    Chicken pad Thai
    Aaron T.

Ordered a chicken pad thai to go from this business and it was ready for me sooner than the quoted 15 minutes, which was awesome. When I opened the container at home, I noticed that the noodles looked a little dry, which was odd because I don't live far from the restaurant. Regardless, the pad Thai was still pretty appetizing. Noodles had the usual chewy consistency, which I like, but the chicken was overcooked and a little hard.

Can-Coon Thai Restaurant is hands down one of the best Thai spots in the Bellflower area! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Some of my go-to dishes are the egg rolls, Thai beef jerky with sticky rice, grilled pork salad, yellow curry, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, veggie stir-fry, and the crispy pork with Chinese broccoli--seriously SO good. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better, love the atmosphere . I come here whenever I need comforting, soul-satisfying food. Truly a hidden gem and one of my all-time favorite local Thai restaurants. Highly underrated!

Absolutely loved this place. The food is SO GOOD!! service was great. I will becoming a regular here. Chill and zen like atmosphere inside, which I was surprised to feel as I approached the lot. I got the cashew nut and added shrimp with a side of rice- SO GOOD!! Also got the Thai iced tea- delish. My friends ordered pad Thai with tofu- delicious as well- and the catfish which was spicy! But great.

    chicken pad kee mao (mild)
    Emily L.

Ordered a mild spice chicken Pad Kee Mao for takeout, my order was ready within 5 minutes. Service was friendly. The noodles were pretty decent! Only thing is I wasn't expecting bean sprouts which definitely messed with the flavors for me. Also, felt like the portion was on the smaller side for $14. If you can handle spice, their mild is basically not spicy at all. Definitely would like to try out the rest of the menu!

Love this place, super clean and food is always fresh. Super nice service, very friendly. Feel free to ask for recommendations, their pad se-ew (73) is always delicious. We also love to start with the nam kao tod (13). It is an amazing crispy rice dish and great to share.

As a semi-frequent customer, I highly recommend this place for those that want to go outside of standard Thai dishes. They have 2 versions of papaya salads, while both are definitely delicious, I gravitate to the Laos version with raw crab. Another go to dish, Koi Koong, raw marinated shrimp. There's no dish description on the menu but there is a picture. Absolute yumminess. Another go to dish is the Yen Ta Fo soup. It's definitely different from the soups I've had. It was a pleasant introduction to new soups. A new dish, Chinese broccoli and crispy pork over rice. I don't typically order fried rice but something said, Order Me, so I did. No regrets at all. I thought the crispy pork would have a crunch with lingering sogginess, NOPE. The pork pieces were top tier lechon pieces. Every server during every visit has been 100% with their customer service. They have been patient and very helpful when trying to decide new dishes.

Found on Yelp, drove there for lunch and was worried at the parking lot. Looked sketch. Walked in and it was nice inside. Food was amazing, although portions were on the smaller size. I didn't mind because the taste was great! Only one person up front doing everything herself. So service was slow during lunchtime. Would definitely come back as I thoroughly enjoyed my pad thai and soup.

This is a hole in a wall Thai restaurant in the middle of Bellflower that just exceeded all my expectations. Their parking lot easily gets full, depending what time you go and if it's the weekend. The restaurant is very clean with beautiful decor. Service was top notch and food was absolutely fantastic! The Chinese broccoli with crispy pork is my absolute favorite! I've had it at different Thai restaurants before but this has been the best. My husband loved their Nuah Nam Tok salad. We'll be back!

Sai Eua Pork Sasusage def try it if you are ok with lemongrass all up on your grill

Place has great reviews, so was hyped up to try it. Did not disappoint. Its not the best authentic in LA, but def delicious. Better than what ive tried i my area. I had the Yellow Curry & Sai Eua(pork sausage). Bother were yummy, like i said not the best ever. But def yummy. Place is tucked in a small shopping center, prking was not bad for being noon work day lunch time. Staff was super friendly, made a positive impression being my first time here. Def coming back to try other items and the other curries.

    Chicken fried rice

We've only had take out from here several times. My favorite thing here is the crispy pork with Chinese broccoli over rice. My only complaint is that the pork amount seems to get smaller and smaller. My kids like the pad see ew and the crab fried rice. We've also had the chicken fried rice which was pretty good. The spicy noodles (drunken noodles) are hit or miss. Sometimes the noodles are too spicy and break apart. Other times it's fine. Overall I'd recommend Cancoon for take out

Delicious, authentic Thai food plus excellent customer service by the staff. The ambiance is totally unexpected as clean, casual and very comforting dinning experience. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

I just found it overall a bit aggressive and over seasoned, with not a lot of layers or subtleties in taste, which is usually a sign to me that the cook is substituting salty strong flavors in the place of more depth of flavors. So it's kind of like catering to a lower common denominator and that approach may satisfy many, without anyone really being impressed by the result. But perhaps expecting subtle refined flavors is too high a bar for a chain type of Asian food place - maybe. While I did like the noodles and the sauce, the filet mignon entree portion was something more along the lines of what I'd find/expect at a Panda Express. Which isn't terrible, as I like Panda, but I just expected more with the high rating. The place is clean and modern and seemed newer, but the overall vibe was more impersonal, quick-serve, corporate. If someone wanted to meet and eat here, I'd be fine with it. But I also wouldn't go out of my way to eat here or necessarily suggest it if I were meeting a friend out for lunch.

This was a bit off the track on our way but had great reviews so went for it! Reviews said meals come with bread and aguadito! Count us in! The bread and aguadito are actually Yummy together, never thought to eat like this but it's so good. The soup is more watery than I make mine or have had but trust me, dip your bread in it! Game changer!!!! I love that they do this, makes them stand out and serving soup with each meal is why we chose it over all the other Peruvian restaurants on the way. The place was packed by the way. And we saw more ppl going in for the first time as well saying oh look, it's over here in the corner. I love more and more ppl are discovering how amazing Peruvian food is!!! For meals we got aji de gallina, my personal favorite and it did not disappoint. It had a very slight kick to it. Again trust me, I'm Kentucky born, I can't handle spicy lol. And this was perfect. Not spicy. Just a tiny kick. Try it. Enjoy it. Make sure you take a bite of rice with each bite of this dish. It's meant to eat together. Got papa rellena to share but we weren't fans so we just ate our other dish. But next day we ate it with our leftovers and we both enjoyed it much more. A must with the aji verde of course. And again, each bite must be paired with the salsa criollo that comes with it. Salsa criollo is the sliced red onions in the container with limon and cilantro, trust me, it's how it's meant to be eaten. Hubby got the arroz con mariscos. He enjoyed it. I am not a jaela fan, so I just don't care for these dishes. I'm a chaulfa fan! And they are not the same though they may look similar. So if you don't like this try chaulfa next time. But my husband prefers this dish to chaulfa, still he doeslikes both. We got chicha to drink. There's taste a hint different than other places. Not at all a bad thing. We loved it! Obviously house made! Some put a tad more pineapple and some a tad more cinnamon etc. So not all will taste the exact same. I highly recommend you try there's. Wish we'd gotten two each! Restaurant was clean and efficient and good seating options. Bathroom was clean and roomy. Staff was welcoming and nonstop working and willing to explain the dishes if you aren't familiar so ask if needed. Menu is thorough. It explains each dish well. My only complaint, it's far from Oceanside lol!!! LA has sooooooo many options, we need more in San Diego county. But if you are trying to decide since there's sooo many in the area, we recommend you try this place. Oh and my husband used the extra aji verde we had left over on our pasta, he loved it.

The tables were also sticky, and the overall interior was dated. No other customers came the whole time we were there during peak lunch time. My niece and I decided to share the Leche de Tigre ($21.99) and a Lomo Saltado ($19.99). The food came out in a decent amount of time. The leche de tigre was decent but the chips it came with were stale and insufficient in ratio of how much leche de tigre there was. The portion size was more than what we wanted to eat. The menu showed they used to have a smaller size and that would have been better for us. The lomo saltado is the most disappointing of all. This is typically a Peruvian restaurant main dish so I wanted my niece to try it, but this was such a bad first impression of Peruvian cuisine. The beef was tough and the flavor was forgettable. The fries were... edible. I didn't care for the rice. We barely touched it. We were so excited to come here and we left pretty disappointed with our appetites spoiled. Not recommended.

ATTENTION!!! THIS CLASS 302 IN DOWNEY **IS NOT** LIKE THE CLASS 302 IN CERRITOS!…read moreThere is no shaved ice, there are no waffles, and Downey is self-serve drinks while Cerritos makes the drinks for you. Their food menus differ, as well. With that being said, this Class 302 is closer to my house, so it's frequented more. I probably would have made this a 5 star review, but I haven't tried enough of their food or drinks to make a sound judgement. While I can tolerate spicy foods, in my day and age now, spicy foods aren't a good look for me sometimes. I like how I can opt out of the spice here. I've had the Pork Bone Noodle soup and the Miso Udon soup, both are delicious. They both come spicy and in different degrees of spicy, but, again, I opt out of the spice. Their popcorn chicken also comes in different degrees of spicy, and I've tried the no-spice, and 1st degree (??) level of spicy. The popcorn chicken does have a distinct flavor to it, maybe it's Chinese 5 spice (?), I'm not sure. It took some getting used to, but my twins love the popcorn chicken from here. The fried basil they add to it is a nice touch of flavor. I'd probably choose the fried pork chop over the popcorn chicken, flavor wise. The pork chop is topped with cilantro and served with their house made sweet chili sauce. I guess the secret to their self-serve drinks is to use to slushes in lieu of the ice so that your drink isn't watered down. Now, there are instructions on how to self-serve your drinks here: *Order the size of drink you'd like (small, medium, or large). *Ask for a sample cup if you're not sure what to get. *Add your boba and other fillings first (fruit, egg tart, popping boba, lychee jelly, Oreo crumbs, etc.) *Choose your drink combinations and fill your cup carefully. *If you're gonna add toppings after you fill your cup with your drink, leave some space for said topping. *If there's some overflow of your drink, you might be asked to drink some of your drink or it will be poured out into a sample cup. Your drink can't seal properly if it's not flush with the top of the cup. *You might have to wait a minute for your cup to be sealed because Other Patrons. I always add one scoop of boba, and have tried the following combinations: *Coconut Slush-Ube Slush-Coconut Slush-Lychee Jelly *Coconut Slush-Pineapple Passion Slush-Lychee Jelly *Coconut Slush-Mango Berry-Pineapple Passion-Lychee Jelly *Pineapple Passion-Hisbiscus Tea *Coconut Slush-Thai Tea My twins choose a combination of the Strawberry Cream Slush, Horchata Slush, and Coconut Slush. They'll add Oreo cookie crumbles sometimes, too. I'm a fan of Jasmine Milk Tea, but when I tried it here, it wasn't Jasmine'ing like I'm used to, so I don't get it here. There's a good mix of ages/generations, families vs. couples vs. friend groups vs. solo diners, and while it can get packed it doesn't last for long. I've Shazam'd some music here so the playlists are pretty good. We're always greeted with a "Hi, Welcome!" when we walk thru the doors, so staff is pretty cool. Oh, the door can be heavy to open because of the AC on. We've always had some seats to sit on whilst waiting for our food to-go. Parking close by is a usual occurrence, but this shop is nestled in a very busy shopping/restaurant center.
