In Zion / Springdale for only two days and we ate here TWICE! We stopped in for lunch for both days and we would happily go back again! Thus, 5 stars! Crazy parking in a dirt lot but at least they have parking. Large dining space both inside and out. Counter service which was quick and friendly. During our two lunches I had the gigantic Caesar salad with rotisserie chicken and the 1/2 rotisserie chicken with side salad. The 1/2 chicken was delicious. I came back to get that after tasting the flavor of the rotisserie chicken on the salad. The only thing I would change is the amount of dressing/cheese on the salad, it was too much. My husband had the outpost club and then the fried chicken. He loved them both. Everything here is large portions, fresh and hot and delicious! Waitstaff is friendly and helpful. If/when we are back in Zion, this is an EASY delicious lunch spot! read more

Super, super, über recommend the Camp Outpost! At the entrance of Zion National park, it was a great find! I had my birthday dinner here this year! I had a burger and it was delicious! It was juicy, but thoroughly cooked, their aioli was fantastic and the fries are thin, exactly the way I like them! The star of the night were the crispy Brussels Sprouts, though! Crispy and soft at the same time, full of flavor and texture. They have a selection of house wines and the rose was good. Service was fantastic! Everyone was lovely and proud of the food they were serving (as they should!). The view is the icing on the cake! Any table at Camp Outpost gives you a privileged view of the Zion mountains! Wow! I'm not sure you will find a better hamburger anywhere in Zion. We ate one other place and decided to come back here again! The buns are delicious, the burger is juicy, the fries are crisp, and the people are friendly. We had the Camp Burger, it was too big for me. The 2nd time we ordered the kids burger with cheese and bacon, lettuce, & tomato. It was still too big for me. If you have bird eaters in your family, they could easily split one. The outside patio is lovely on a sunny fall afternoon. I also saw a fire pit out there for the evening. They have alcohol and margaritas here too. The food here is decent. A nice selection. I had the sausage platter. The roasted potatoes weren't seasoned and theyre quite a mouthful to eat. They would have been great smashed w butter and a seasoning salt. The sausages would have been nice with some sauces (bbq, dijon, horseradish aioli). I honestly don't remember if the platter had any. Some steamed veggies came w the platter. Cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots. The florets were really tiny and the amount they gave could fit in a tablespoon coffee scoop. It would have been nice if they had soda fountain drinks, but all they had were plastic bottle sodas. We ordered the Brussel sprouts for our table and they over roasted. The leaves were like biting into a sheet of ash. It just deteriorated on the tongue. The center just crumbled and fell apart into crumbs. After trying to pluck them off the plate w a fork all that was left were shattered bits of blackened leaves. Sorry if this review came off as a bummer. I had high hopes after seeing the menu and viewing the photos on Yelp but I ended up being less than impressed. :( read more

It wasn't too busy on a weekend when we had went. Their food was great but I wish they had bigger bowls for their salads. Their prices were a bit steep considering they don't give much food specifically protein. The drinks were okay and service was alright. Camp Outpost is definitely the spot. There are a lot of delicious restaurants in Springdale to visit after a long hike, but Camp Outpost is our favorite. Cold beer, amazing food, kind and patient service and an amazing view are all reasons we look forward to coming in. The Rotisserie Chicken is perfect and the Brussel sprouts are crispy and delicious. We finally came to Camp Outpost on our last day in Springdale. I wish we had come sooner! From the moment we arrived we couldn't have felt more welcomed by the staff. The patio was the perfect place for some amazing sandwiches. We had a roasted pork sandwich and their club sandwich which is made using their whole roasted chicken which is spectacular. We came in very hungry after a series of long hikes in Zion and were very pleasantly surprised by the hospitality, the clean modern feel of the space, as well as the delicious and enormous portions of our meal. Both entrees we got were much bigger than expected - The crispy shrimp sandwich on house made flatbread was almost 12" long! The shrimp were numerous and big, the pickled veggies nicely tart but crisp, and the sweet potato fries (extra charge) was perfectly crispy on the outside but pillowy on the inside. The flatbread was also crisp yet fluffy - the best version of a chalupa shell without the heaviness of it being fried. The Saratoga pork roast was also huge, and seemed to be an entire loin with about 8 slices covering luscious cheesy grits and spinach. Lastly the prickly pear margaritas were light and refreshing! I didn't get to try anything else as we had to save about half of each of our meals but the rest of the food around us also looked delicious and huge. I would definitely recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner whenever you are in town for Zion and I bet you won't be disappointed! read more

The staff was so genuinely friendly and happy to help which was a wonderful way to start the morning It's not a coffee place so we knew we had to go back to try out their food. We were traveling through the area and decided to stop based on reviews. We ordered a camp burger, fries and a float. Food was ok, what they didn't tell us is that it came with a mandatory 3% "living wage" fee, plus tax plus another 3% credit card fee - and of course they want a tip. Seriously, the theft by restaurants today is unbelievable. These fees aren't disclosed, that means I am being charged more than the advertised price. After basically our 24 hours in Zion, we were headed back to Vegas but wanted to make a quick stop in downtown Springdale just after we left Zion for lunch and we came to Camp Outpost, which is literally the CUTEST RESTAURANT EVER AND ONE OF MY DREAMS!!!! I highly recommend everyone come here because you get stunning views of the mountains, patio seating and inside seating that almost feels a bit mess hall-y, which is so cute. It's sandwiches and sides and everything on the menu looked so delicious! Such great branding and amenities and I just absolutely loved the vibes here!
