It was my husband's and my first time eating at this restaurant. Our server was wonderful--very respectful and friendly, which made us feel welcomed right away. I ordered the seafood pasta, and my husband got the chicken piccata. My seafood pasta was good, but it had a bit too much shrimp for my taste. I actually preferred the chicken piccata, but my husband didn't enjoy it because it had too many capers. I like capers, so I didn't mind, but they were overwhelming for him. Overall, the food was okay--not bad, but not the best we've had. For example, we both agree that California Pizza Kitchen has better pasta dishes. After eyeballing this place for sometime. My girlfriend and I decided to finally stop by on a Friday at 5pm and to our suprise we were seated right away. Cute resteraunt on Main Street and nice ambiance on the inside. Great menu, good variety of options. Great selection of wine here to our suprise. Our server was very helpful and kind and our food was out in minutes which was awesome . We ordered the Mushroom Ravioli that's in a lemon sauce and dear lord that dish was so good!!! I would rate that dish a 10 out of 10. Very good portion as well for the price. We also ordered tbe chicken parm and that dish was the opposite. HORRIBLE. Soggy and no flavor/seasoning on the chicken. The pasta and the sauce is axtually good and we ate that part of the dish but I was so dissapointed with the chicken. I honestly was going to rate this place 3 stars but my gf and I really loved that ravioli and that was their saving grace for a 4 star rating. Let me start off by saying the manager is not the greatest. Typically managers are warm and inviting but here the gentleman with the bun is always very callous and in some ways quite rude. He a long time ago was very inviting, but the last few times we've been there he hasn't been welcoming, especially as a manger. Our waitress Kassie was absolutely incredible which was the reason we decided to stay rather than leaving. The next problem however was when one of us got up to use the restroom, the table was so wobbly and his wine spilt all over himself when he scooted his chair back without touching the table. Insane. Our food was pretty average as it was okay food, it just felt like it was missing something. Right off the bat service was iffy on a Thursday night. Nobody greeted us and we stood there for a while until seated. It seemed that there were only two workers doing everything and there were about 8 tables and the service was slow. The ambiance in there is odd, tables in the middle feel crammed and are facing the other tables next to you directly. Feels cramped and not like a usual italian restaurant with nice lighting and music. We ordered two different pasta dishes and the calamari. Food was all good! Just felt like we were bothering our server and the vibe in the restaurant just wasn't great. Had to ask for water multiple times. I ate here after a work trip with some of my coworkers. It took a while for my party of 4 to get served, but it was Veteran's Day weekend so it was pretty packed. There was live music performed by an individual right next to my table. I enjoyed it, but some of my coworkers were annoyed by how close we were to the stereo system that the performer brought in. The bread was dry, but still fluffy on the inside. The bread arrived before my water so I was getting pretty thirsty. The water came with a slice of lemon which I appreciated. We had baked brie for our appetizers and I ordered a linguine ala vongole for my entree. The baked brie was delicious but I think it needed more pieces of bread. My pasta had a very generous portion of clams in their shells. It was pretty light and not super filling, but I liked it. read more

Went on a Friday night right before 9pm, there were maybe two other parties in there, so not busy at all. My partner and I were seated with menus, and given complimentary bread. I saw at least 3 workers, the host who sat us, the girl behind the bar polishing glasses, and there was a guy handing out food. While we sat and waited I saw the host take his whole 15 minute break, the table next to us eat their appetizer, and their dinner. The girl polishing the glasses avoided eye contact with me and never came to take our order or ask if we were being helped. We waited 30 minutes and then ended up walking out. They didnt bother asking us if we even wanted something to drink, let alone come to take our order. They close at 10 and I've worked in food service, I get wanting to close up and go home on a Friday night, but i would have respected them if they said "hey the kitchen is getting ready to close, do you mind if we get your order in before [a certain time]" but they just ignored us and didnt even bother acknowledging us. We got there over an hour before closing, it says they close at 10 and they had a guy playing live music, so I know that they planned on having business, sucks for the owners that the staff doesn't acknowledge the customers. I got the Alfredo Fettuccine with Chicken and I could literally count the chicken pieces. The Alfredo sauce was tasty. However, I feel skimped on my chicken. Dirty ice really made my stomach turn. Just use a scooper. You're putting a dirty cup into a batch of ice. They were packed, so perhaps it was just because they needed to scoop ice quickly. Anyhow, not the best I have had but good flavors. My plate was about 20 bucks with tax. Service was good. For non germaphobes or weirdos like me, this place is good. We always love stopping here when we are in town. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is fun and the food is very authentic Italian and delicious with unique flavors and combinations of flavors. We have come here often with our three children and they love this restaurant too. Today was a date with my husband and our server was wonderful. I've never had bad service and always have a server who is knowledgeable about the menu. Today we had the Calamari, the walnut salad and crab cannelloni (our favorite) and everything was delicious. Sadly this business has really gone downhill in quality; it seems the cook may not know how to prepare italian food. We had a very prompt waitperson but the "manager" (short man with bun) was not customer service oriented. We dined on a chilly and breezy Friday evening and when I asked to get the front door closed he said "the manager wants it open"; I said "then tell the manager that the customer would like it closed". My husband got fettucine with "beef tips" in a nice sauce but literally the noodles were swimming in way too much sauce. I got "meat lasagna in bechamel" that was a ground beef pie. Two lasagna noodles, dry unseasoned ground beef and a hard topping of cheese; the sauce was poured around the piece and was decidedly NOT bechamel. I wanted so badly to enjoy this restaurant with my family. One star for the ambience. We're here visiting from Long Beach, CA and came on Halloween night with 12 guests. We were quickly seated and were waiting on 2 others. While waiting, not one person came to our table to offer drinks or introduce themselves. We were sitting there confused as every other table received service. Our server took our order after seeing us nearly leave and still didn't offer water nor take drink orders. Per our server, he advised he hadn't greeted us because we were waiting on two more guests. As someone that works in the restaurant industry, this was unacceptable. We received our food before getting our soups and salad. My brother in law had the potato soup that literally tasted like the box it likely came in. He described it as a paste or glue. I had the eggplant Parmesan and ended up taking the salad to go. The eggplant parm was way undercooked and ended up soggy. I took my salad home and ate it the next day, the salad itself was fine. The ceasar dressing was nothing near a real ceasar dressing, it clearly was made with mayo. I nearly threw it up after two bites. I'm not typically one to complain, but this was one of my worst restaurant experiences. read more

Came here for lunch a few months ago for the first time after having had this restaurant bookmarked forever. We came for a late lunch on the weekend and the restaurant only had a few tables filled. Service was initially friendly and prompt while we observed the menu. Placed our order and waited a very long time for the food to come out. Service remained friendly but I'm not sure what happened with our order? A few tables were sat after us and all received their food before us. I genuinely think the kitchen maybe lost our ticket or it got stuck somewhere because I promise you it didn't make sense. We were socializing so we didn't address it with our waitress but I know we should have. Right when it was getting to that point though that we were mustering up the courage to complain the food came out. We shrugged it off but later talked about how to wait for our food/lack of acknowledgment definitely brought down a star. However, thank goodness for exceptional food because we were really thrilled with our meals. The menu is pretty large so I do feel that they have something for everyone. I was in a simple mood that day and ordered caprese salad and soup. You can't really go wrong with a soup and salad BUT the leek potato soup that they had on special that day was literally one of the best soups I've had in a long time. Please ask about their soup specials daily because this is a must! So creamy and flavorful. My caprese while average was tasty and I was happy. My friend had the linguine and clams - definitely complimented that it was one of the better clam pastas that she'd had in a long time. The food really is great so for that I'd give them one more try. While our service was friendly the wait time on our meals left a little bit of a sour taste in our mouth but when the food was worth the wait we figured we'd need to be back! read more

We have been coming here for years and have always loved it. On a corner on main street it is right next to a parking lot which is great. I went here the other day for an early dinner and was once again delighted by how good everything was. We were lucky to be seated right away as normally it is packed but because we were early it was easier. The inside is small but very cute. You can feel the Italian vibes. Tons of great window space to see outside. It's great. The fresh baked bread that is brought to the table with the oil and balsamic is legit heaven. So fluffy, warm, and flavorful. Always a nice start to the meal. Our server was so sweet and attentive even though it was busy. She was great. We got the Pappardelle Gamberetti which has shrimp. Added some parmesan, fresh pepper, and Chilli flakes. It was so yummy and enough to take home for another meal. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. We also got the Ravioli which was super creamy with plenty extra to take home as well. Normally you only get 4 ravioli when going to other places but they load it up. The filling was great and full of flavor. We used some of the bread to soak up some of the spices because they were so good. We will definitely be back! read more

We ordered delivery from Capriccios . The delivery service was OK but they forgot one of our side salads. When I called them about it. I asked if they could just deliver it and they said they had no delivery people available, they refunded us just $4. They also gave us a dish that was supposed to be classic Bolognese lasagna but had no sauce and no meat. It was just pasta and cheese, that's it. Not sure what it was, but it definitely was not lasagna, unless someone just forgot to put the meat sauce on it. I asked for a refund but never got it. Got a reservation online easily. They communicated quickly. When we arrived early they seated us right away. They bring bread and water right away. They have oil & vinegar at the table for the bread. I ordered the chicken piccata, this time it was in a bowl type dish, way too many capers, overrun with capers, which made it too salty & too much (watery) sauce so every time I cut into the chicken or ate the pasta the juice splattered all over my clothes. The bowl makes it hard to cut into the chicken. Tasted delicious though. I also added a Caesar salad and it was big enough for both of us! Excellent portions. My boyfriend got the chicken Parmesan and it was amazing. They brought over fresh Parmesan that they do for you at the table. I asked for extra in a small bowl and she brought over some pre-shaved Parmesan that was too hard and didn't melt into the food properly. It wasn't the fresh Parmesan into a bowl like I wanted. But not a big deal. The worst part of the dining experience was the bussers & servers throwing plates into the plastic bins, even when they stack plates it echos all over the restaurant. I'm sure they are immune to the noise but it is so noisy we couldn't hear each other talk over the plates. Sounded like they were throwing them across the room. The server kept bringing us water when we needed it, but after taking our food order didn't offer wine. She also didn't ask if we wanted cappuccino's or dessert. Missed opportunities. I hate writing this!!!! I love cappriccios but recently I've been getting bad service from this one dude that's short and brown skinned , norma and the host on friday Christian? Were very nice to us and apologized and unfortunately we stood up and left. He passed by the table who knows how many times and took the order of the other table before us and comes up to our table and goes "what do you want?" What the hell!! I'm a sever as well and I know how the food industry works this was a freaking joke and that server is a joke , idk who the owner or manager is but they need to hurry up and do something about that guy. read more
