Honestly, it's basically…read morethe same broth, the king version just loads it up with brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatballs, so think of it as a fully stacked boat noodle. The broth is the star here. It's rich, flavorful, slightly sweet with a tangy kick, pretty sure there's some tangerine going on in there. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. Sticky rice was soft and actually tasted like it was made fresh, not reheated from yesterday. Waitress was attentive and nice. Place itself is small, clean, modern, very mom-and-pop but done right, not rundown. I will definitely come back.

I just found it overall a bit aggressive and over seasoned, with not a lot of layers or subtleties in taste, which is usually a sign to me that the cook is substituting salty strong flavors in the place of more depth of flavors. So it's kind of like catering to a lower common denominator and that approach may satisfy many, without anyone really being impressed by the result. But perhaps expecting subtle refined flavors is too high a bar for a chain type of Asian food place - maybe. While I did like the noodles and the sauce, the filet mignon entree portion was something more along the lines of what I'd find/expect at a Panda Express. Which isn't terrible, as I like Panda, but I just expected more with the high rating. The place is clean and modern and seemed newer, but the overall vibe was more impersonal, quick-serve, corporate. If someone wanted to meet and eat here, I'd be fine with it. But I also wouldn't go out of my way to eat here or necessarily suggest it if I were meeting a friend out for lunch.

The bread and aguadito are actually Yummy together, never thought to eat like this but it's so good. The soup is more watery than I make mine or have had but trust me, dip your bread in it! Game changer!!!! I love that they do this, makes them stand out and serving soup with each meal is why we chose it over all the other Peruvian restaurants on the way. The place was packed by the way. And we saw more ppl going in for the first time as well saying oh look, it's over here in the corner. I love more and more ppl are discovering how amazing Peruvian food is!!! For meals we got aji de gallina, my personal favorite and it did not disappoint. It had a very slight kick to it. Again trust me, I'm Kentucky born, I can't handle spicy lol. And this was perfect. Not spicy. Just a tiny kick. Try it. Enjoy it. Make sure you take a bite of rice with each bite of this dish. It's meant to eat together. Got papa rellena to share but we weren't fans so we just ate our other dish. But next day we ate it with our leftovers and we both enjoyed it much more. A must with the aji verde of course. And again, each bite must be paired with the salsa criollo that comes with it. Salsa criollo is the sliced red onions in the container with limon and cilantro, trust me, it's how it's meant to be eaten. Hubby got the arroz con mariscos. He enjoyed it. I am not a jaela fan, so I just don't care for these dishes. I'm a chaulfa fan! And they are not the same though they may look similar. So if you don't like this try chaulfa next time. But my husband prefers this dish to chaulfa, still he doeslikes both. We got chicha to drink. There's taste a hint different than other places. Not at all a bad thing. We loved it! Obviously house made! Some put a tad more pineapple and some a tad more cinnamon etc. So not all will taste the exact same. I highly recommend you try there's. Wish we'd gotten two each! Restaurant was clean and efficient and good seating options. Bathroom was clean and roomy. Staff was welcoming and nonstop working and willing to explain the dishes if you aren't familiar so ask if needed. Menu is thorough. It explains each dish well. My only complaint, it's far from Oceanside lol!!! LA has sooooooo many options, we need more in San Diego county. But if you are trying to decide since there's sooo many in the area, we recommend you try this place. Oh and my husband used the extra aji verde we had left over on our pasta, he loved it.

The staff is friendly, the food was tasty, and this was an unexpected oasis of delight. My first time I tried the Lomo Saltado, it seemed like a must try for a first experience. And it was excellent. The lunch special started off with a delicious soup and then the meal came out and hello. This was no meager lunch. It was a lunch that was delightful, delicious and I satisfied for the rest of the day. The second journey here I was happy to try something different. I had the Vinita Saltada with beef. Well this was once again a wonderful meal. I am so thankful to have found this wonderful place. And I look forward to going again soon. And bringing another friend along.

This is typically a Peruvian restaurant main dish so I wanted my niece to try it, but this was such a bad first impression of Peruvian cuisine. The beef was tough and the flavor was forgettable. Their food menus differ, as well. With that being said, this Class 302 is closer to my house, so it's frequented more. I probably would have made this a 5 star review, but I haven't tried enough of their food or drinks to make a sound judgement. While I can tolerate spicy foods, in my day and age now, spicy foods aren't a good look for me sometimes. I like how I can opt out of the spice here. I've had the Pork Bone Noodle soup and the Miso Udon soup, both are delicious. They both come spicy and in different degrees of spicy, but, again, I opt out of the spice. Their popcorn chicken also comes in different degrees of spicy, and I've tried the no-spice, and 1st degree (??) level of spicy. The popcorn chicken does have a distinct flavor to it, maybe it's Chinese 5 spice (?), I'm not sure. It took some getting used to, but my twins love the popcorn chicken from here. The fried basil they add to it is a nice touch of flavor. I'd probably choose the fried pork chop over the popcorn chicken, flavor wise. The pork chop is topped with cilantro and served with their house made sweet chili sauce. I guess the secret to their self-serve drinks is to use to slushes in lieu of the ice so that your drink isn't watered down. Now, there are instructions on how to self-serve your drinks here: *Order the size of drink you'd like (small, medium, or large). *Ask for a sample cup if you're not sure what to get. *Add your boba and other fillings first (fruit, egg tart, popping boba, lychee jelly, Oreo crumbs, etc.) *Choose your drink combinations and fill your cup carefully. *If you're gonna add toppings after you fill your cup with your drink, leave some space for said topping. *If there's some overflow of your drink, you might be asked to drink some of your drink or it will be poured out into a sample cup. Your drink can't seal properly if it's not flush with the top of the cup. *You might have to wait a minute for your cup to be sealed because Other Patrons. I always add one scoop of boba, and have tried the following combinations: *Coconut Slush-Ube Slush-Coconut Slush-Lychee Jelly *Coconut Slush-Pineapple Passion Slush-Lychee Jelly *Coconut Slush-Mango Berry-Pineapple Passion-Lychee Jelly *Pineapple Passion-Hisbiscus Tea *Coconut Slush-Thai Tea My twins choose a combination of the Strawberry Cream Slush, Horchata Slush, and Coconut Slush. They'll add Oreo cookie crumbles sometimes, too. I'm a fan of Jasmine Milk Tea, but when I tried it here, it wasn't Jasmine'ing like I'm used to, so I don't get it here. There's a good mix of ages/generations, families vs. couples vs. friend groups vs. solo diners, and while it can get packed it doesn't last for long. I've Shazam'd some music here so the playlists are pretty good. We're always greeted with a "Hi, Welcome!" when we walk thru the doors, so staff is pretty cool. Oh, the door can be heavy to open because of the AC on. We've always had some seats to sit on whilst waiting for our food to-go. Parking close by is a usual occurrence, but this shop is nestled in a very busy shopping/restaurant center.

As the chicken flautas arrived, I could smell the aroma of the food and could tell it was made with love in the kitchen. The rice and beans, side of guacamole and sour cream, definitely hit the spot once the flautas were dipped. I would probably come back again and try something different if ever in the area.

Cancoon Thai Restaurant has the most authentic tasting dishes I've tasted in a very long time. I've ate here about 3 x. I have yet been disappointed. I wanted to actually take a little bit of time today to write them an outstanding review as credit is due. My wife and I was craving Thai food and sticky rice yesterday. We ordered take out. We order deep fried pork , we also had the deep fried fish with garlic sauce , shrimp salad (amazing by the way), & spicy Angel wings. And 3 servings of sticky rice! My wife picked it up after work and I didn't make it home to eat it till 3 Hrs later. To my surprise everything was still Delicious. The fried dishes were still crispy and the shrimp salad was prepared with just the right amount of spices. I was so pleased with this place I will always come here for my Thai Cravings. I recommend this place to who loves Thai food. read more

They have great food, service and desserts. Been going here for years now and its hard to go to other thai places because either the food lacks flavor and service is not good. Here I don't remember being disappointed.. maybe once when there was a lot of people and order wasn't ready right away.. otherwise we usually come here and are satisfied. They don't really ask you for spice levels, so make sure you let them know if you want something spicier than their normal serving! I've been here twice, the first time I didn't alter anything but the second time, I asked for spicy for my yellow curry--How did I know it was gonna be spicier? Well, my yellow curry came out orange. That's how I know. HAH. It was so GOOD I wish I was eating at home so I could sweat in peace. It was the perfect spice and I could still taste the flavor rather than my tongue being all numb. The pickup time was pushed back once, and even after leaving and returning later, my order still wasn't ready. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but if orders are running behind, it's important to provide accurate estimates and communicate clearly with customers. The sushi was enjoyable, but the long delay and lack of timely preparation made for a disappointing experience.
