Lost my laundry. First said simple mix up, and when the person who got mine returned it, all would be well. 5 days later, they then say they OUTSOURCE the laundry to a third party, and they lost it. Do they have a tracking system? No. Do they have a phone number I can reach them? No. Their response? Give me a few weeks, hopefully it turns up. Demanding cash. They offered no solutions. Initially this was the best laundry service in the neighborhood. I had been using them for 2 years until recently we had a major issue. I asked for a special dress of mine to be dry cleaned and for the zipper to be replaced. When I got my dress back from them and tried it on the zipper - which had not been fixed- got stuck and ripped the dress. when I contacted them and told them what happened they said their tailor was out of town. i told them they should have let me know this when I sent them my dress. what would be the point of only dry cleaning a dress w a broken zipper? i asked for my money back and they refused. This all could have been avoided. i will never use them again. read more

Super friendly, family run bizz. It's not my normal laundry spot but I like that I can drop it off early before work at 7am and pick it up on my lunch. If you're running late you can call them and they often are open a bit after hours which is nice if you get caught up at work. Prices are fairly standard. They also placed a reusable plastic bag tag on my laundry bag with my name on it instead of just a laundry ticket. Great customer service, would use again! read more

Ahhh! I cannot even explain in words. I was so damn lazy yesterday and I need my laundry done. I tried searching thru Yelp for services who does pick up and delivery. I came across this and tried to book thru their website. Voila! Within 30mins, my stuff got picked up and was delivered the same day! I mean, I live on a 6-floor walk up (no elevators), so this is definitely a life saver! Price is a little on a higher side for me comparing when I do it myself, but hey! If it saves me so much time and effort to do it, why not? And to top it all of, my clothes smell soooooo nice!! I just wanna send even my clean clothes with them. After having a nightmare experience with another company that said they would deliver at a certain time and on a certain day (which is imperative for the business that I run) that rarely if ever followed through, Capri was a breath of fresh air. I called desperate to get clean towels to my Pilates studio, which are essential during flu season especially. Capri asked when I'd like for them to pick up my towels and I said, "now, if possible." To my amazement the gentlemen on the other end of the line said, "no problem! I'll be right over." And he was. Literally within minutes. My towels where washed and promptly delivered the next day when they said they would be. I can't stress enough what a seamless experience this was. They have a new and loyal client with me. My clothes are completely ruined!!!! Do not trust this place with any hang to dry garments. My clothes have been stained and shrunk. These were all brand new clothes worn once that I took on vacation, and now look like rags. The white clothes now have color in them in addition to stains. I am so upset and disappointed with this service. These were some of my favorite pieces of clothing, and unfortunately are unable to be replaced. read more

Left 5 sweaters and a suit coat early morning on a Sunday with no indication that it would take longer than pervious orders we have left with Capri. Called on Wednesday they said they would text on Thursday when done. Called on Thursday, they said Friday. Explained that the items were needed for upcoming travel. Still nothing on Friday. Called on Saturday, the day of the trip and still they could not locate or deliver the items. Had they said that it would 7 days to dry clean my clothes I would not have left them since they were needed for a business trip! Finally returned from the business trip to find that one of the sweaters has been stained! This is for the 84th street location, will not return. 1. Be upfront with your customers so they can plan accordingly 2. Don't return clothes in worse condition than you received them. 3. Offer some type of recourse when failing to deliver on your promises. After multiple calls to other laundry services in the area that were unreliable / untenable, I finally found Capri! Not only did they send a reminder text to let me know when my laundry had been dropped off with my doorman, but they also were timely with pick up/drop off. I will admit, I paid a little more than I expected, but they also provided same day delivery (dropped off first thing in the AM) which was amazing!!!! On March 3rd I brought in my Boss's Blazer for tailoring; Angelo took the blazer and did not give me a receipt as he was a bit busy; I trusted him only because I've brought in other clothing for dry cleaning and never had a problem with Angelo; surprisingly when I came to pick up the blazer he told me his sister was still working on the blazer; after 2 weeks of the same story I was a bit disappointed. Angelo finally tells me I never gave him a blazer which was a bit disturbing. I had the company drive as my witness only because he drove me to Capri with the blazer. I asked to speak to his sister and he became very protective of my request to speak to his sister by saying that he is the owner and I need not to speak to his sister. I asked him how did the blazer go from getting tailored by his sister to now saying I never brought it in. We discontinued going there however I find it extremely distasteful of Angelo to accuse a customer not giving him a piece of clothing for service. Poor Customer Service read more
