    HAIR IN MY FOOD
    Lola C.

I am so surprised with the fact that this place has 4 stars. The food here is disgusting. Bland and no flavor. TO MAKE IT WORST THERE WAS HAIR IN MY FOOD. The tostada was disgusting and soggy I couldn't pick up the tortilla under. Then they threw lettuce all over it. I've never had a tostada with that much lettuce. The burrito was an entire joke. It was more like an enchilada to me. It wasn't rolled or anything. The only good thing is the flan. Everything else was disgusting I had to throw it all out

    Dinner combos taco and burrito

I have driven by this location many times but have never stopped in to dine. After I heard a recommendation, I decided to visit for a early dinner. This restaurant is so bright and colorful inside even with the tables and chairs. The menu has so many items to choose from and there is something for everyone. Both me and my son picked items from the specials menu. I chose the taco/burrito combination and my son chose the two burrito meal. I really wanted to try a margarita but was driving. The service was a little slow but very friendly staff. I have a few other restaurants that I prefer but this was a good visit

Chicken Fajitas Lunch Special with real homemade flour tortillas

Coworkers and I randomly picked this Mexican restaurant for today's lunch spot out of the three in the immediate area, and I am so glad we did. We all had a stellar experience at Cancun Mexican Grill. The service is authentic, super friendly and accommodating; I'd go back for that alone, but the food was something to write home about. (Yes, I texted my mom the attached pic before we went back to work). Chips were warm and crispy. Salsa tasted fresh without a hint of being inside of a can. I added the habanero hot sauce found on the table to add a little kick, and it certainly took it to a whole new level. I ordered chicken fajitas, and I've had not-so-great fajitas in my day, and I've had decent ones. These were beyond decent, my friends. The lunch fajitas were priced right, but that wasn't even the best part in this inflation-strapped world: the simple, yet oh so delicious FRESH, real-deal, homemade flour tortillas served alongside made these chicken fajitas bump up from "above average" to "outstanding!" I highly recommend checking this place out!

Monster horchata for me and lunch margarita for dad. Love this place so far

Holy Horchata! I think I found it... my Mexican food heaven in MIchigan. Walking in, the bright decor was inviting. Passed TV screens with Telemundo on one, and Soccer game on the other, in their small bar area. Small sign at the host stand lists the specials and happy hour. We were visiting for lunch, after hearing about Cancun from my boss. I ordered a horchata and Dad had the lunch margarita. Mine was a super tanker - 1 liter glass of pure heaven on a hot tongue - it came out to $3.99. Dad's was super lime flavored, served in a champagne glass. Lunch arrived quickly and was well done. Flavors were perfect and portions were substantial for lunch specials. I had special #1 and dad had speedy gonzales lunch. The sauce on my chile relleno was tasty but boarded on being too salty. Very smoky flavor and not too hot. Thick egg wash batter that could have been done just a little bit more but it was still good. Typing this review makes me want to go back, now, to try something else. Is it lunch time yet?

I must have passed this place 50 time and always wondered what is inside. It's not often that you find decent Mexican food in a small town. When I finally found the time to stop I was pleasantly surprised to find what was inside. The restaurant is brightly decorated inside giving it an almost tacky feel. Drinks are good and not very expensive (margarita specials are fantastic), and the food was some of the most flavorful that I found outside of Detroit's Mexican Town. My carnitas were very good, tender and with a mild flavor. They had some of the best beans and rice that I'm tasted. I'm looking forward to going here again and trying other tasty treats.

On the way to Ann Arbor, my wife and I only had time for a couple of tacos. She always has to have guacamole with her chips and orders a side. When delivered to the table, it appeared to be almost a pint of the food. And it was excellent. It's a terrific value for the price. I must admit that I could have been more impressed with the hard-shell ground beef taco (the meat was badly overcooked) or the lamb barbacoa (a bit tough). However, I HIGHLY recommend the taco de Pescado. I have had plenty of fish tacos in CA, but this ranks right up there with the best. It was moist and flaky. That will be on my "go-to" order when I go back. And I am going to have to try the rellenos many have mentioned. That dis is another favorite of mine. I will return!

We started with the complimentary chips & salsa (solid salsa btw!). The $8.50 taco lunch combo was fantastic. Lunch combos are served between 11am - 3pm daily. It came with 2 tacos + rice and beans. The tacos were NOT street taco-size. And just to level set - NONNADAT flour tortilla with shredded saw dust, it's corn tortillas with onion & cilantro here only y'all! I had the following tacos: *Pollo -- TBH a little dry, but the flavor was good. Probably would not get chicken again. *Carnitas - I was expecting pieces of carnitas but they cut theirs into cubes. I didn't mind because it was flavorful and tender. I also like how they include some fatty pieces for that flaavvor. Yum. Would get again. Their other meat options are Asada, Al Pastor, Carnitas, Campechano, Chorizo, Pollo, Carne Molida. I'll definitely have to try the campechano some time! Also, the salsa they serve with the tacos is NO joke - one was orange & one was green. I couldn't tell which was mild and which was hot because they were both pretty spicy, ha. But they were both great complements on the tacos. It sounds like there used to be a market once, but it's no more! A patron walked in to ask and then walked straight out when the gal said there was no longer a market! It looks like they've converted it to more seating, but it's currently blocked off. Glad to have found my go-to taco spot in Saline!

The moment you walk in, you're hit with that warm, lively vibe that makes you feel like you're in for something good. And trust me, you are. This time around I came with my husband and we had in a margarita, a 40 oz beer, the California burrito, and the garlic shrimp. Everything came out hot, bold, and packed with flavor. Every dish I have ordered from this place tastes like it was made with real care. The plates are generous, too. You're definitely getting your money's worth here. What really seals the deal is how reasonable the prices are for the quality and portion sizes. It's rare to find a spot where the food is this flavorful, the servings are this big, and the bill still feels fair. Tacos Jalisco has become one of my go‑to places in Saline, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. They do charge 3% service fee if you use credit card so they can keep their prices low. Jalisco had great reviews and I was lucky enough to be able to try it recently. Conveniently located just off of Michigan Ave, Jalisco occupies a large building with a large patio. We were promptly greeted and seated, and our server came by with water not much later. The food is all of the favorites that you would expect at a great Mexican spot. I chose a taco salad and it hit the spot. Kiddo got Mac and cheese after overhearing that it was available. It was all solid. Prices were extremely reasonable and service was fast. Overall we were very happy diners and I can't wait to return to try something new!
