the restaurant was packed on a Sunday night and being short staffed, but neither was the case. The waitress was very inattentive and unconcerned with how long our wait time was by not bothering to check in on us or to even take responsibility for taking down the wrong order, let alone offer to make things right for her mistake. I liked that the menu had Spanish first and English second - and I felt like there were definitely more Spanish speaking clients there.
