    Had a chance to work with the team there today to purchase a Subaru Crosstrek with my nephew. Words can't express the level of gratitude that I have for how seamless the process was with Darius (salesman) and Derek (manager). They communicated with us throughout the day via phone to try and best meet our needs for the price range we were in. Once we arrived, they were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and operated with integrity. I didn't feel the pressure from them of what you typically feel when buying a car and most importantly we left with the one my nephew wanted and he was completely elated! Hats off to the team and we'll keep you all in mind when in the market again for a new vehicle.

    This was my first time buying a car so I came in a bit nervous, not fully knowing what to expect. I was warmly welcomed by Sam, who made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. I don't know much about cars but Sam was incredibly helpful and informative, and I'm absolutely over the moon about my new Subaru Outback!!

    Amazing experience! First, Darius has a quiet patience about him. He is so kind, soft spoken but extremely helpful. If he doesn't have the answer, he doesn't make broken promises, rather will find it to ensure we are not given the incorrect information. Truly, not aggressive and has a patience that makes you want to work with him. I had called over 5 dealerships all over the Bay Area as I flew in same day to help get my nephew car. His was totaled from a drunk driver and having the worst week. Other dealerships laughed and were just bluntly rude with our ask and request for what we were looking for. We ended up getting an amazing deal on a brand new 2026 crosstrek. To give us the icing on the cake- we had the pleasure of working with Derek who provided us with an amazing deal on warranty. He was genuine in conversations, not passive aggressive in generic conversation but truly made my nephew feel special and welcome for his first experience in purchasing his new car. Our family are first time owners of the Subaru family and Derek truly had the knowledge and experience in welcoming my nephew ensuring he made the right decision. Thank you both and thank you to DDG - these guys are stellar. Exceptional people, and honest. If it wasn't for Derek, this experience wouldn't have been the same.

    I am writing to express my absolute outrage and disappointment regarding a shocking experience I had with Capital Expressway Auto Mall Subaru. I received a promotional offer promising a $100 Visa gift card simply for test driving an EV vehicle. As someone genuinely interested in Subaru's EV lineup, I scheduled a test drive -- only to be met with lies, rudeness, and an appalling level of unprofessionalism. Two so-called "online product specialists," Jerome Rizon and Jacob Castro, both called me and flat-out denied the existence of the promotion -- despite the fact that it was clearly stated in both the email I received and on Subaru's own website. When I asked for an explanation, Jerome Rizon responded with jaw-dropping rudeness. He said, "You asked too much," and then hung up on me mid-conversation. I've never been treated with such disrespect by a representative of any brand, let alone one with Subaru's supposed reputation. Is this how Subaru trains its staff to speak to customers? Is this the kind of treatment prospective buyers can expect from your dealerships?

    Had an awesome experience with Stephen Fitch today. My first time in decades buying a new car. No high pressure, instead respectful information, sincere professionalism and true interest and focus on what we were looking for. The entire staff at DGDG Subaru in San Jose were great.     Went in to service my 2019 Premium Subaru Crosstrek for its 84k mile maintenance. I was assisted by mister Matthew Ta! Wonderful service advisor, helpful & attentive: I've been thinking about buying my second Subaru for a while now. Ended up test driving the 2025 Wilderness Edition Crosstrek and loving it! I purchased my 2nd Subaru the same day. The nice gentlemen that helped me throughout the process was mister Ford Schwartz. He was very detailed and attentive. Answered all the questions I had. Very excited to pass down my passion for Subarus to my loved ones and the future generations to come :)

Both experiences were delightful, stress free (who would associate stress-free when you buy a car?) and quick. No hassle car buying - that should be his business's title. He also scheduled all the test drives, negotiated the prices, and pointed us to a specific person at the dealership, a complete VIP experience. He did the same for our friends just this week, they bought a great car in a great condition, he negotiated the price down and steered them away from less desirable options. My friend was nervous (just like I was before ) because the process of buying a car is stressful. But after they got into the dealership and the car was waiting for them, they test drove and bought the car. My friend said: who would have thought that I can enjoy buying a car! I always had a fabulous relationship with my service advisor there, but when they closed I started going to the Infiniti on the corner of Tully and E. Capitol. It was fine, but quite inconvenient due to location. I needed my car serviced and thought it was time to change back to Stevens Creek. When I found out that Infiniti moved to the Capitol Auto Mall, I decided to give them one more shot. Thank goodness I did! My service advisor was (and hopefully will always be) Bryan Hather. He was able to not only figure out my car's issues, but make sure they were fixed. I never felt "up sold" and completely trusted him with my car and money. He is the reason I am staying with this company. Not only was he efficient, but interacting with him was enjoyable. Finally I felt seen as a person by a dealership and not just a walking credit card number. If you need a service advisor for your Infiniti, go with Bryan H.- you will not regret it! Also, please note that I believe two different Bryans work there, so go with Bryan Hather.

He got the keys for me and let me take it for a test drive. Upon return I decided to purchase the car. I had been looking EVERYWHERE for a affordable Honda Civic in good condition. We negotiated and agreed on a price and made the deal. I had a unique situation; I live in Stockton and had no way to get the car home that day. He allowed me to keep it on the lot until the next morning. Shane and his team are not stereotypical sleaze bag used car salesmen. Customer service and a welcoming atmosphere are a priority at The Car Store San Jose. They've been in business since '77 for a reason. But, in a market where cars are in high demand, supply is drastically low, and are selling for $10k+ over MSRP... thats as good as it gets. We were referred to Arkady through a friend. Hubby has a long history in retail sales, so the car buying experience has always been... eventful, as everyone knows. But now with 2 toddlers in tow, we weren't able to dedicate the months-long research, wheeling and dealing, and multiple dealership trips all over the Bay Area to get what we wanted. So we decided to give Arkady a try. We told Arkady what we wanted. SPECIFICALLY what we wanted. Down to the T. A brand new Platinum Highlander Hybrid in Pearly White. A special order color, in a very sought after trim level and combination. Arkady looked and found us a few, but we weren't ready yet. So we waited. And the aftermath of COVID was in full affect. The dreaded chip shortage. Dealer lots were empty, cars were being bought up like no other, and the market is now flooded with buyers willing to pay top dollar from a supply pool that would disappear with a sneeze. Unfortunately for us, we just couldn't afford to battle with ballers, so we waited, hoping Arkady could find us a deal. Luckily, Arkady was able to place us an order with the Toyota Factory for our specific car, in our specific trim. We waited a few weeks, putting our trust in Arkady, and we finally got the call. The vehicle had landed and was ready for us. Everything we wanted, as we had requested. Even in this market, he was able to get us below the MSRP, which is absolutely mind blowing. He promised, and delivered in spades. His cost of service is worth its weight in gold. The process was painless. He was prompt with his communication and was always straight forward. On delivery day, we met at his office and spent no more than 15 minutes doing paperwork.... to buy a car... that was tailor made to our specification.... at a deal we were more than happy with... We cannot emphasize at how valuable his services were to us, and our family thanks him greatly. Remember the kids? They didn't even have time to even THINK about throwing a tantrum before they were buckled up in the new car and we were on our way. Arkady runs a no-joke, no-frills, get-it-done business. He saved us a lot of time, stress, and yes, money during the car buying process, and has a customer for life. Thank you, Arkady, for all that you've done!

In the last six months, I've purchased both a 2026 Tucson Hybrid Limited and a 2026 Ioniq 5 Limited here. Stephen Fitch was an exceptional sales consultant. As a 74-year-old who has purchased over 35 vehicles, I've seen every dealership trick in the book. Stephen was a breath of fresh air--patient, knowledgeable, and zero-pressure. I especially appreciated that there were no 'required' add-ons like paint sealant or fabric protection marked up over the MSRP. I was able to negotiate fairly, utilize dealer incentives, and secure Hyundai rebates that saved me significant money. Danielle Torres made the paperwork a breeze. She presented warranty and service options informatively, but remained professional and pleasant when I declined. A huge plus: she scanned everything and sent it as a PDF rather than handing me a heavy stack of paper--perfect for my electronic filing system. Before I drove off, Stephen took the time to ensure I was comfortable with the high-tech features of my new EVs. The dealership is spotless, well-managed, and the detailing team did a superb job.     I've been meaning to write this review for awhile now…read more 2011 Hyundai Elantra. We had issues with the car in 2021 (within the 10 year warranty). The car was shaking, so we brought it to Capitol Hyundai. They replaced some coils under warranty. Next year (outside warranty), the same issue. They said we needed a new engine ($8k). I'm no detective, but that sounds like they put a bandaid on it that lasted long enough to make sure it went past the warranty period. Why ever buy a Hyundai again if the local dealership does shady things so they don't have to honor the warranty. What's a 10 year/100,000 mile warranty worth if it's not honored. We were already in the market for a new car at the time...an Elantra Hyundai. Good price and lots of features. So they made $8k in the very short term. Lost out on $25k+ in the near term. Lost out on all future maintenance and repairs. All that money went to Toyota Sunnyvale instead. Currently, we've been looking at new vehicles to replace a 2014 Mazda, so they lost out on $40k+ and the subsequent maintenance and repairs. Yeah, we're those people who go to the dealerships for maintenance despite the high prices because of peace of mind. The only way we'd ever entertain buying Hyundai again is if they refunded us back the $8k and the money we spent on a rental car while waiting for the engine replacement to be installed.
