Small to midsize bar located in bordering area of Eagle Rock and Glassell Park. From the menu to the space, this place has obvious vintage Italian vibes. The service here has always been friendly on the few occasions I've been here. I've been here both in the late afternoon and later in the evening before closing time and you definitely get a more swanky lounge feel at night. The drinks are well prepared and great representations of classic Italian cocktails with some fun variations. I've gotten a few different type of Negronis, some spritzers, etc. On my most recent visit, I ordered a White Negroni because I was listening to someone talk about it on a podcast and I really wanted to try it. Delicious. I personally haven't had any of the food here yet, but there is a pretty solid of selection from light bar bites to plates of pasta and dessert. Would love to come back and try some food, but just a great place to grab drinks with friends or if you are eating nearby at a different restaurant, this spot is great for pre or post dinner drinks.

The Capri Club in Eagle Rock is easily one of the top bars in LA, and Negroni Week was the perfect excuse to stop in. Walking in, you're immediately struck by the European vintage décor smashed with a 1960s New York City ambiance; intimate, stylish, and effortlessly cool. It's the kind of place that feels both timeless and alive. I started with a classic Negroni, but with a twist: a hint of mezcal that added just the right amount of smoke and depth. For my second round, maybe it was the vibe of the bar, but I switched things up with a tequila Negroni made with ArteNom 1146 Añejo. That drink was pure fire...bold, complex, almost spiritual. Dare I say, Stanley Tucci and Sarah Michelle Gellar would approve. To close out the night, we kept it refined with a Martinez...simple, elegant, and perfectly executed. I'll say it outright: this was probably one of the best Negronis I've ever had. Capri Club nails both the cocktails, atmosphere and exceptional service making it a must for anyone serious about their drinks. Ciao, until we meet again!

Cozy red booths and a really good martini. Feels like a little escape. If you're looking for a cute bar and great vibes-- this is it.

This was a really cute small bar that had great female bartenders that was super friendly and super nice so I was a little girl going here. I feel really comfortable and decor was super cute and it was just red everywhere so it's got the dark movie. feel the music was a little bit of a mess for me, and some of the people that are patrons were too drunk for my liking, but it was made the men doing that so if you can just not be near them instead of the bar and enjoy your time you'll love it The food here and the drinks are really, really good. The peace goes sour is a stand out and the little gem Caesar is a must that should be a staple there. I had the Bolognese and that was so good taste so fresh really enjoyed my time here.

A local hipster spot in Eagle Rock, Silver Lake area of LA which always has very interesting bohemian people and vibe. It's loud but buzzing with good energy, with seating inside or out and was lucky to get a big booth and shared with 3 women who had no seats. Can't say what the food is like as had none, only cocktails but it is a long time Italian restaurant like a pub. Saw very few people eating but it was Saturday night , lots of conversations so not a dead bar at all. Servers were all attractive and attentive, responsive and drinks were very tasty, so good mixology going on here. Loved the red lighting glow, would go back for sure! Had a Negroni, which was well done and took a chance on the mescal based Capri Sour which was wildly different but very flavorful and fun! (Amaretto, red bitter, almond and mescal). Music was upbeat and fun, played through some good old school speakers ! Fun place after work for sure! Relaxed atmosphere but lively crowd. ( Perspective of non local )

5 stars! The vintage signage & tiled floor ignited my curiosity to strike up a conversation with the friendly bartender who told me the story about the old Capri Club, how they were on kitchen nightmares and how new ownership came in and redid the whole place. Well they did a great job, because this place hits all the style notes but the vintage nature is kept in tact like the oak wood elements and original tile to name a few. Menu is on a small page, which I like and has interesting choices interesting. I forget the name of my drink but it was a black pepper gin drink- SO good! Then had a draft on tap. I had the vegan chop & the cacao e pepe appetizer. Salad was okay, on the bitter side. Everything great though. No complaints. The environment is so enjoyable to be in and the staff was on top of it.

Walked us through the menu, gave a few drink recs, and just made it easy. While waiting, we took a lap around the place and checked everything out. Tons of little details everywhere. You can tell someone really put thought into it. Nick mentioned the owner actually goes to Thailand often and brings stuff back for the restaurant, which makes sense once you see the space. There was one cook in the back handling everything and bringing plates out fresh. Food came out hot and honestly hit. We ordered the steak pad see ew, chicken fried rice, fried shrimp rolls, and drinks. No complaints. Glad the burrito line was long or we probably wouldn't have found this spot. Definitely coming back, feels like a good date night place.

As a I grew up in Highland Park I took my wife to visit The Arroyo Club bar to celebrate her recent promotion after the bar was recommended to us by a close friend. We were looking forward to a fun evening and decided to participate in the trivia game being hosted that night. After receiving an answer sheet from the host, Matt, my wife and I began playing. The trivia topic was based on an older television show that we were unfamiliar with, and we initially used our phones to look up answers. A male individual approached us and informed us that using our phones was considered cheating. We accepted that explanation, stopped using our phones, and continued playing. Later in the evening, I observed bartender Justin speaking with the same individual and appearing to provide him with answers. When I questioned how that was different from what we had been told not to do, Justin stated that it was not cheating because they were part of a group. I responded that it was only a game and not a serious issue, especially considering my wife and I had only accumulated a few points. At that point, the interaction became uncomfortable. Justin informed the host that my wife and I should be disqualified for cheating, despite the fact that we had stopped using our phones when instructed. The employee who had originally confronted us also became increasingly confrontational, which my wife and I found intimidating. I later asked another bartender, Zach, what the concern was, and he explained that the winning prize was $50. While I understand the importance of maintaining fair rules, the way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily hostile and embarrassing. What made the experience even more disappointing was that we appeared to be the only minority guests present at the time, and we observed other patrons using their phones without being confronted. This left us feeling singled out and unwelcome. My wife attempted to discuss how the situation made us feel with a female bartender who had blue hair. Unfortunately, her reaction appeared dismissive, and our concerns did not seem to be taken seriously. As we prepared to leave, the employee who had initially confronted us remained nearby staring in our direction, which further contributed to our discomfort. For reference, we were seated at the right corner of the bar if you were facing the bar from the front. I am not seeking compensation. Rather, I hope management will review the events of that evening, including any available security footage and discussions with staff members present. No guest should leave feeling targeted, embarrassed, or unwelcome while simply trying to enjoy a night out celebrating a special occasion.
