Had purchased a trailer brand new elsewhere, I had a leaking outdoor shower so I took to them to see about getting warranty work done. This dealer sells my exact trailer by the way. I went in and spoke to the Service writer, he was rude when I responded I didn't buy from them, but he still set up a warranty claim for me. Few days later I get email saying they need pictures, so I send pictures. I get an email back saying that they no longer can help me since I didn't buy from them. When I was there they had a fridge delivered for a customer, some parts guy came out and saw the big gash on the side of the fridge and I quote "as long as it works and customer doesn't see it just sell it". Great parts guys, thumbs up!!! Will be filing complaint with Keystone. This is bad business. read more

Don't try to take your RV to Sierra RV for any kind of service. I called to have my 5th wheel worked on and was told because I didn't buy the unit there, the earliest they could schedule the unit for service was over four months out. That is unacceptable. People that purchased units at the dealership were getting scheduled within weeks. I don't know how they can bill them selves as a "super center" with that kind of service. I went to another local dealer and got service in just a couple of weeks. Avoid Sierra RV. read more

Definitely NOT a super center! The owner, McDonald told us that she did not like doing warranty work because it isn't cost effective. REALLY - then I suggest you don't buy a trailer from Sierra RV. The service manager said they only guarantee their work for 30 days but it takes 2 months to get an appointment and then 7 days to wait for them to work on it. If you do have a problem with the service, before you can complete your first sentence; they are telling you 'it's not their fault'. Avoid this place - there are lots of good dealerships that would be happy to have your business. read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a trailer. We googled some places that were closest to us just to look at the floor plans because looking at them online just doesn't do it justice. As we get to our first stop a gentleman named Mark listen to our needs , we hoped in a golf cart and he took us to the trailers that fit our needs. He told us a little about all of them and highly suggested that we look at a particular one, he warned us that it was a little out of our price range and let us freely look at all of them he came back a few times to check on us to see if we needed anything if we had any questions. We loved that he let us look on our own didn't feel pressure or anything. After looking at all the trailers we went into the one he suggested and we instantly feel in love with it he explained all the features. We said we needed to look at other places and we left never felt pressure or brushed off when we left. We went driving all over town looking at others rv companies but the customer service, the knowledge of the sales people and the trailers none compared to Sierra RV Super Center or to Mark so we went back and bought the trailer we fell in love with! The only down fall was out own fault and that was we wanted a short monthly pay off which would have lowered our interest rate but that was our fault for not pushing it. But either way if ur looking to buy an RV I highly recommend you go here and ask for Mark. read more

We first went to a different dealer down the street. They were nice and helpful but didn't have anything that would fit our needs. Our second stop was Sierra RV. We were greeted by Mark Murphy who pointed us in the direction of several trailers that met our criteria. He left us alone to look at the various trailers, periodically checking on us. We found a trailer that had everything we wanted and more. From there, Mark took over and everything was a breeze! Sierra RV and Mark gave us a great deal on a 2019 model that will last us for many years to come. The finance manager Bryan Chowanski did a great job explaining everything from the financing to warranties making sure we understood the avalanche of information. The absolute worst experience I have ever had. After getting jerked around for three days missing work to deal with these idiots I finally got my rv. Got it home and the curtain is broke, the table seat is falling apart, a pipe is leaking in the bathroom seeping through the walls, the front door won't close. We purchased our 5th Wheel here last year and have been on a few camping trips. For Memorial Day, I picked up our rig in California and headed home to Reno so we could load it up and enjoy the holiday in the mountains. Unfortunately, the refrigerator stopped working and we were in jeopardy of canceling the trip. I checked everything that I knew how to look for, but could not find anything out of sorts. The manufacturer left early, so I called Sierra RV. They stayed late to check me in, and the service manager recognized me from previous visits and he jumped right in with his team to see if there was something they could do to help. The guys pulled out the service panel, checked continuity, and found a tiny fuse behind a panel and VIOLA! a 5amp fuse was blown. I never would have found it. They took the time to help us, gave me a few extra fuses and I was on my way. They literally saved our vacation! Thanks so much!!! read more

Wow, three stars is way to generous. I took my motorhome in to fix roof and go through my rig. They did half ass job on roof according to one other repair shop and it cost me 1000 buck. They charged me 200 bucks to go through system. What a joke that was. The slide and water pump didn't work when I got it back. I took it back to have them fix and they wanted to charge me to go through the system again. I went to pick up rig and both the driver door and door into motorhome was unlocked. Do not purchase anything from this shop. I bought a brand new Jayco from them 2 years ago and already have had to replace the cooling unit (fridge and frezer), the water heater ( which never has worked) and the carbon monoxide/smoke detector. The last time I took it into their repair shop, it was gone for 18 weeks and their service department would not return any phone calls. Today I called and they told me it was not their fault that those systems broke, it was the manufacturer. They take no accountability in their product or their service. read more

Currently locked on their property as I am writing this. Called and talked with a receptionist who said the place was open till six. Showed up at 5:50 to grab a simple part, turns out parts department closes at five! Had a older white guy in a white Honda sedan pull up behind me and then zoom off. While exiting the property I noticed the same guy locking the gate and I pulled up 10 feet away from him in a diesel truck yelling "excuse me sir" multiple times as he ignored me, got in his white sedan and sped off leaving me locked on the property! Called the police and their security company! The same guy returned to let me out but claimed he didn't hear me which I find hard to believe considering I was driving a diesel truck 10 feet away from him yelling out the window. read more

Since Camping World states "best prices, period!", I called them to match a price on a new trailer from another dealer. After saying they would match the price, they reneged on the agreement and raised their price due to different MSRP's between the one I have on order and theirs. Eventually, the salesman found out that this particular manufacturer allows dealers to set their own MSRP's. The next day I offered them more (spitting the difference) and committed to buying a rather expensive accessory from them. This time they rejected the new offer apparently because they didn't accurately know their costs. The salesman was nice and apologetic, but his management team is who I have a complaint with. I now understand why this dealer has such a low approval score. I will do my best to never do business with this company in the future. read more

I dropped off a Four Winds 35 SK motor home for warranty work on a front fuel tank fill issue. The work was done promptly on the day after I dropped the vehicle off. Margo did a very good job of relaying my description of the problem to the technician. Although I did not buy the motor home from Sierra, the work was done promptly. The only minor frustration was their reluctance to commit to a completion date even though I had an appointment. The obvious business reason is they need some flexibility to do work in support of current sales and for their own customers. Anyway, this was not a problem for me. read more

Yesterday we traveled to Sierra RV on South Virgina St., to use our camping world coupon. When we arrived there is a large sign saying Camping World. The small store says Camping World. We picked out a couple of items and proceeded to check out. The lady saw our coupon and said they could not be used because they are not camping world yet. She appeared slightly confused but continued to say they could not take the camping world coupon. I purchased a new 2017 toyhauler from SierraRv and had a great experience with the purchase. Unfortunately that experience changes drastically once the purchase is complete. I have spent months and several trips hauling my trailer to SierraRV service center to get several items fixed that were identified as problems when we did the walkthrough on my trailer at purchase. Once you buy the trailer you are no longer a VIP customer and quickly become a nuisance and it is like pulling teeth to get warranty work completed, even though I bought the trailer there. read more

We have been using Sierra rv for our r.v. repairs for 3 years. We have purchased two rv,s from them. Over that time we have become more than frustrated with the service department!!! Every time you call to make an appointment the normal wait time is two weeks, that's ok. But....then it's two weeks before they even look at it!!! What is the point of making an appointment????? This time our rig has been sitting in their service department lot one month as of today!!!! I got an email stating our part should be there 3 days ago. Have we gotten a call saying come pick up your rig it is finished? NO! It is not a big repair that needs to be done - it's replacing a sky light. This will be the last time we use Sierra rv! Here is the kicker to story, last year we had them replace all of the outside awnings, this year it leaks BIG time right under one of the awnings they installed ...... Funny they can't find a leak! We have had it! Because of this I missed going to Yosemite and seeing the falls flowing in all their glory . Word to the wise don't make reservations anytime close to when you think the work should be done if you use Sierra rv. Update we got our rig home I hooked up a hose and got a ladder / within five minutes I had found the leak including the time it took to get the ladder and hose. read more

Plenty of salesmen were on hand and when I was approached, I told the salesman that I was not here to buy since I already own an RV, just here to look so he wouldn't have to waste his time on me and could focus on someone else who may be purchasing. I purchased a new 2017 RV from an out of state dealer. On my first trip out we had multiple issues and needed to get into a shop to have warranty work done. I called Sierra RV and although they sell Forest River products I was told they wouldn't do warranty work on my RV because I didn't purchase it from them. This left me completely stranded because the dealer I purchased from is over 600 miles away one way. I will never do business with Sierra RV even after my one year warranty expires. Just be aware that if your Sierra RV breaks down away from Reno you will likely be left stranded too. read more

We bought our 2014 travel trailer here, that was a great experience. Have brought it for yearly services since. We live 2.5 hours away and we were told we could no longer Bring it and drop it for service, had to have an appt due to the fact there are new owners. The guy in service Jason, called a couple of days after drop off and said the part we needed wasn't actually broken they believed, so good news. Said he'd let me know for sure ASAP. 3-4 days after that he called and explained all the things they needed to do to it and what was broken. I referred to our last phone call and he said, " oh sorry the 1st time I called I thought I was calling someone else, I had the wrong trailer." Umm k? Then a week and a 1/2 later called and said he'd been trying to reach me for days and couldn't leave a voice mail so it had been ready a few days and they now charge $50 per day "storage" after it's ready and you don't pick it up. I told him I didn't understand why he couldn't leave me a message and he talked a mile a minute over me. Went to pick it up a day later and Jason told us the total was just over $700. A minute later he said, oops sorry that's just parts. Total is actually just under $1400!! Wth?! I refused to pay storage fee and his boss made it right but he was snippy and asked to see my phone to prove I hadn't gotten his calls. He asked for a "better number" I told him we wouldn't be back. Then he gave me someone else's trailer and pickup keys. Never have I been so angry with a customer service Dept. DO NOT COME HERE FOR SERVICE THEY ARE LOOKING TO MAKE $$ anyway they can and are incompetent. It WAS NOT this way before new ownership took over. read more

Sierra RV was highly recommended and to Reno we traveled. The young woman at the parts desk advised they had no inventory but recently ordered some and they were expected to arrive in a couple days. She showed me the catalog and warned me the prices were not the same. As a matter of fact the new prices were nearly double! Her explanation was new ownership a month ago. She reluctantly allowed me to look at the catalog. No cooperation. No incentive to order. I left vowing NOT to use them for parts or service. read more

We originally went to them because we bought an item from camping world and needed to return it and the website said we could return the item to Sierra RV. When we arrived we were.told they did not take returns for camping world. So we proceeded to look for the tire covers that we needed. We found the one that we needed and the price on the box was marked 22.03, but when we went to pay, the price came up as 33.99. He "generously" offered us a 10 % discount which didn't even come close to the price on the box. Most places will give you the price that is marked on the item, not them! They told me flooring and roofing repairs were "winter" repairs and told me to bring trailer back in October. Now they are saying keystone won't honor warranty. read more

The sales team was fine, of course, since they want to make a sale. Immediately after the purchase is where the problems started. First they called to inform me that my new Cougar had a couple defective blinds they had not replaced. I called and they scheduled me for April. I hooked it up, drove it back down there for the service figuring it would take less than a day. Then they informed me they couldn't get to it until July. Why would they schedule an appointment in April if they can't get to in until 3 months later. Now I understand why there are several hundred RVs laying around waiting for service. I picked it up right away as we had a trip planned, and they handed me the blinds and said I could install them myself. Then in October one of the batteries died. Just wouldn't hold a charge. They did replace the first one, but when I realized recently the second one has also died, they told me "sorry, you are just outside the warranty period". It was literally right at the 1 year mark. And I have never had a battery last less than a year. So after buying a $40,000 trailer, they won't even give me a replacement battery. Wish I had bought my trailer somewhere else. read more

By far the worst RV Dealership I have had the displeasure of dealing with! I contacted this dealership to set up an appointment to have some Factory Warranty issues taken care of on my Jayco. A service representative informed me that they were not accepting any factory warranty work except for people who purchased their unit from them and that I would have to drive to Sacramento! Reading the other reviews it appears my problem is common for Sierra RV. My camper has been in their shop since early November 2020 for roof replacement - yes, that's 8 months and counting. Many excuses along the way, mostly blaming the manufacturer (wrong parts, damaged parts, shipping delay, etc etc etc). June 10 we're told "parts are in, camper is in tech stall, will be done by the end of the month". July 7th we told "parts are in, camper is in tech stall to be worked on..." After we pointed out that was the same thing they said a month ago we were promised completion by next week. Unfortunately I have a hard time believing. We already postponed a planned trip to July (and told them that), and now have to cancel those dates as well. This is the absolute worst example of customer service, and sadly not my first bad experience with this company. We've discussed selling our Jayco just to avoid having to use their service department for warranty or insurance work. read more

When I needed help with servicing, I was told that it would "be impossible to talk to someone" when I called. I could only leave a message. Wow! I think I will go elsewhere for servicing from now on. I will never ever deal with Sierra rv service again. First, Their policy of making an appt to drop it off and not saying the work will be done didn't work for me. The first 100 mile round trip to them, it took 3 1/2 hours to decide the part wouldn't attach. They ordered the part, 10 day wait after the part came in. Another 100 mile round trip. They didn't open the box. 2 1/2 hour wait, found the part damaged, "did I want it installed anyway?" . Insurance company told them to cancel the order and they called me 2 times after that. Over 2 months, messing around with them. Went to another shop, appt to get the work done, done in 2 hours instead of the 5 hours Sierra was going to charge. read more

Ugg! Where do I start!!! I purchased a 2019 Aspen Trail from Sierra early 2020. Dutchman uses week inferior materials in the construction of their RV's. The dinette mount screws pulled through the floor of the slide out. I repositioned the mounts with the original screws when I retracted the slide out the screws grabbed the linoleum floor and tore the flooring. If you have an Aspen Trail do not transport with the dinette mounted , stow it in the bed position. They have denied my claim saying it was my fault. Well I wouldn't have had to try to fix it if it didn't pull through in the first place. So! Lets talk about Sierra's service department! They must be part timers because I could not ever get in touch with the person assigned to my claim, after severl emails and personal visits she finally gave me a text number stating its easier to contact her, except she wont answer your text for two to three weeks. My trailer was in the shop for 4 months, the service team doesn't appear to want to help in any way and appear not to want to support your claim. They know better then any of us what will work and what wont but appear to not care. The Keystone Hornet I traded in for the Aspen Trail is a far superior rig, I wish I could get it back. Needless to say I will never purchase another Dutchman product, never purchase from Sierra. So Dissatisfied!!! The only reason I gave Sierra 1 star is because yelp wont let me leave 0 stars!!! read more

I visited this location in hopes to find a good used trailer for a reasonable price. It was 1/2 hour after they had opened on a big sales event weekend. I first had to "look" for a sales associate, after finding one I told them I was interested in a used Trailer, which he proceeded to show me their new stock. I kindly told him my interest was in used trailers. He asked me what kind of budget I was working with, and I told him, depends on what kind of product I'm looking at. If its nice I'd be willing to stretch it a little, but please show me what I'm asking for. He sees my frustration and finally we head to the used section. I tell him a floor plan we are interested in, and our tow vehicle and he shows me just one trailer. He then says he has to go talk to his manager (I didn't even say if I was interested in it or not) he just left. I proceed to view all the used trailers that were open and the guy still hadn't returned. I proceed to the parts store (which they had discounted items out in front). I finally see across the lot my sales guy, so I meet him back in the used section. He thinks he found something for me. So we go to a section of, I guess it was, newly in on trade or something. I really like the trailer, take a video of it to send to my wife and we start to talk... BUT he didn't even know the price on it, so he proceeds to collect my information. I had something I could trade, but told him I have a private party buyer lined up, so it didn't really matter if I traded in or not. He then says I'll go get a price on this unit. I told him I would meet him at the food tent that they had setup. I told him, might as well get me a few brochures of the new stuff (since he was still trying to sell me the new trailers). I sit and have some food and talk with a really nice older couple who purchased from them a few years ago, they bought a used Class A. Raved up and down on how great they were to them. (I was internally questioning this, because I have yet to feel like a valued customer). The guy comes back and now has someone else with him (I'm guessing a sales partner). The guy proceeds to tell me my trade is worthless and the trailer I was looking at they would make me a cash deal on, but he didn't really seem like he wanted to deal. They started asking when could my wife come down and look. Yes I wouldn't make a deal until my wife was able to view the trailer, but I won't show her until I know the price might be right, or that there is even a deal there. One at a time they both leave (with an excuse of needing to open a unit for another sales person.) I wait for a good 10-15 mins glance over in the used section again and see him helping another couple. I have had it, I don't usually complain on someone specifically, but this really started to piss me off. I go to the main sales office in hopes to find a manager to voice my concerns to, and I walk in to see his partner who told me my trade was worthless. I ask him to see a manager, he says I am the manager. Taken back, I calmly inform him of how displeased I have been with my experience. He said well I didn't know you were here to buy today. WTF? That shouldn't matter I'm a customer, I have interest in purchasing a trailer. Maybe I didn't find the right priced one or exact match to my needs, but I could be back.... Well sales guy then walks in and I again voice my displeasure with my experience. With my foot out the door, he says, "well let me know if I can help you". On a positive note: Their service department, I had visited a previous day and they were able to assist me with knowledgeable information, and great customer service. read more

Worst customer service ever and when I complained about it I was told that they no longer wanted me for a customer. When you make an appointment that is for the drop off only and they can't tell you when they will get to your unit. They ordered the wrong part for a warranty repair twice. They challenged my complaint, said they couldn't find the problem, I took my 5th wheel out again - same problem, they said they fixed it-same problem again so I called the factory and was told it couldn't be repaired, that Sierra RV should replace it. I told the service advisor ? Who said "oh really?" They don't return calls, don't give you any idea about estimated cost of service etc. only positive is Jamie the Service Manager - she is great but is so overwhelmed she can't do everything. Probably the rudest place we visited while looking for a Travel Trailer, the lady that decided to come out and talk to us after we had spent over 30 mins walking around because the poor guy I believe his name was Tom, was helping another couple, and they were there before us so we respected he was busy and probably alone WRONG! I was told when I mentioned I had a good credit of 680 that it would not be enough to finance a luxury vehicle, so I might want to re-consider getting one, I was furious I own my home and a luxury SUV no debt and this rather warn out looking woman with zero personality, before even finding out about me tells me this BS. Result bought a beautiful EVO new ( I was looking at the Jayco at Sierra RV) from Johnny Walker in Las Vegas and drove it back to Reno, cheaper trailers RV's and EXECELLANT service well worth the road trip. My credit was ran and cleared with no hiccups at all, may be the female that we spoke with might want to take a few lessons in customer service and relationship building!! read more

Took our RV in to be serviced that we purchased from there.. We always do our business with them. Very disappointed this time. They had our RV for 2 months, our mistake, we told them keep it as long as you need to! Opened our sliders and took one look at my carpet. It was filthy with black grease! I was so upset. I had sheets on the floor, rugs covering to protect the carpet, they also were filthy. Next time I will take pictures of my carpet and the rest of the motor home. read more
